Description

A new Guest House composed by 6 rooms, placed in central position in Favignana, the biggest island of the Egadi archipelago, a desirable destination for snorkeling and diving lovers.

Interiors have been carefully chosen in order to design a delightful and welcoming environment, but also typically sicilian: furnitures have been selected to show a touch of local tradition, and many of them are the result of a careful restauration work.

The Guest House rises a few feet away from the sea, next to the Praia beach, where the setting creates a creek which seems to embrace those who land on the island's shores. Here stands the "Tonnara Museum" (old "Stabilimento Florio"), which is perfectly integrated in the scene.

Guests will be able to visit the musem which is an unique and well restored example of industrial architecture, and will also be able to attend the shows and events which take place there.

Al Gattopardo is a fully restored old house and the restauration work has respected the original structure, placed in a wonderful position.

Our guests will be able to sojourn in a calm and relaxed environment, just a few steps away from the village's centre.

The Praia beach and its crystal waters are comfortably reachable by feet.

We had a great stay. The staff were very calm, helpful and resourceful. In fact, they recommended places to go and told us very interesting anecdotes and stories about Favignana. Strategic location for restaurants, bars and beaches. Highly recommended.

My wife and I spent a week at this property, everything was perfect, great location, availability to rent both normal and electric bikes to tour the island, the manager and his collaborators were really friendly and attentive, at breakfast they spoiled us with typical cakes or sweets from the area, excellent cleanliness, in short, we felt really pampered, we highly recommend it.

Very beautiful and comfortable structure. Excellent cleanliness. Extraordinary welcome: Tommaso, a polite and helpful young man, provides all the necessary information to experience the island to the fullest. The highlight is the breakfast, with all the products prepared by the extraordinary hands of Tommaso's mother; every day a different pie, homemade cookies and almond paste, superb lemon jam.

Everything is fine, except for the bike rental which is not suitable for the island's paths. We advise future customers not to embark with the car in tow, especially with the SIREMAR shipping company, due to the missed departures (and related refunds) caused by the maestrale wind.

Wonderful experience in every aspect. The structure is very well-kept and welcoming, with a small inner garden that is an explosion of flowers and colors, where you can relax in the shade of an olive tree. We were welcomed with cold tea and amazing pastries prepared by Tommaso's mom, who offers a different tart for breakfast every day, along with fresh fruit and various pastries, an unforgettable experience. To be appreciated is the attention to the environment with the use of photovoltaic panels and the careful management of a precious resource like water. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I were very satisfied with the holiday, both in terms of the welcome and the attention we received from Tommaso.\n\nThe island is fabulous and we appreciated the care and respect for the environment that we found.\n\nAt Al Gattopardo, you can breathe a familiar, serene, and trusting atmosphere. It would be even nicer if it also had a restaurant.\n\nOur room was comfortable, furnished in a functional way, and always cleaned with care.\n\nThe breakfast was excellent, composed of fruit, sweets, biscuits, a delicious lemon jam, and the tart made every day by Tommaso's mother (except the last day of our stay when Tommaso forgot to give it to us), but something savory was missing.\n\nWe definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to feel welcomed like family.

Great Bed and Breakfast in the town center, convenient both for reaching the coves by bike and for the proximity to the port and for dining in the many places that Favignana offers. Tommaso is very helpful in giving daily advice, especially on which part of the island to go depending on the weather forecast. The rooms are very nice and well taken care of in detail. The structure has a very convenient and quiet location, just a few tens of meters from the main street and the port. The building is perfectly renovated with a very characteristic taste and attention to detail, the environments are very welcoming and all the furnishings and finishes are very pleasant. The double room where we stayed was very nice and spacious, the bathroom in our room also had a small opening window as well as being new and equipped with everything necessary with a large and good quality shower box. The manager was very kind and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was rich with fresh pastry products. I would happily return without hesitation.
