Pleasant and calm stay among the lemon trees; friendly welcome and good advice from Fabrizio at check-in; hairdryer provided (thanks). Ideal location to discover Syracuse, Catania, Mount Etna and Taormina. Spacious and rustic accommodation; pretty terrace. A parasol (or a canopy above the terrace) and comfortable seats were missing to enjoy it fully.

We had a lovely stay here. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. We enjoyed walking through the lemon trees and the views. The accommodation itself could do with a revamp; it all looks a bit tired and the kitchen is not very well equipped. But it is rustic and in keeping with staying on a farm. We would certainly recommend it, especially as it is so reasonably priced.

We discovered a magical place among lemon trees with a view of the sea on one side and Mount Etna on the other. For 3 people, the facilities were more than sufficient, the bedroom spacious as was the kitchen/living area. A lovely terrace for meals in the sun, the opportunity to pick some lemons and the pleasure of a short walk along the property's paths. Finally, Fabrizio welcomes you and kindly offers his advice. An enchanting place where we will happily return.

A bit more equipment in the kitchen would be advisable. A newer shower as well.

Very beautiful, authentic place! Beautiful scenery and a very large area to walk among the lemon groves.

Peaceful and fragrant green environment, welcoming host, breathtaking view!

Easy accommodation in the middle of a lemon farm. The lemon trees are really fantastic, so many and everywhere. We could even pick some lemons for our needs. Great. The rooms are spacious, but they were colder at night. The air conditioner can be used for heating, but it works only in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen was cold. Cooking is on gas. No microwave, no kettle. Small fridge and very limited cooking equipment. It was not easy to cook for a family of four, but somehow we did it. The farm itself is marvelous, with a view of Etna on one side and the sea on the other. Great. Only the roads are terrible there: narrow, one-way, and without GPS navigation completely impossible. The nearest supermarket, Deco, is about 2 km from Limoneto.

Central location for visiting the east coast of Sicily, from Taormina to Syracuse, away from the city bustle. Functional accommodation but a bit old and lacking in equipment (kitchen, hair dryer).

The setting met our expectations. We stayed in the "superior" accommodation. We regret the outdated equipment available in the gîte (kitchen: no oven, only 3 small teaspoons for 4 people, no kettle, the gas hob is obsolete and must be started with the lighter provided by the owner. Bathroom: detached and shaky shower enclosure). In short, a level of comfort close to a mountain hut. Fortunately the surroundings are magnificent!

I would have liked more information and advice about the area.

We spent three wonderful days in and around "Il Limoneto". A friendly and always approachable host, an incredibly romantic terrace with a great sea view, and walks through the lemon grove. We recommend booking one of the rooms directly on the terrace for the view. Surroundings: Acireale – a few minutes by car away – may not be a well‑known town. All the more reason to discover for yourself what it has to offer. We spent an evening there on the main street and particularly enjoyed the great, very cool and stylishly designed enoteca. The facilities are really very basic, you should know that. An ice cube maker for the freezer or toothbrush cups would be desirable. But the accommodation is also really inexpensive. Therefore, still full marks.

Very expensive for a miserable, almost primitive accommodation. The owner seems more attentive to his dog than to his guests.

Lemon grove. It was a surprise worth repeating. Immersed in an Eden. Words are not enough.

Beautiful farmhouse with several accommodations set in a large lemon grove. Peace, relaxation and cool temperatures are guaranteed after a day at the beach or from various excursions. We never had to turn on the air conditioning, despite staying around Ferragosto. The elevated location offers a splendid sea view and a hypnotic glimpse of Mount Etna, which never stopped puffing smoke and treated us to a striking lava flow at night. About twenty minutes by car in the direction of Taormina is the pebbly beach of Marina di Cottone, which has several equipped beach clubs and a very long stretch of free public beach. Near the farmhouse there are also several rocky public beaches with ladders for sea access (Santa Tecla, Pozzillo, Stazzo etc.). Heading toward Catania, in Aci Trezza you can visit the marine reserve of the Island of the Cyclops. The host is extremely friendly and helpful, offering plenty of advice; the whole place is family-run with great warmth and attention to guests.

I stayed there several years ago, more than once(this makes seven). I always found everything excellent and things have even improved. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant location of the accommodation in the middle of the lemon trees. Ideal for exploring the region (sea, ETNA, Taormina...) but the living area with extra beds is hot and without air conditioning (very good bedroom with air conditioning). The facilities are poor and outdated (bathroom) and could be improved.

The agriturismo "Il Limoneto" is a structure immersed in greenery, ideal for stepping away from the hectic routine of daily life. My family and I stayed for a week in a functional apartment consisting of two rooms (one of which contains a kitchenette and fridge) plus the bathroom. We had a great time, also thanks to the courtesy and professionalism of Mr. Fabrizio and his collaborators. The location is strategic, situated in the metropolitan city of Acireale, but just five minutes (by car) from the urban center and all city services. A corner of paradise and relaxation.

We spent two nights in the accommodation and it was a wonderful, eventful experience to stay in the middle of a lemon plantation. One can enjoy absolute peace and in the evening listen to the chirping of the crickets. In the morning, it is worth getting up early to experience the sunrise and the breathtaking view of the sea. A walk through the plantation is absolutely recommended - we even discovered a land turtle. We had the house Erice, which with a small, well-equipped kitchen and plenty of space offered everything we needed. The location is ideal for exploring Mount Etna, visiting the Alcantara Gorge (Gole dell’Alcantara), or taking a trip to Taormina. However, the accommodation is a bit remote, so a car is absolutely necessary. Overall, a really pleasant stay - we would definitely come back! We were captivated by the beauty of the places, this very extensive lemon plantation can initially give a feeling of isolation. The ground floor apartment with a large terrace is very simple but tastefully arranged. Some dish towels would be welcome in the kitchen.

There is a lack of some usual kitchen equipment (toaster, and a bit of salt, pepper, tea, coffee for arrival...), but otherwise everything is super quiet and meets expectations. The entrance is a bit narrow for rental cars that are getting wider and wider!

Our week at the accommodation was simply wonderful. The apartment was very clean and well furnished, the landlord very friendly and provided us with many tips for excursions. However, the lemon grove and the view of the sea and Mount Etna were unparalleled. A truly unique accommodation!

The accommodation (we stayed in a small house with its own terrace and 2 rooms called Erice) is beautifully situated in the lemon farm. We were there in April and everything around us was blooming and buzzing. We could see the sea and Mount Etna from our terrace. The accommodation is very quiet, cozy - simple and equipped with everything you need for cooking, sleeping, and hanging out. In just 10 minutes by car, you can reach the impressive old town of Acireale. The host Fabrizio gave us very good tips for restaurants and visiting Mount Etna. In addition, he has a large selection of books in various languages available. He was very friendly and all four of us really enjoyed our stay. For a visit to Catania and Mount Etna, I recommend this romantic accommodation to everyone (both about 40 minutes by car). We would love to come back with even more time.

The limoneto is a beautiful and large property with magnificent lemon trees, quiet in the countryside, with lovely views either of the sea or of Mount Etna. A true change of scenery in contact with nature. The furniture of the accommodation we were in was a bit rustic but offered a nice and spacious terrace. Spacious room. I recommend it for the change of scenery, the tranquility, and a good price-quality ratio.

Between the sea and Mount Etna, the property of Il Limoneto is full of charm, amidst lemon trees and with an exceptional environment. The welcome and the accommodations are authentic and of high quality, a stay to recommend.

We liked the location very much. We rented the Little house and enjoyed our stay. Fabrizio and his wife had lots of good advice for us.

The spacious estate of Fabrizio is picturesque amidst wonderfully fragrant lemon trees, with a view of Mount Etna and the sea. It is important to have mosquito repellent, especially during our travel period (late September).

We chose this as our final stop on our loop around the island. We were treated to fantastic views, excellent lodgings, enthusiastic host, Fabrizio, and we highly recommend Limoneta to travelers. Thank you for the lovely bottle of wine.

The place is just magnificent! Between sea and mountain, you stay in Fabrizio's property, surrounded by lemon trees on both sides... The colors, the scents, the calm, everything leads to serenity. The bathroom is antiquated, the exteriors are average, the coffee machine is of ancient age, kitchen equipment at a minimum.

We stayed for 5 days, I felt like in paradise with a view of Mount Etna and the sea. The only noise was the sound of some lemons falling from the trees. Convenient in any case to reach many interesting places through the SS114.

Agriturismo Il Limoneto is a paradise where you can forget all worries and appreciate nature and the gifts of life. You will be surrounded by lemon trees as far as the eye can see and you will have a breathtaking view of the sea. The owner is always kind and smiling, happy to offer help and information. Our apartment was perfectly clean and the kitchen included everything we needed. The lemons smell and taste amazing. We had lemonade daily. I hope we will be able to return to this corner of the world soon.

The Agriturismo Il Limoneto was truly perfect for hosting our family of 5 people. In April, the lemon and orange trees that cover the estate are incredibly fragrant. Fabrizio is helpful and pleasant, he willingly helps out. Our 8-year-old daughter gives a special mention to Miaula, the adorable dog.

We stayed in a small stone house in the middle of a huge lemon garden arranged on narrow terraces with romantic and winding corners and wonderful viewpoints of the sea and Mount Etna. The garden allowed our children and us to have a very free and relaxing time! We felt very welcome by Federico. Thank you very much!

Very nice structure immersed in nature and tranquility. The manager, Fabrizio, is very kind and helpful and provided us with very useful information for excursions, trips, and restaurants.

This is a wonderful peaceful place in between the lemon trees. The owner is always around if you have anything to ask. The view is amazing. The standard accommodation we rent was very simple with a small kitchen (with very basic equipment, no oil or vinegar), air-conditioning, a balcony, shower. We really enjoyed our stay at Limoneto.

This is a beautiful lemon grove with excellent accommodation. Quiet at night, beautiful views over the sea, immersed in the green of the trees. We happened to be there during a heat wave and the air conditioning in our apartment was a blessing! The kitchen of the apartment was well equipped, so you can make your own meals and eat on the large terrace with beautiful views. You definitely need a car to access the beach, go to shops, restaurants etc. Fabrizio was a great host, available for all questions. We'd love to come back!

The Agriturismo Il Limoneto is located in a paradisiacal location, already at the entrance you can see the sea and a small part of the lemon grove - this promise of epic landscapes is kept! Both downhill towards the coast, as well as on the property itself (lemon "grove", buildings and planting of the area) or uphill towards Mount Etna - in every direction there are always new beautiful views, some of which remind of classic landscapes of the 18th and 19th centuries (such as the time of Goethe's Sicily trip, who travelled from Catania along the coast towards Taormina and beyond) - indescribable! We were fortunate, on the one hand, to be able to look all the way to Calabria from the property due to very clear visibility, and we could also admire Mount Etna during an eruption from our cottage at night. All this set against the wonderful Sicilian vegetation backdrop and completely undisturbed by loud noises and any tourist hustle and bustle. On to the practical aspects: the individual accommodations are scattered on the property, so they are ideal for those looking for a quiet accommodation in the style of isolated holiday homes. Their construction style (rustic) as well as the perhaps not quite "technically perfect" (in terms of perfectly cemented) and winding condition of the paths etc. clearly fit into the overall landscape. At least I did not expect anything perfect and travel trolley-friendly here. Such expectations would be absolutely inappropriate here. For us, it was almost two weeks of deeply relaxing vacation, completely free from imposed daily time constraints (as is usual in hotels due to meal or cleaning times). You are responsible for your own meals, but even in this not completely "touristic" place, this should not be a problem. The owner with his family, including his parents, lives on the property, is always approachable and despite the ongoing work with the care of the plantation and lemon harvest, always has good tips. In our case, the owner took it upon himself to personally show us three protected beaches/swimming spots after the waves at the open sea became too intense one day (swimming with a child). The vacation will resonate with us for a long time and we hope to come back soon despite the "difficult general situation"!

Wonderful place. Upon arrival, you are greeted by a strong scent of lemons. The property is literally immersed in greenery with a view of Mount Etna and the sea below. In my opinion, ideal for those who love a special contact with nature. Well-arranged accommodations. It's pleasant to have meals outdoors. Courteous and kind owners.
