Swimming pool in the green, typical Sicilian cuisine, on the slopes of Etna and a stone's throw from Taormina, a few meters from the sea, for a vacation of relaxation, sport and culture where you can stay choosing between B&B or half board.
Agriturismo Galea, located in eastern Sicily in the town of Riposto, is a place of nature, taste and relaxation: cottages nestled in a citrus grove, consisting of rooms finished with quality' and good taste, each room with its own entrance and private bathroom.
The rooms are located a few meters from Restaurant and Pool, in the facility there is a dedicated breakfast room, a children's playground, indoor parking, reception, restaurant and pool.
All rooms are equipped with private bathroom, TV, satellite, refrigerator, air conditioning, wifi.
Rooms are cleaned daily.
Pets are not allowed.
Children can enjoy a large playground surrounded by greenery, a bowling alley, table tennis, table soccer and other various games. In addition, we have a small, comfortable reading and TV room equipped with comfortable sofas.
Bicycles, both for adults and children, are free of charge.
The outdoor swimming pool is equipped with deckchairs and sunbeds, surrounded by the green lemon grove, and is for the free and exclusive use of our guests.
The spacious terraces, over 1000 m2 of Sicilian terracotta, are equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas.
English breakfast is served at from 8 a. m. to 10 a. m. using fresh fruit, freshly squeezed oranges and lemons from our organic citrus grove, homemade cakes and cookies, cold cuts, cheeses, fried eggs with bacon, fresh bread, jams, cereals and yogurt.
For lovers of gastronomy and good food, our restaurant is the ideal place to enjoy typical Sicilian dishes.
Nature excursions (Etna Sud, Etna Nord, Alcantara), sports (trekking, diving, horseback riding, e-bike excursions, Quad bike excursions) and cultural excursions can be booked at the farm. Shuttle service to and from the airport on request.

Thanks to its central and strategic location on the Ionian coast, it is easy to reach the magnificent Sicilian cities of Catania, Mount Etna, Syracuse, Noto, and Agrigento, as well as tourist destinations like Taormina, Giardini Naxos, and the Alcantara Gorge. Riposto and its surroundings offer exciting opportunities for nature lovers who want to discover the charm of Mount Etna and the volcano in all its aspects. What can you do in the area? In addition to strolling through the historic center and along the coast, you can also admire other attractions such as the Tower Modò, dating back to the 16th century (which seems to have medieval or even older origins), the small harbor, the pebble beaches, and the marvelous deep blue sea. Following the coast north for about 3 km, you will reach the port of Riposto and you can discover all the beauty of the town. Here you will find several churches, such as the majestic Basilica of San Pietro, where we recommend entering to admire the paintings and the 19th-century pipe organ, the Church of the Abbey, and the Church of Our Lady of Carmel. Among other interesting buildings in the center, the Municipal Palace and Villa Pantano are worth mentioning, which can be discovered after a romantic and relaxing walk along the coast. Naturalistic (South Etna, North Etna, Alcantara), sports (trekking, diving, horseback riding, e-bike excursions, quad excursions), and cultural excursions can be booked directly with the company. Beautiful accommodation amid lemon trees. We felt very comfortable! The rooms are simple but clean. There is a bit of everything at breakfast; sometimes it could be replenished a little more quickly. The pool area is very nice; there is a small bar with drinks and snacks. It is well located for trips to Mount Etna.

A great, well-maintained property. Very friendly staff. A beautiful pool with a perfect view of Mount Etna. Good base for various excursions. Good amenities with a pool bar, restaurant, table tennis, foosball and bicycles. A few suggestions for improvement: the pool cleaning could be more frequent. At the end of our stay there were many hairs, leaves and insects in the water on several days. At breakfast more variety would be desirable, for example different cakes, not the same every day, or different types of cold cuts. There is a bit of everything, but it is the same every day. After several days this becomes a bit boring. There should be a warning about the free-roaming dogs among the trees.

Wonderful location with a great view, very friendly staff, comfortable beds. Nice pool and the entire property is very well maintained. Unfortunately the eggs and bacon at breakfast were already cold shortly after 9 a.m., and the coffee was already gone. Unfortunately no cappuccino.

At the end of our 4-week Sicily tour, we found a paradise. A beautiful property in pristine nature with lovely flowers amidst a lemon grove. Denise and her staff members created a wonderful conclusion to our vacation, making the farewell from Sicily even harder. Galea is an excellent place to relax, but also offers diverse opportunities to explore the surroundings, such as Etna, Taormina, Catania, etc. Denise is happy to help plan tours and book with the organizers. On our next trip to Sicily, we will definitely spend some more days in Galea.

From the 18th to the 25th of October 2020, we spent a great week of vacation in eastern Sicily. The agriturismo was our base for excursions to Mount Etna, Taormina, Catania, Syracuse, and Ragusa. The property is surrounded by a beautiful citrus grove, the room essential but very clean. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. All the staff was extremely kind. We also want to mention the perfect management of the holiday bonus that we used. Definitely worth returning.

Beautiful rustic structure, very well renovated. Our room was very spacious, as well as the bathroom. Very wide and rich breakfast, dinner (all at km 0) very good. They also sell typical products, made by them. The managers and staff were very kind and professional. Only small negative point: there was no place to put the shampoo in the shower. Everything else perfect!

With my husband, we spent 3 days at the beautiful Agriturismo Galea. A perfect location to spend days immersed in the greenery, intoxicated by the scent of the lemon grove. The room was very large and bright, high ceiling, excellent cleanliness. In the shower box, a shelf was missing to put the shampoo, I would have found it very useful considering the comfort that the room offered. Abundant breakfast, from sweet to savory. Genuine food characterized by excellent quality seasonal products. Kind staff and attentive to details, we felt very pampered. Thank you for the hospitality, we will definitely meet again.

The farmhouse is nestled in the greenery of a wonderful citrus grove with a view of Mount Etna and very close to the sea. Bicycles and a pool are available to guests, a private table with an umbrella in front of each room where you can relax in peace. The staff is very helpful and kind. The structure is very well maintained and welcoming. Dining on the terrace surrounded by greenery is a plus, especially when the cuisine is simple, genuine, and tasty. Staying at Agriturismo Galea is a must!

Welcoming structure immersed in a large lemon grove at the foot of Mount Etna and with a view of beautiful Taormina. Friendly and helpful staff, as well as the attentive owner to the needs of the customers. It is worth noting the availability and kindness of Daniela, always ready to satisfy our daughter's desires. Very comfortable rooms with outdoor space for further relaxation. Bikes available even for children who can have fun in the dedicated playground. The pool is clean and surrounded by a super well-kept lawn. Pleasant the possibility of having lunch at the poolside kiosk. Super abundant breakfast with fresh products, cakes, pies, and cookies all made by them. Definitely worth coming back.
