Our family-run B&B, founded in May 2016, is located on the second floor. From the balconies of the rooms, you can enjoy a splendid view of the enchanting and picturesque Bay of Mazzarò, and about 100 meters away is the natural reserve of Isola Bella, which will enchant you with its beauty. Our B&B is a perfect place for families or friends, romantic couples, or business trips. It is a dream vacation in a romantic and discreet environment for all those who are looking for peace and tranquility in close contact with nature. You will feel at home with us.
A Due Passi Dal Mare is a structure designed with taste, refinement, and love for attention to detail, an elegant and unique residence in the originality of its style. The rooms, each different from the others, are very spacious, colorful, and finely furnished. They are equipped with an extra-large double bed with hypoallergenic memory mattress, wardrobe, bedside tables, table or luggage rack, desk, mirror, chairs or armchairs, air conditioning with remote control, heating, and a 32" TV. In addition, they all have a private bathroom, spacious showers, hairdryers, and courtesy kits.
A Due Passi dal Mare offers its guests a refrigerated and heated environment, free Wi-Fi in every room, and the shared use of a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with a table, refrigerator, stove, oven, and 2 kettles, a coffee maker, 2 toasters, and utensils.

At less than 200 meters from A Due Passi dal Mare, you can visit a real earthly paradise: The Nature reserve of the Isola Bella. In 1890, the island was purchased by a rich English aristocrat, Lady Florence Trevelyan. Thanks to her passion for gardening and her pioneering experiments, she built a small house on the Island and planted exotic plants. Nowadays the Isola Bella is a fantastic mixture of Mediterranean scrub and rare exotic plants. Considered to be the “Pearl of the Ionian” is a place we suggest to visit.
Really close to our structure, there is the cable car every 15 minutes from 8:45 am to 1:00 am (Summer opening hours) which will take you to Taormina’s centre in just 3 minutes. Walking in the Corso Umberto, very famous for its streets and shops, you can visit the Ancient Theatre, the flagship of the city, the Naumachie, the Corvaja Palace, Ciampoli, Duchi di Santo Stefano, Badia Vecchia, and also the Parco Colonna - public gardens built by Lady Trevelyan.
At only 21.6 km the Alcantara natural park. At 6.1 km above Taormina you can visit the beautiful Castelmola, on the of the most beautiful village of Italy and at 4 km from our structure there are the beautiful beaches of Letojanni and Giardini-Naxos.
Not to be forgotten, there is the biggest active volcano in Europe: the Etna, one of the highest in the world, joined the world Heritage List of the Unesco in June 2013. The eruptions over the centuries have modified the surround landscape, making the typical sicilian mediterranean flora and fauna a very suggestive, almost “lunar”. There is a strong bound between Catania and the Etna: the volcano dominates and reshapes the landscape and the panoramic view that goes from the Ionian coast, the countryside, citrus groves, vineyards, chestnut and oak forests to the peak of the Etna, from which you can have a wonderful view of the Sicily until the Island of Malta.

We loved staying with Andrea and Maria! They made us feel so welcome. Andrea helped with the heavy luggage, many thanks for this!! The communication was excellent, the room was great and spotless. The location was absolutely fabulous. Great view from the window. The cable car that takes you up to Taormina is just around the corner. Wow, what a gorgeous place to stay! The view, location and the breakfasts were amazing! Maria goes over and above on her hospitality, picking us up at the train station. There are so many little extras that she provides. I would highly recommend this property.

The room we stayed in is gorgeous, very clean and private. The view over the wonderful bay from the balcony is amazing.
Also amazing was our host, Maria Grazia, who gave us so many great suggestions for local restaurants and activities when we arrived. And during our stay, she was very helpful, friendly, and attentive.
The cable car is just around the corner, which was helpful. We loved being so near the beach rather than up in Taormina. We spent some days at the beach and evenings in Taormina.
Breakfast was served in a location just over the road, lovely staff, typical continental style buffet but a great choice, again great views over the bay plus lovely staff.
After a beautiful 7-day stay in Mazzarò/Taormina, I would love to go back, and A Due Passi dal Mare is the only place I would stay!

Beautiful room with a beautiful view and a new adjoining bathroom. I wish we had more time. A few minutes walk from the cable car. Several restaurants nearby. A 3-minute walk to the beach or 10 minutes to the famous Isola Bella beach. Great central location. We were also able to borrow a beach umbrella, a float, or beach shoes. Thank you.

Excellent location, magnificent view. Perfect welcome from the owners with little welcome gifts. Very clean room, good equipment. Very comfortable bed. Only one point to review: the breakfast, even though it is nearby with a magnificent view of the bay, the quality is not up to the place and the welcome. Despite this, I highly recommend.

Spectacular location, right above the bay of Mazzarò and a stone's throw from the cable car station to Taormina. Great structure, the location is beautiful both in relation to the beach and the center of Taormina! Maria Grazia, who provided valuable information for visiting the places and the gastronomic resources of Taormina, was very kind and friendly. We stayed only two nights and it was a real shame because the structure, the location, and the owners deserve much more. Our triple room for two adults and a girl was beautiful and new, very spacious, with two separate areas for the double and single beds, a very large bathroom with a comfortable shower, and a balcony with a wonderful sea view. Upon our arrival, the owners welcomed us with great hospitality and kindness, even finding the fridge stocked with water, tea, and a prosecco as well as some chips for the child offered by them. Furthermore, the landlady gave us some very welcome advice on where to go to the sea and where to eat well. In the morning, breakfast was served in a nearby place where the property was located, serving us an excellent breakfast consisting of orange juice, water, small sandwiches, a plain croissant, a slice of cake, jams and butter, Nutella, and cappuccino and coffee. All strictly served at the table in full compliance with COVID regulations. I must say that our stay in this structure can only deserve a nice 10 because the cleanliness, the kindness, the beautiful rooms, and how much the owners care about their business must reward them. We will return and recommend the property to everyone.

Fresh property, tastefully furnished, managed and cared for on a daily basis directly by the owners. Located in Mazzarò, a stone's throw from the cable car to Taormina and the urban and touristic bus. There is also a stop for intercity buses but few stop there. Always in the immediate vicinity is the beach (equipped or free) of Mazzarò. Isola Bella is a 5-minute walk away. There are at least three good quality restaurants in the area (+ others quite decent). Our room (blue suite) can comfortably accommodate 3 people. Beautiful panorama from the window with a special mention for the sunrise seen directly from the bed. The owners have been courteous, attentive, helpful, never intrusive.

An extraordinary location, a breathtaking view, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Unfortunately, only the bathrooms are rather small for technical reasons. The property, equipped with all the comforts and furnished with personality and attention to details, is strategically located for access to the beaches and the cable car that connects them to Taormina. The cleanliness is of the highest standard. The breakfast, varied and complete, continental style, is provided at the adjacent 'Baia Azzurrà Hotel (4 stars). Guests also have access to a large equipped kitchen, which, besides being quite 'practical', makes the stay here even more 'family-friendly and comfortable. The added value of this B&B is certainly represented by the warmth, enthusiasm, and quality of the welcome from Maria Grazia and Andrea, who made us feel truly 'at home'.

Very beautiful, new room with a fantastic view of the bay of Mazzarò. Good location, close to the cable car that leads directly to the center of Taormina. Easily reachable on foot the Isola Bella beach. Useful for a quick lunch, the kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for guests. Owners are kind and available to provide all the information. Varied breakfast at the hotel adjacent to the property. Conventional parking available nearby.

Very well-kept rooms, kind and caring managers, full of advice, spectacular view from the room, excellent location near the cable car so you can go up to the center without moving the car, on foot you can reach beautiful island. The only downside is the heavy traffic when you go out but since you go out in the morning and come back in the evening the inconvenience is minimal.

Everything was great, except for the breakfast that took place at the Baia Azzurra hotel next door: breakfast with machine or packaged products, sea view obscured by the curtains lowered for the sun, with such a view I would have let all the sun in. Obviously, how breakfast is organized at the hotel is not the B&B's responsibility, but I would recommend finding other affiliated structures, even bars if necessary, where breakfast can be fresh.

In merito alla colazione, invece, ho provato a contattarla per avere maggiori spiegazioni o delucidazioni in merito in quanto finora i nostri clienti si son solo ampiamente complimentati. La nostra colazione è composta da salato e dolce. Salumi, insaccati, formaggi, uova, wurstel con pomodoro, tartine, crostate, plum-cake, pasticceria con crema di ricotta cioccolato, cornetti, biscotti, alimenti senza glutine e tanto altro ancora, oltre alle fette biscottate e marmellate confezionate di cui scrive. Per questo motivo desideravo sapere esattamente cosa per lei non fosse andato bene. Forse avete fatto colazione oltre l'orario previsto, ma comunque noi tutti siamo qui per servirvi e per rendere ogni attimo, della vostra vacanza, indimenticabile. Sarebbe bastato chiedere se desideravate qualcosa in particolare. Riguardo alle tende abbassate per il sole, quella è un'accortezza adottata bonariamente nei confronti dei clienti ma credo che sarebbe bastato anche qui chiedere di alzarle per poter godere della vista mare anche a colazione. I stayed with my husband for one night at this B&B and we were very satisfied with both the accommodation and the hospitality of the owners who made themselves available to meet all our requests. Our room, the blue suite, had a balcony with an exceptional sea view, was very clean, tastefully furnished, with new furniture. The location of the B&B is very convenient as it is a stone's throw from both the beautiful beach of Mazzarò and the stunning beach of Isola bella, as well as the cable car to Taormina. Nearby there is a private parking lot (10 euros per day) where we left the car on arrival and picked it up on departure. Definitely recommendable!
