Driven mainly by the desire to live and share a house with open spaces and a garden, as well as with friends and family, and why not, by hosting and welcoming people from all over the world, a successful career was achieved. This led to the idea of starting a B&B, first by renovating and bringing the house up to standard with all the comforts, and then by choosing a name. The house number is 42, it is a villa by the sea, hence "marina", and in tribute to Marina, a dear foreign friend who had spent a few days with me, it became Villamarina42.

Fabrizio, the host, was amazing, so kind and sweet and thoughtful about our well-being. My (vegan) girlfriend had her birthday during our stay and he arranged vegan Nutella, a vegan birthday cake, soy milk, soy yoghurt. We felt really taken care of. The room was very beautiful, exceptionally clean and with nice views of the beautiful neighbourhood. The beds were great too. There is a fridge where you can keep your food. Having a car is recommended, there is a beach in walking distance but many more to discover around.

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Villamarina42. The property is very modern and beautifully designed. Our room had a cozy balcony with a nice view, and we loved spending some time there in the mornings and evenings. There is a communal kitchen with assigned shelf space in the fridge so you can store some groceries and a continuous supply of bottled water at no extra cost. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also available for free, which makes a trip to the beach hassle-free. The beach is very closeby and easily reached on foot. Cagliari can be reached by bus in approximately 45 minutes, and it is only a very short walk to the bus stop. Fabrizio and Laura are great and personable hosts who go out of their way to make you comfortable. If we visit the area again, we will be sure to stay at B&B Villamarina42 once more.
