Description

TerreMesu is the realisation of our big dream: to live in contact with the land and its resources. It was not easy to leave the city, family and friends; to start over, starting with building a house. They were complicated years, full of adventures and true friendships. It has been an ongoing challenge that has changed us and really taught us the value of small and simple things. And we like to share this experience with you.

TerreMesu is located in the valley of Monte Porceddus, on the border with Castiadas, just a few minutes away from wonderful, still uncrowded beaches and services such as restaurants, markets, etc. It is composed of Soliana, Janas and Assola, adjacent to each other, evoking the charm of old country cottages, offering the comfort of a modern construction, built on the principles of Feng Shui and bio-building. The choice of primary materials such as cork, wood and stone is the result of careful selection, for maximum respect of the ecosystem. We have invested heavily in an efficient photovoltaic system. The result is a cosy and very comfortable setting, aesthetically, functionally and climatically. The swimming pool and the wooden relaxation gazebo, in the lawn adjacent to the houses, will provide you with moments of absolute well-being, offering a convenient alternative to the many enchanting beaches that our area has to offer.

There is no breakfast service, but you will find everything you need to organise this time of day yourself.

In the outdoor kitchen, next to the Assola Room, there is a refrigerator and a kitchenette with dishes, moka, sugar, tea/coffee, small jams and rusks, salt, oil and vinegar. You can also prepare quick meals to be eaten in the loggia with the arches and enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.

TerreMesu is the realization of a dream.

After a life lived locked up in the monotonous and stressful rhythms of the city, between home and work, without time for the children or for ourselves, emptied of energy and enthusiasm, we began to dream of living in a place that would give us back a dimension human, immersed in the cycle of the seasons, in contact with the essential: the earth. It was a long search but in the end we recognized and conquered our place: TerreMesu.

We started from scratch, with a lot of work to do and our house began to take shape in our imagination and to realize it we are committed to a long search for the best architectural solutions and the most suitable materials for a healthy, comfortable and comfortable construction. And today we are very proud to share with you TerreMesu, this magical place that we love so much.

TerreMesu is a large country house, just a 15 minute drive from the sea, and pristine and still wild beaches, ensuring relaxation and comfort in an oasis of peace, silence and nature. Nearby (within 10/15 minutes by car) are available Market, Bar, Pharmacy, Hospital, Bank and Post Office, Restaurants and Pizzerias and places of tourist attraction such as Costa Rei or Villasimius.

Located about 60 km from the city of Cagliari and its airport and from places of environmental and gastronomic and enogastronomic interest. We will be delighted to support your interests by indicating sites that meet your interests.

Highly recommended accommodation. Both Paolo and Sandra are charming and attentive hosts. Recommended for the areas to spend the day (beach) as well as for the traditional restaurants in the area. Regarding the location, very close, 15-20 minutes from magnificent beaches. The accommodation meets all needs, offering comfort and a home-like feeling. We hope to be able to return in the future. Terremesu is an idyllic accommodation located amidst olive groves and vineyards, where one can truly find peace. The farm is particularly suitable for guests who love animals, as there lives a large and very affectionate shepherd dog, two friendly cats, a rooster, and chickens. There are several nice seating areas outside for any weather. Sandra and Paolo are warm and experienced hosts, always approachable and have gone above and beyond to ensure we had a great time (for example, they made reservations for us at restaurants or lent us a beach umbrella). Our room, Assola, has a rustic charm, the furnishings are made of old, well-preserved wooden furniture, and great care was taken with the naturalness of the building materials. The bathroom, especially the shower, is a bit dated, but overall it is clean. A private kitchen was not included with the room, but we were able to use the communal kitchen at any time. We can recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for peace and relaxation in nature in a special place. We had a wonderful time there!
