In the southernmost part of Sardinia, at the foot of the lagoon of Sant'Antioco, surrounded by ancient pine trees and dense Mediterranean vegetation, lies the small village of Matzaccara.
Matzaccara is a hamlet of San Giovanni Suergiu in the Carbonia-Iglesias province.
We have invested with great attention to relaxation and rest, in fact all beds and mattresses are of excellent quality.
Breakfast is another strong point because in addition to being abundant and genuine, it is prepared by our own hands.
The B&B consists of 2 double bedrooms with the possibility of adding a bed or a cot for children, 1 bathroom, a rustic kitchen, a living room and the garden where in summer, for those who wish, breakfast can be enjoyed under shady trees.

We prepare different types of bread for breakfast (bread with ricotta cheese, bread with walnuts, bread with milk and honey), sweet baked goods in a wood-fired oven and an infinite variety of jams and preserves.
Milk, tea, coffee, fruit juices and seasonal fruits are also served.

Hello, my name is Paola. I have been running my B&B for more than ten years.
The B&B is called SU MATUTZU.
I chose this name for two reasons:
Firstly, because it is my husband‘s surname and thus the name of the whole family who all help me in
running the B&B.
Secondly, because in the Sardinian language it is the name for watercress, a tasty plant growing wild
in the runnels of spring water and used for salads.
For breakfast we serve:
Various sorts of bread (ricotta bread, nut bread, milk-and-honey bread), sweet pastries baked in a
wood-fired oven and a wide variety of marmelades and jams. In addition there is milk, coffee, tea,
fruit juices and seasonal fruits.

I was very satisfied with the structure where I stayed, with the availability and hospitality of Mrs. Marina and her parents who were kind and helpful. Nothing to complain about regarding the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Highly recommended for kite surfers as it is very close to Punta Trettu, and also to reach any other seaside location as beautiful beaches can be reached with just a few km. I will definitely refer to this B&B next year as well. Highly recommended.

Luca and I had a very pleasant vacation there. With exquisite education, in a very pleasant environment given the numerous plants in the garden, Paola, her husband, and her daughter treated us with love and attention, also going along with our joke of mischievous Tuscans.
