Description

Located in the province of Oristano, in the picturesque rural village of Riola Sardo, this farmhouse is situated just a short distance from the sea and offers accommodations in a renovated old chicken coop. The simple and welcoming atmosphere makes it the ideal place for those who wish to spend a relaxing vacation in an atmosphere of serene cordiality.

The farmhouse consists of two separate buildings overlooking a green lawn. The first, built with ancient sandstone blocks, is the former chicken coop, which has been transformed into comfortable rooms with private bathrooms. The rooms, with wooden roofs, are equipped with everything necessary for even extended stays. The second building, which serves as the main residence, also houses a small restaurant and a charming porch, much appreciated by guests looking for relaxation.

In the garden, there is a centuries-old olive tree, a grafted olive tree, a basalt millstone, and some ancient jars, which testify to the different stages of olive oil production that the family has been dedicated to since the 19th century.

Andrea is an experienced, attentive host who knows his craft perfectly. It was very pleasant to chat with him. Interesting structure located in a village at the center of everything. In less than 20 minutes, you can find anything you might want. Very quiet place and well-structured. Good state of preservation and well-organized accommodation. Highly recommended.

Cozy structure, in a quiet area and convenient to reach beaches and surrounding locations. Excellent welcome and availability from Andrea, the owner. We stayed for a week with half board, the menu was varied, with excellent dishes and generous portions. Special mention to Cristina, the cook. Highly recommended.

In this establishment, strategically located to easily visit the sea, culture and tradition of central-western Sardinia, we spent 10 unforgettable days, also thanks to the presence of the discreet but very hospitable host Andrea, always available to meet our information requests and to share his knowledge of local traditions with us, in all fields including culinary.\n\nThe room where we stayed is equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom with window, large window with mosquito net and a nice terrace, very comfortable at the end of a day at the sea.\n\nThe breakfast is excellent and varied: milk, coffee, tea, Sardinian ricotta, Sardinian ladyfingers, yogurt, corn-flakes, croissants, rusks, butter, fresh bread, fruit, Nutella, honey but above all the fantastic homemade orange and lemon jams made by Andrea himself: a real delicacy.\nWe also tried his excellent cuisine, enjoying dinner recipes from old local traditions.\n\nWe will return soon to deepen our knowledge of these magical places and stay again with Andrea, who made us feel at home and remained in our hearts.\n\nThank you,\nSalvatore and Maria Sabrina\nFrosinone.

Excellent welcome at Su Lau, a structure with a lot of charm and an excellent host, discreet, available and very generous. The evenings in company after a dinner not to be missed absolutely on the veranda with chats and liquors are beautiful. The attention given to promoting local products is also very appreciated.
