Description

Situated at 2 km from the sea, this B&B boasts a location in a new, two floor, south-pointing building, along Temo river, downhill of the medieval village called “Sacosta”, where still stands the Castle of Malaspina (XII century).

The house is characterized by a very relaxing atmosphere, there is WiFi Internet connection, and parking possibility. There are 3 double rooms, of which 2 with private bathroom. Sa Domo ‘e Madalena, situated near the historical center, will give you useful information to visit the city, do your shopping in typical, handcraft stores and enjoy your time in Bosa.

The town of Bosa has much more to offer, along with its ancient monuments and museums. Some examples? Tasteful, gastronomical stops in its characteristic taverns and inns where you can enjoy local specialties of the Region. Now, what about the sea? The main beaches can be easily reached within 2 km from the B&B. The coast is rich of numerous small bays and coves of unparalleled beauty. Just don’t forget to visit the interland. Be ready for breathtaking views!

1500 meters from the sea, hospitality in a newly built house on two floors, facing south, on the Temo river, next to the medieval village of Sa Costa dominated by the Malaspina castle (XII century).

The house has all the air-conditioned rooms, has internet connection. Three double rooms are available to guests, one of which has a private bathroom.

Sa Domo and Madalena, being close to the historic center, offers the possibility of a convenient city tour where you can shop in craft, gold and textile shops.

In addition to the presence of ancient monuments, the city of Bosa offers a pleasant gastronomic stop in its characteristic taverns and trattorias in which to taste the local specialties and the island.

The main beach is about 1500 m from the B&B.

The coast is full of numerous coves and coves of unparalleled beauty, where the sea retains all its charm. The landscape of the interior is full of magnificent views.

We had a wonderful time at Maddalena’s. We enjoyed the view from our little balcony of Bosa Castle as well as Maddalena’s excellent breakfast! Maddalena was extremely kind; she tried to fulfill all our wishes and gave us many helpful recommendations for the area around Bosa. Mille grazie! You should know that the Wi-Fi connection was spotty and not reliable.

What can I say, a place in a strategic location, a few steps from the center. Very clean rooms. Fantastic breakfast, with bread made by the lady and the delicious jams always made by her. Always very helpful and very engaging in conversations. Quiet place, with parking available outside the property. Very reasonable price. It will certainly be a 'see you again'. Thank you.

Normally we do not give the highest scores because we believe there is always room for improvement (it also applies to us). Instead, in this case we could not have done more. Everything was perfect! In particular, we compliment, besides the numerous suggestions received, the beds that - something more unique than rare in accommodation facilities - were as comfortable as those at home. Madalena is a wonderful and welcoming host. We had great conversations even though we don’t speak a common language. The place is spacious, clean, and ideally located just outside the lovely old town of Bosa. Breakfast was a real bonus and parking was easy.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at the accommodation in Bosa with the lovely Madalena. Just as described, the accommodation is only a few steps away from the old town. The room and private bathroom were very clean and the air conditioning provided a comfortable temperature. Madalena prepared a delicious breakfast for us every day with regional, homemade products (although only sweet breakfast). Madalena is a very attentive, loving host who could also give us many tips on what to visit in and around Bosa.

I stayed at the 'Sa Domo e Madalena' last summer and it was a pleasant surprise. We stayed in the room with a private bathroom, comfortable and clean. Abundant breakfast with homemade products by Mrs. Maddalena. The owner is helpful and kind, giving many tips on where to eat and what to visit, showing a deep knowledge and love for the area. We will return to stay with her in March for the Bosano carnival as recommended by Maddalena herself.

Madalena was a very pleasant and welcoming host. She does not speak French or English but we managed to understand each other without any problems. The breakfast is plentiful and very good. Unfortunately, the wi-fi was not accessible in the room but it allowed us to take a break.

From Mrs. Marilena we had a very good time; discreet and very kind person. The bathroom was shared with another room, but we had been correctly informed about this. Excellent breakfast (delicious homemade bread as well as jams) with espresso coffee. Her dinner recommendation was perfect; we spent a pleasant evening by the river admiring a beautiful sunset and enjoying the street food from the kiosk. Bosa is a beautiful town and if we were to visit it again, we would definitely return to Maddalena, whom we greet!

We spent four nights at the end of September at Maddalena's B&B. The house is not directly located in the historic center of Bosa, but practically next to it. The location is very good. Our room was rather small, but that's not a problem since you're there mainly to sleep. We noticed that at night, with the window open, it was quite noisy (barking dogs), although this is not really within Maddalena's control. Maddalena is a very friendly person. It's just a shame she doesn't speak English. Since we also don't know Italian, communication was rather difficult and limited to the essentials.

The B&B looks exactly as in the photos and was very clean. It is located just outside the city centre, a mere minutes walk, but quiet at night. Our room had an ensuite bathroom and balcony with river views. Maddalena is a very inviting and warm host, and she provided a lot of information about Bosa and places to eat. Breakfast was also wonderful, with a lot of spreads, honey, toasts and bread, yoghurt, muesli, pastries and coffee of course! Highly recommended!

Just a few steps from the most important street (Corso Vittorio Emanuele), reachable on foot, located in a brand new structure with all comforts. We stayed in a large double room with an en-suite bathroom, very clean. Breakfast is included with a variety of choices from cookies to homemade jam to milk and many other things. Also, a lot of courtesy from the owner, Mrs. Maddalena. Truly a nice place recommended for those who want to spend a few days in tranquility.
