Thanks to its wonderful location, only a short walk from the beach and the town centre, Sa Cruxitta B&B is the optimal solution for every kind of?vacation. All the bright and cosy rooms have ensuite bathrooms and they are furnished with refined traditional elements. Our rich breakfast is prepared with care, using genuine local ?products and served outside in the garden, under a grapevine porch overlooking the sea. Free parking and wi-fi connection are available for our hosts.

For its strategic position, right in front of the islands of Sant’Antioco and San Pietro, Portoscuso is the perfect base to experience the charm of an untouched area of Southern Sardinia, still unknown to mass tourism. Sulcis Iglesiente is a region still ruled by powerful and savage nature, featuring wind-moulded beaches, high cliffs and a crystal-clear sea, and also important archaeological and mining sites: perfect for a relaxing holiday during all seasons.

For us, the breakfast is a pleasant and relaxing ritual to start the day. We serve it under the porch in front of the sea, with an ever-present background music. You can choose sweet or savory breakfast, every day we offer fresh and local products: bread, croissants, typical Sardinian sweets, homemade jams and cakes or fresh bread, ham, cheese, eggs and olives.

All accompanied by coffee, tea and juices.

I'm Carmen, for years I’ve been managing the B&B Sa Cruxitta. We love to welcome our guests with a smile and make them feel at home. We take care of the cleanliness of the rooms and the garden, and pamper our guests with cakes and jams made with our own hands! We try to be available to meet the needs of everyone, and over the years we have collected tips and itineraries to suit all tastes. Since there was a double booking problem, Carmen found me a place from a nearby colleague, where I was treated with extreme kindness. I found a beautiful view, a clean and well-kept house, and a very rich and varied breakfast with fresh products. I cannot give an opinion for this structure where I have not been, but I am fully satisfied with the alternative solution, for which I give my "ratings". Thank you.

The B&B is truly beautiful! Excellent location facing the sea and close to the center. Parking is available on the street. Breakfast is TOP (every day a different homemade dessert, fresh fruit, bread, pastries, hot drinks, and orange juice; the staff is always ready and attentive to fulfill personalized requests) served under a pergola covered with a vine. There are relaxing areas both indoors and outdoors. At the back, there is a sink available for laundry and everything needed for hanging clothes; for a fee, it is possible to use the washing machine. Incredible hospitality: Ms. Carmen and Nenna are sunny, smiling, and very kind people. The owner knows the area and the whole region deeply and is ready to provide a lot of useful information, but most importantly, she is extremely empathetic, and it feels natural to connect with her. We had a wonderful time and do not rule out returning as soon as possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast and we were enchanted. The location is taken care of in every detail, magnificent view of the port, all clean, tidy, and tasteful. Abundant breakfasts with delicious pastries, croissants, and fantastic jams. My partner and I were guests of Mrs. Carmen, a friendly woman attentive to our every need, for 10 days. Our experience was more than positive. The structure is very beautiful, the rooms are large and clean, the smile and courtesy of Mrs. Nenna in the morning during a delicious breakfast, varied, served under a pergola, are priceless. Sad to have left and no longer be pampered by a couple of outstanding women, book with your eyes closed!

Very beautiful and tidy house, close to the port and the town center, but in a very quiet location, within a short walk from the cove and the beautiful beach of Portopaletto. Maximum courtesy and friendliness of the owner, Mrs. Carmen, from the first contacts for booking: she then gave us a lot of tips on places to visit, restaurants and beaches, and, last but not least, excellent Lena's cakes for breakfast.

It was a very nice holiday. The hostesses were very friendly and familiar. They could provide information and tips on everything. The breakfast was different every day and always very fresh (bread, fruit, meat, cheese). We always looked forward to it. The table adorned with fresh flowers. Everything very clean and cozy. Well, what can I say about 'Sa Cruxitta', a magnificent little place overlooking a romantic and quiet harbor, furnished with great taste but above all managed by a fantastic woman, Carmen. Very kind, generous with good advice and smiles (as well as excellent myrtle!). And what about Nenna's fantastic and cuddly breakfasts, attentive and always available, in a meticulously cared for garden where that gentle breeze always blows that I won't forget. This place has stayed in my heart, I hope to return soon and I can only recommend it! I gave all 10 only because it was not possible to give more! Best regards.

We had a wonderful stay at 'Sa Cruxitta'. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the decor, the space, the bedding, the quality of the breakfast, the courtyard where breakfast is served, the helpful advice from our hosts, and the great kindness of Carmen and Valentina. There is no air conditioning, and this worried us a bit, given the summer heat, but in the end, the house is well ventilated, and the presence of a fan was enough to cool off and ensure a good night's sleep. Nothing to say except that we just want to come back. We spent a day on the island of San Pietro (the boarding port is really close by), a very beautiful discovery, full of charm! Sardinia is magnificent, and we will definitely return.

What can I say? It feels like being at home in the sense of "with family". The B&B is spectacular, spotless, and the management is impeccable. Breakfast is forbidden for diets, and Portoscuso is a welcoming and quiet little village, at least during the period I visited. Rating 10, because I can't give more! I will come back!
