I had an exquisite stay. Andrea and Angello are very friendly people who always listened to me for advice on all the visits I wanted to do (beaches and archaeological sites). Breakfast and dinner plentiful.

Rarely have we felt so comfortable as in this place: Very friendly welcome, beautiful room with terrace, very pleasant assistance! In addition, there was the possibility to join the dinner. That was prepared with great care, abundant and extremely tasty. We would recommend it anytime!

The location of Rifugio Gorropu is incredibly beautiful. The mountains on one side and the sea on the other, a dream. The accommodation itself is very nice, everything is in great condition, clean and you can really feel comfortable. We also booked half board and the food is very good and plentiful. The breakfast is absolutely fine for Sardinian standards. What bothered me a bit was the fact that our child (12 years old) was fully charged, especially for meals. I have never experienced this in Italy / Sardinia. Moreover, we were only informed after we had paid. I think it should be more transparent.

We particularly liked the large terrace with a splendid view of the mountains and valley. It was wonderful to relax there in the evening sun after a strenuous day of excursions.\n\nThis view could also be enjoyed from the restaurant through large windows. Breakfast was exceptional, with daily variations (savory and sweet) and all cakes, cookies, etc. homemade - all lovingly arranged. Dinner is a typical Sardinian menu,\nas it is also served in other agriturismos (fixed menu, not à la carte, meat-heavy), we had not booked it in advance as half board, but could do so if desired in the morning. It was tasty and homemade, but not extraordinary according to our taste.

Wonderful views from the property over the mountains. Perfect silence! Varied menus for dinner daily. Modern facilities. Good value, I would recommend people to stay here for convenience to local attractions (Dorgali, Cala Gonone etc.) and helpful staff.

Rifugio Gorropu is an elegant place, with a touch of a hotel. You will find many guests there in high season but their presence is not a burden, the rooms are private enough with space outside and a place to sit and watch the stars and the valley, the mountains. We enjoyed it very much, would definitely recommend for those who want to have fantastic views and a nice clean room. We would also like to thank all staff, particular thanks and big hello to Andrea and Maddalena from my family!

Very good stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The service, especially during breakfast and dinner, was exceptional. The breakfast is varied and the Sardinian menu for dinner is highly recommended, very rich and plentiful. The accommodation is well located and ideal for exploring the area.

Rifugio Gorropu is a very nice farmhouse in an excellent location near Cala Gonone and Dorgali, in the wonderful area of the Gennargentu. Its location is very close to various hiking trails, such as Gola di Gorropu, Monte Tiscali, Cala di Luna, etc. The owner, Angelo, is a warm and hospitable person, very helpful and service-minded. He helped us as much as possible when we had problems with our rental car. Thanks also to Stefano and Salvatore. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, and all products are homemade. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and the view is magnificent. We will definitely return to this spot.

Angelo, the owner, is a charm. He helped us a lot with a problem with the rental car. Otherwise, Rifugio Gorropu has an excellent kitchen and a dream location. It is on the small road towards the start of two spectacular hikes: Gola Gorropu and Tíscali. Also, the idyllic beaches of Cala Gonone and Cala Fuili are nearby (by car).

We spent 3 nights at the Rifugio Gorropu in mid-August. The structure offers breathtaking views of a landscape because, although it is just a few minutes from the city of Dorgali, it is immersed in greenery between the rock wall of the mountain and the countryside of the underlying valley. Hidden by the mountain, the sea can be reached in a few minutes. From here, one can also set off for excursions and trekking. The room was comfortable and clean, equipped with air conditioning. Abundant breakfast, both savory and sweet. It is worth noting the homemade products. We also tasted the typical menu for dinner; we would not know how to choose the best dish because all were excellent. Myrtle is absolutely to be tried. Being in contact with Angelo, the owner, and his family, one can immediately perceive that their work is primarily a sincere passion. They are kind and heartfelt. We will definitely return.

The welcome reserved for customers by Angelo, the manager of the Rifugio Gorropu, is exceptional. His friendliness and availability are unmatched. The food is undoubtedly excellent and abundant, enjoyed in front of a breathtaking view. I would return and recommend it to friends.
