Description

The Hotel is situated in a green natural amphitheatre of calcareous "heels" where the silence will accompany your holiday in a total relax. Thanks to the position it is possible to reach easily some beautiful resorts: Ulassai, famous centre for its grottos "de Su Marmuri" visitable from April to October, considered among the most beautiful and higher of Sardinia and Europe. The sea is far 20 Km, with the beautiful beaches of Marina di Gairo and Cardedu. Not far from the B&B there are beautiful and well-known resorts like Arbatax, Santa Maria Navarrese: from their ports you can do tour by boat which take in several beaches and coves in the east coast like Cala Goloritzè, Cala Luna and Cala Gonone.

We spent one night at Rifugio d'Ogliastra and we had a wonderful time. From the welcome to breakfast we felt at home. We dined at the restaurant: delicious local dishes cooked with love. The host and the staff are fantastic people, ready to accommodate specific needs. Special mention to the room: clean, simple and comfortable, with a view of the mountains, where peace and quiet prevail. Finally, the breakfast was plentiful and very good; it's a pity we stayed only one night.

Very quiet place with a good quality-price ratio. Clean linen, but it would not hurt to update the mattresses and pillows that are dated, as well as the blankets: a comforter would be more appreciated! In any case, I would go back.

The structure is really beautiful and the owner is really kind and helpful. The structure would need a bit of maintenance and also an air conditioning system, although being in the mountains the temperatures are acceptable. The only serious problem is the mattress, still spring and not up to standard. However, we will definitely return, maybe asking for a room with more efficient mattresses.

The geographical location of the hotel is magnificent, in the middle of a huge forest, with a breathtaking view. However, the hotel seems to have been left in abandonment. We booked for two nights, but we stayed one night because the rooms were dirty. What a shame for such a place.

The location is fantastic, surrounded by greenery and just a few kilometers from Jerzu and Ulassai. The structure is a bit old but very clean and there is an excellent value for money. The restaurant serves very good food, and the waiters are very kind. The only 'small big' flaw was the lack of air conditioning on days when temperatures exceeded 40 degrees. We commented on this to the manager during checkout and he dismissed us saying that he was not the owner and that, anyway, the temperature would drop in the following days. Mah.

We had a great time, beautiful place. The location is fantastic, and I appreciated the idea of the mini two-room apartments with independent entrances! The atmosphere is welcoming just like the decor! We stayed only one night on half board and we had a great time both at dinner and at breakfast! Great for hikers and nature lovers.
