Description

The bed&breakfast Pessighette Country Retreat is a recently renovated thirties style house, surrounded by four acres of olive groves and vineyards.

It is situated in the green valley of Modolo, well known for the Malvasia of Bosa DOC wine. The beaches of Turas and Bosa Marina are only a couple of miles away, while the picturesque town of Bosa is less than four miles far. The area of Alghero and the beautiful beaches of Oristano are reachable in one hour's driving.

For our guests we have three cosy rooms, carefully studied in every detail. Each of them has its own private bathroom with bathtube or shower, wi-fi and wire free internet connection, satellite tv, air conditioned/heating, minifridge, and a private balcony with a view overlooking the garden, olive groves and vineyard. One of them, the Green Room, is a proper double room, the second one (the Lilac Room) is a triple room, the last one (the Cream Room) can host a family of four people.

We are at our guests’ disposal for tips and suggestions about what to see, what to do, where to eat, …
The basic treatment is the bed and breakfast accomodation, but a bottle of our red wine is always available for our guests! Besides, during summertime, it is also possibile to taste local products, in the aperitif or dinner formula (if interested, book them in advance!)
The bed&breakfast Pessighette Country Retreat is the perfect answer if you look for a relaxing place with a warm, cosy and familiar atmosphere.

Aldo and Claudia are kind people. We stayed at their property for a few days. Breakfast was homemade with seasonal, high-quality products. The area is peaceful with a swimming pool, set among vineyards and olive trees, and the location is strategic for sightseeing and recharging your batteries. The value for money is excellent. If you plan to visit this area at any time of year, this property is a guarantee.

Nice, clean and quietly located B&B run by very attentive and pleasant owners. Simple but good breakfast with freshly baked bread and pastries every day. Aldo who asks every morning what you're going to do and then always gives useful tips for the outing. Really a Top B&B.

We had a great time at Aldo and Claudia's quiet and cozy property among the vineyards. The breakfast was prepared with a lot of love and there was a wide selection of treats. Thanks to the good tips, we made wonderful excursions and hikes in the area. We felt completely pampered and it was an unforgettable time.

It feels like being at home in the countryside. The hosts are kind and caring. The dog is very nice. The breakfast is homemade and prepared by Claudia. Just after leaving, we wanted to return to them.

Aldo and Claudia were very kind and efficient in everything, especially in advising us on activities to do in the area! Everything is great! Great recommendations for restaurants as well. The hosts of Pessighette Dimora di Campagna are wonderful and have always made an effort to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The room was cleaned every day and towels and bed linens were changed after 3 days. We felt completely comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at Pessighette Country Retreat from July 21st to 28th, 2024: a charming place immersed in nature, where tranquility and serenity accompanied us throughout the stay. Impeccable cleanliness, amazing breakfasts thanks to Claudia's sweets and the rich buffet set up daily. Aldo is an exceptional connoisseur of the area and suggests places and beaches to discover. If we had to quantify it objectively and numerically... I would give it praise without hesitation! Thank you Claudia and Aldo!

The villa is located outside the city. Wonderful location. The rooms are quite new and in very good condition. There are only three guest rooms in the house. The hosts are very friendly. Breakfast is prepared very lovingly. Coffee is served at the table on the terrace. Wonderful. Thank you very much. We will come back.

A delightful country residence in an idyllic setting among vineyards and olive groves meticulously cared for by Aldo. Ideal for relaxing and also for visiting picturesque locations in the surroundings: Bosa, Cuglieri, Alghero, etc. The owners Claudia and Aldo carry out their activity with love and are always available and kind. The tasting they offer is tasty and pleasant with very good local products. Highly recommended!

The place is beautiful, nice and clean. In many ways perfectly located. BUT: Our stay was not very pleasant. The owner was angry and scolded us twice. First I looked into a small wooden house, thought it was part of the pool setup. It turned out to be his garage, so I spent 45 seconds looking at his Honda motorcycle. Did not touch anything. That offended him a lot! Secondly, we came back one night around 8:00 pm, nobody in the house except his big German dog. We took four plates and cutlery in the kitchen, eating our food outside, as it is stated on the website, that one can do. When the owner later saw that, he scolded my 75-year-old friend even more, saying we were his worst guests in 14 years! He even told me "I am not stupid, you can't see the bike from the outside." Which I never said, I was inside a garage for less than 2 minutes... By the way, the German Shepherd is a very friendly and nice dog. But it was obvious that not all guests liked having the large free-running dog interfering with their breakfast. But again, the place itself is nice and spotless, well suited for drives around the area. Hakon Redder.

Mr. Redder, I can tell you that you have been the worst and most rude guests we have had since we opened. You arrived 2 hours late at 10pm without bothering to notify. You were so tired you couldn't go out for something to eat but you messed up until midnight without respecting the other guests. You've poked your nose everywhere opening closed doors and poking around like kindergarten children. You did what you wanted to the point that you seemed to be the owners and us the guests ... and you even have the courage to complain !!!

Great welcome from Aldo and Claudia, in their beautiful house, on the side of the hill, among the vineyards and olive trees. Very good spot to go to Bosa or the surrounding beaches (everything is 10-15 minutes by car). We had a very good stay.

Claudia and Aldo are very kind and caring hosts. The rooms are very well equipped with a lot of attention to detail. The location is fantastic for people seeking peace. The nearest beaches are reachable by car at 2 or 5 km. Bosa, as a sweet city, is reachable by car in 5 minutes. Super new pool. Very well-kept house. Arrive and enjoy!
