Beschreibung

The B&B is located in the historic center of Cagliari, in the ancient neighborhood of Stampace, in a historical building. The square it overlooks is the perfect starting point for visiting the main tourist and cultural destinations of the city.

Surrounded by charming alleys full of artisan shops, trattorias, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, and nightclubs, it is also the starting point for the shopping street. The whole area is well served by public and private transport, with which you can easily reach the renowned Poetto beach (Gulf of Angels).

Our b&b is situated in Cagliari historical district, right in the heart of Stampace's neighborhood and its monuments.

The b&b is located next to Piazza Yenne Square, the ideal staring point for the city sightseeing tour, and a visit to its cultural and touristic locations.
The square lies in the center of Cagliari's most important shopping area, and it's surrended by suggestive narrow streets filled with craftman's shops, restaurants, pizzerias, ice-cream parlours, bookstores, churches and nightspots.

The area is well served by public (buses) and private (taxis) transportation; the P line bus stop to the Poetto Beach is within walking distance from the square and the b&b.

On May 1st. the b&b balconies are excellent spots to watch Sardinia's most famous festival: the Sagra of Saint Efisio.

Beautiful room - quite spacious, good shower. Facing the square - I thought it would be too noisy, but even with the window open I was far enough above the square for the noise to be reasonable. Snacks and drinks were available in another room. Breakfast was included and to be taken in one of two cafés underneath - one was a bit unfriendly, the other fine. Would definitely use again.

Very good welcome from the host,except that the balance had to be paid in cash. Accommodation very good and excellent location! You can do everything on foot and the bus stops are 5 minutes away. The airport is 10 minutes by train. Bottles of fresh water and fruit available all day. The only drawback is the breakfast which must be taken in one of the two bars next to the accommodation,because it only includes a croissant and a coffee,tea or cappuccino and a glass of water. The glass of orange juice is extra at €3.50… It could have been included. Otherwise,recommended accommodation for visiting Cagliari and its surroundings!

The room is comfortable, spacious and quiet. It overlooks an inner courtyard of a building with high stone arches and exposed beams. The exceptional location is the strength of the property. Recommended.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of the city center, everything at walking distance, train and bus stops at walking distance. The host is amazing and made us feel at home. We totally recommend!

We were really happy to have come here. The structure is fabulous, brand new and modern in all aspects. The comfort of the beds and especially the pillows is exceptional. Moreover, we found a delicious coffee and snack, not to mention the television in the living room and in front of the double bed. The private parking where my car was safely kept is also fantastic. I will definitely return for the Christmas holidays. I must also thank the owner, who was very kind and friendly towards us.

Great clean structure in the center, the only downside is not having the possibility to hang wet things (swimsuit, beach towel etc.) because the room only had the entrance door.

We stayed on vacation at this bed and breakfast, where we had a great time, like being with family. The welcome from Lucia and Franco was impeccable! They are very nice and cheerful. In the morning, the breakfast is plentiful, sweet and savory. The room is large and very clean, with mosquito nets on the windows and air conditioning. Also, they are always available for any request. Next year we will definitely return for our holidays in Salento. Go for it, Franco! Go for it, Lucia.

Beautiful, clean and meticulously cared for structure, equipped with all the comforts. Excellent location to reach the places of interest. Located in a quiet area with private parking. Host always available and very kind. We really enjoyed it, suitable for couples and families.

Beautiful structure with a part of the room carved into the living rock in a historic building with millennia-old archaeological stratifications (beneath the structure there is a Punic cistern). Very kind managers and a central structure. Excellent cleanliness. Breakfast in the bar immediately below but the structure offers the possibility to prepare hot drinks and provides water, fruit juices, and croissants. Everything perfect.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this property for a holiday in Cagliari. During the booking phase, Mrs. Franca was very kind in asking us if we would like to leave our luggage at her store while waiting for the room. In reality, the latter was already ready two hours before the check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. The room is cute and cozy, it smelled really nice when we first arrived. While there are no windows, there is a large French door that can be easily covered with two large curtains. We were quite comfortable also because there is the air conditioner available with which you can adjust the temperature. Unfortunately, the only two flaws are the fact that (this happened only one of the 6 days we stayed) we had wet towels (to be changed, but we would have waited until the next day without problems) and when we returned they were folded as if they had been changed, but in my opinion this way they smelled worse... then we found the toothbrushes all moved and our swimsuits on the floor, which in the morning were placed on the luggage rack. And the second thing, the musty smell that unfortunately could be felt... In the end, these are not big problems for us because we were very lucky to find this B&B; the value for money, in my opinion, is good. Besides that, we had a good time, the room is quiet, you don't hear the nightlife below at all. The affiliated breakfast is a nice idea, the bar is right next to the door, the choice of pastries is small, but it's really nice to have breakfast in the square. The property is practically in the center of Piazza Yenne and is easily reachable both on foot from the train station (about 5-10 minutes) and by bus. We were surprised when the square filled with people in the evening, there are really many bars, pizzerias, bars, in short, there is plenty of choice and it's all under the B&B. There is also a supermarket just a few steps away, in case you need something. The managers were all nice and kind, we also greatly appreciated the fact that Mrs. Franca's husband said he was happy to have us as guests, it made us very happy. Whether it's a short or long stay like this, we will definitely be happy to come back! Thank you.

Casa Madda is a place where everyone wants to stay, its excellent layout, good attention, kindness, make the stay wonderful days, where you can rest, enjoy the sea, discover the wonders that Sardinia offers. Madda and Peppino are great hosts, and the house is very comfortable and exquisite in all its details.

We publicly thank the wonderful treatment that the managers reserved for us: they welcomed us with great hospitality and made every effort to fulfill every request. As soon as they knew we needed to put the baby's milk in the fridge, they provided us with a personal refrigerator in the room! Already during the booking phase, they gave us a pleasant discount on the rate, and upon arrival we found the place (in the most central point possible in Cagliari: Piazza Yenne) truly beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Large room, with en-suite bathroom and all in Sardinian style. In the common room, there are minibars, microwave ovens, and a whole series of tourist maps available. In conclusion, a pleasant experience.
