La Tinaia is a historic farmhouse dating back to the late 1800s, renovated in the 90s, located about 3 Km from the sea, in the street of Magomadas and near the village of Bosa (OR). The location is unique in its kind, surrounded in a magnificent garden with vineyard, citrus grove, olive grove. A corner of paradise ideal to regenerate in complete silence and relax. The internal parking is free. Here you can eat for lunch and dinner or enjoy an aperitif at sunset. Our cuisine is mainly traditional Sardinian and fish, but on request we can make: Italian cuisine, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Prices vary depending on the season and the product served, our goal is to work with fresh local products, for this reason the prices will be communicated only after the chef has bought them.

The Turudas locality in the municipality of Magomadas is located a short distance from the sea. It has a particularly flourishing agriculture thanks to the very fertile soils. The most appreciated wine product is certainly the Malvasia di Bosa DOC.
A few steps from Modolo it is located in a splendid valley also known as the Malvasia Valley. Modolo is one of the smallest villages in Sardinia and, as evidenced by the archaeological bases of nuraghi, domus de janas and the remains of a Roman villa, it was inhabited since ancient times.
Between the scents of the Mediterranean scrub and the sea is Bosa, the only center of Sardinia built next to the estuary of the Temo river, the only navigable on the island. The ancient village (Sa Costa) is partly perched on the slopes of the Serravalle hill, on top of which is the castle of the same name, built by the Tuscan Malaspina family between the 12th and 13th centuries. On the Temo river there are still sas Conzas, the tannery where skins were worked. Bosa is part of its seaside hamlet: Bosa Marina protected by the Tower of Bosa, built on the Red Island in order to counter and discourage the incursions of the Saracens. The activity that the women of Bosa handed down on their doorstep is noteworthy: the filet. Even today you can see the women working the filet in the streets of Bosa, as well as Flussio, a small neighboring town famous for the baskets of Asfodelo, even here you can observe the women working the baskets in the streets of the town.

Last week in Sardinia, guests of Ilaria and Giovanni at their "Tinaia". Located in an extremely panoramic spot from which one can enjoy a magnificent sunset. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The varied breakfast is rich in typical products, and for foreigners, it is also international. Giovanni is an excellent cook and, if requested, he prepares great dishes, and for two evenings we took advantage of him! Our dog Blaster was loved and pampered, and we also had a great time! So... what to say... in Bosa... go there and you will feel great!

We had the most relaxing week of our lives. Giovanni and Ilaria were very welcoming and helpful. The property and the surroundings are stunning, everything is very well-kept and clean. Noteworthy is the special attention they showed after communicating a food intolerance. Highly recommended, we will definitely return.

A very beautiful quiet accommodation, we had the room on the ground floor with a nice terrace. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The service from the owners was perfect, always super nice. Additionally, you can get a typical Sardinian evening menu upon request. Everything was excellent for us!

We enjoyed the time at La Tinaia a lot. The view of our room was beautiful, room looks nice and it smells like warm wood. The hosts Ilaria and Giovanni are warm people and made us feel welcome and comfortable by sharing their humor and tips with us. We also enjoyed the dinner night a lot on the terrace - we felt like in the right place!

Beautiful, charming and romantic stay. For those who are looking for authentic, harmonious and natural tranquility. Highly recommended. The room facilities, the hospitality and the breakfast are of a high standard. There are not enough words in English or Italian to properly express how wonderful of a stay we had with Giovanni and Ilaria! Their home is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and in a fantastic location. Close to Bosa, the beach, and the road to Alghero. Giovanni and Ilaria are the most gracious, lovely hosts. They showed us true Sardinian hospitality! Our car broke down in Bosa and Giovanni saved the day. They are also just so kind, cool, and hilarious. We miss them!

La Tinaia is a place from which you would not want to leave and you hope to be able to return soon. Immersed in a wonderful valley, in a peace that cradles every moment, and a scent given by the beautiful countryside that cannot be forgotten. The Bed & Breakfast is lovingly cared for, very clean, and with large spaces where you can also walk. Ilaria and Giovanni are adorable and the breakfast is great! Adding the proximity to Bosa, a beautiful town that is cheerful and lively, and the splendid beaches, La Tinaia is a stop in Sardinia that must be made absolutely. 10 out of 10 for everything! We hope to return very soon.

It was a beautiful holiday thanks to the hospitality and kindness of the family-run property. We had an independent little house where everything was tidy and perfectly organized. Nothing was missing. The cleanings with towel change every 3/4 days, the breakfast essentials, the availability for any need, and above all, not to be underestimated and not so obvious, the kindness of Giovanni and Ilaria, to whom we have sincerely become attached in these 13 days. Moreover, the location is fantastic, the tranquility and the landscape setting, the proximity to the sea (in 5 minutes you arrive without parking problems and practically with the car on the beach), crystal clear water and above all, no crowding. The beaches and villages nearby are beautiful and easy to reach, and I recommend Tinnura where there are murals not to be missed. In short, everything perfect as on a holiday that rarely happens. Very beautiful structure with a magnificent terrace from which you can see a beautiful panorama, surrounded by lots of greenery and a lot of peace and tranquility. Katia and Patrizio. Very comfortable room even equipped with a topper (you sleep very well), good cleanliness. The owners Giovanni and Ilaria are very nice and helpful on everything. If you have the chance, eat dinner with them because the food is excellent. For us, it was 11 beautiful and relaxing days, we felt at home, we highly recommend this property!

The property is a dream! Amazing view, great breakfast, very caring hosts! In the evening, the whole house already smelled of freshly baked cakes. Very beautiful beaches in the area, reachable with a short drive. A place to feel good!

We were guests of Giovanni for the first time. We booked the Loft, a very spacious apartment with a complete kitchen and a bit away from the main house. The fridge was always stocked for us, we could also make requests. Giovanni is a great cook, definitely try the dinner as well. He also gave us tips for exploring the area. The B&B is located in a very quiet area, the whole property is very nicely landscaped. Our daughter also quickly made friends with the cat and dog, perfect. The B&B is very well located, in Bosa you're there in 5 minutes and the Sinis Peninsula is reachable in 1 hour, always with a car. We will definitely come back!

With my partner, at La Tinaia, we stayed for only one night (unfortunately). We were enveloped in a magical atmosphere immersed in the greenery of the Malvasia hills. Quiet place with a relaxing view and climate, in the evening we admired the sunset with beautiful colors. For dinner, we tasted local products that were nothing short of divine, but what struck us the most were the spaghetti with Malvasia sauce prepared by the owners Giovanni and Ilaria. An extraordinary dish that surely caters to the tastes of the most refined palates, it is a creation of the chef. Giovanni and Ilaria welcomed us with extreme kindness and a marked friendliness. The house reflects the personality of the couple, beautiful, welcoming, and tastefully decorated with simplicity. If you want to spend a vacation a few km from the sea in a quiet, well-kept, clean, and extremely relaxing place, with good food and good wine, I absolutely recommend this place!

La Tinaia is the ideal place to stay and move along the northwest coast of Sardinia. An oasis of relaxation just 10 minutes from the center of Bosa. A magical place surrounded by the greenery of the Malvasia valley. The view from the veranda is very beautiful and relaxing, having breakfast or enjoying the excellent dinners prepared by Giovanni is a real plus! The welcome from Ilaria and Giovanna was special. The structure is very beautiful and well maintained. The park is rich in vegetation and flowers and color. The owners are very kind and make you feel at home. The room is beautiful and the breakfast excellent. Only note: I found dinner a bit expensive. In agriturismos, usually, everything is included. Here instead, water, wine, and covers were counted. However, I feel like recommending it.

Fantastic accommodation. The location is unique, the view extends over the wide, green valley and the mountains behind. The birds are chirping. You can relax there comfortably or do a lot in the vicinity. The nearby beaches are great. And the hosts are super friendly. They take care of everything.

Spectacular location, immersed in greenery and only 10 minutes away from the historic center of Bosa. The structure is well-kept and clean, all the main services are available. I recommend having dinner at the property, you won't regret it. Definitely worth a second visit!

Hospitality and professionalism are the characteristics of the managers of this beautiful bed and breakfast. It is located in a green oasis 10 minutes from Bosa and close to various interesting and typical villages to visit. The quality of the room, cleanliness, and food is excellent, as well as the courtesy and availability of Giovanni and Ilaria. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in many bed and breakfasts and hotels, but I have never felt as good as in La Tinaia Country House Bed & Board in Modolo (OR). Everything beautiful and fulfilling, staff, landscape, location, food and hospitality. Seeing is believing.

Thanks to Giovanni, Ilaria, and their beautiful location, we really enjoyed our unfortunately brief holiday. We will definitely be in Sardinia again and it's worth a second stop!

I really couldn't say what's wrong. La Tinaia Country House Bed & Board is in a fantastic location, away from traffic and noise, a few kilometers from the sea but easy to reach. Peace and tranquility are guaranteed, at least until you have to deal with the very friendly Giovanni, who makes you feel at home. Perfect cleanliness and a plentiful and excellent breakfast make the stay pleasant in every aspect. Moreover, Giovanni is an excellent cook and will prepare delicious dinners for you to enjoy on the terrace. If you book, you won't regret it... In fact, tell them I sent you.

Welcoming and quiet place, immersed in the rugged and intriguing greenery of Sardinian nature, surrounded by flowers, fruit trees, olive trees, and vineyards. Beautiful panoramic terrace where you can have dinner in front of the sunset, relax and enjoy some coolness in the summer evenings, and equally nice to have breakfast in the morning. Comfortable rooms furnished with simplicity and original pieces. Clean and tidy bathrooms and linen. Friendly and hospitable host, made us feel at home as if we were in our own home and not in a strange place like in a hotel. For breakfast, we had a good variety of Sardinian sweets and homemade cakes, fruit and juice, coffee/cappuccino made on the spot. For dinner, he prepared truly surprising local recipes and dishes with wine pairings. All delicious! If we ever had to visit that part of Sardinia again, we would definitely return to La Tinaia, where we left a piece of our hearts...
