Description

La MeSenda is a refurbished stable converted into a unique country guest house. Inside, details, objects and tools convey a distinctive charm, one which revokes the primeval bond between man and nature. It is a place where one can take in the tranquillity of the surroundings and rejuvenate the spirit.

Each one of our rooms is distinguished by the name of a typical plant of the Gallura.

This not only helps with easy management of the rooms, but above all, it has allowed us to personalize each room with colours, objects and decorationsof the plant to which the room is dedicated.

All of the rooms have individual entrances that open to the surrounding garden.

If you pay close attention, you will notice that each room is distinguished by a different shrub or plant, to which the room gets its name.

La MeSenda Bed and Breakfast is located in the Gallura (the north-East region of Sardinia) in the Malchittu area (important archaeological site) and is 1 km from the town Arzachena (part of Costa Smeralda and 6km from the seaside). The city of Olbia, with its modern port and airport, is 25km away

Beautiful stone farmhouse, which was recommended to me by a local friend. She was right, Mario and Judith think of everything for the well-being of the guests. For me, intolerant to gluten, every morning there were at least two cakes and homemade sweets! The beaches are easily accessible, and in the evening it's wonderful to return to such a beautiful, calm, and quiet place. I will definitely come back.

The structure is wonderful, truly dreamy, immersed in nature, taken care of in every detail, and rich in tradition. It is excellently connected to the state roads to reach any point of interest in Gallura. The owners are two exquisite people, available, kind, friendly, and patient. Mario, the owner, gives great advice, the best restaurant within reach, the most beautiful beaches, etc. The breakfast is truly delicious and varies every day, all handmade and fresh. The owner is an excellent cook and she prepares the breakfast herself. The rooms are very clean. I absolutely recommend it, it is suitable for everyone, even for the youngest like me and my group of friends.

The B&B La MeSenda is wonderful, even more than it appears in the online photos: meticulous attention to detail, both in the rooms and in the garden. Perfect for those seeking relaxation among the olive trees, but not only: the managers are always available to give advice and explanations about the places to visit. The rather isolated location requires the use of a car for every movement, but from here you can easily reach both the Costa Smeralda and the inland. The breakfast is also perfect: varied, abundant, and always rich in homemade cakes or sweets (even the yogurt), all delicious!

La MeSenda is a blissful and charming stopover that contributes to the success of a stay in Sardinia. The rooms are comfortable and the location of the place is very convenient for exploring from east to west, in the northern part. The hosts' sense of hospitality is a sure value, especially since Judith speaks French (Mario too!) and proves to be a mine of good advice for visiting the area. The breakfasts are a delight for the eyes (the cakes are too beautiful!) and for the taste buds. The whole experience is very successful: highly recommended!

Very good stay, we appreciated the welcome, kindness and availability of Judith and Mario. The rooms are pleasant, clean, very rich breakfast and all homemade. The inn is very well located, not far from the beaches but quiet, which is very appreciable.

The B&B is very welcoming, from the garden carefully curated in every detail with a whimsical appearance to the welcoming of the owners. The room offers many amenities (TV, fridge, heat pump, wardrobe, WiFi) and looks beautiful. I must say that I really like how they painted the walls with shades that almost look like burn marks on the beams and the slab. The breakfast also offers everything with homemade bread, jams, including the very good yogurt. The B&B is located near a Phoenician archaeological area (of which Arzachena and its surroundings are very rich) and at the gates of the town. We stayed on Easter Monday 2015 with my girlfriend. Excellent value for money. If we were to be in the area again, we will definitely return.
