We are a small, simple family, but full of sensitivity and a desire to describe all the beautiful things that this corner of paradise offers. Our family is made up of Dad Ugo, Mom Bella, and little Dorotea. Our family expands with our scruffy dog "Bionda, " our cat Fritz, and our ten geese.

We have a small vegetable garden that allows us to offer our guests delicious tomatoes, blackberries, figs, grapes, mulberries, and everything that the seasons offer.

We have made our guests independent so that they can manage their own breakfast.

Our small but organized family unit is always attentive to every need of the guest.

The property is very pretty and located in the surrounding area of Palau; only a few minutes from the center. Although I stayed only one night, I really enjoyed it. The property is very clean and has a cozy atmosphere. It is not far from archaeological sites and is perfect even if you are just passing through for the nearby islands. Isabella, the host, is incredible. She goes above and beyond being a professional host. She takes personal care of all guests' needs. For example, because I arrived by bus, she picked me up from the harbor and dropped me back the next day. She also drove me to the archaeological site. She even bought the ticket for the ferry to La Maddalena for me. I also really enjoyed our conversations about the Tombe dei Giganti and their interesting magnetic powers. Overall, this is an excellent accommodation that I sincerely recommend.

Buonasera signor Dessi, noi siamo il bed and breakfast La gatta sul tetto, siamo a Palau e le nostre camere hanno tutte i ventilatori, uno sul comodino di destra e uno sul comodino di sinistra quindi è impossibile che abbia pernottato da noi. Per giunta non ci risulta il suo nominativo nella registrazione delle bollette alla PS quindi non credo sia stato nella nostra struttura. Secondo me ha confuso il nome del bed and breakfast, mi dispiace deluderla ma la nostra struttura è superiore. Quindi la ringrazio tanto della recensione ma non è dedicata a noi, probabilmente un'altra struttura e l'ha confusa la dicitura comunque ha confuso il nome del bed and breakfast quindi le consiglio la prossima volta di essere più attento La ringrazio e l'aspettiamo nella nostra struttura B&B La gatta sul tetto a Palau.

It was absolutely wonderful, we felt in an Italian fairytale. Rooms are lovely, clean and traditional, surrounded by the sounds of nature. Breakfast was also fantastic, with homemade marmalade and Italian specialities. We loved our stay. Hope to come back soon. Thank you Isabella.

We had a great time. The host was very nice, the garden is beautiful. Many nice places to visit and walks in the surroundings (Maddalena archipel is beautiful). The room was a little cold when we arrived but after one night we woke up in a nice warm room.

Honestly, we were hoping to spend a pleasant, quiet, and fun stay (based on what we had read in the reviews) but reality exceeded every expectation as the place is beautiful and peaceful. The location of the property is simply exceptional (to reach the wonderful beaches and other breathtaking beauties). And the icing on the cake, "La Gatta sul Tetto", is unique. Her availability borders on perfection and her knowledge about every small detail and more about the area helps in a more concrete and efficient way to discover the beauties that surround this wonderful land. It wasn't easy to return home after the wonderful sensations experienced, but we promise ourselves to come back. A hug to Bella from Astrid, Mirca, Gerardo, and Fulvio.

We had a great time, it is peaceful but close to the city and convenient for getting around. It's original, it feels like going back in time with all the modern comforts, the lady who runs it is very nice. What else can I say? If I come back to the area next year, I know where to go without any doubt. Seeing is believing.

We stayed at La Gatta sul Tetto from 31/5 to 4/6. The Bed and Breakfast is located in the countryside just 2 km from the center of Palau and the beaches. The place was clean and suitable for our needs. The breakfast is self-service with an espresso coffee machine, milk, packaged products, and fresh fruit made available the day before. Mrs. Isabella is very courteous and available to solve any problem and to recommend the most beautiful itineraries in the area.

We stayed in one of the accommodations of La Gatta sul Tetto after mid-August. The structure maintained an externally appearance that blends well with the splendid Gallura, inside it is equipped with all the comforts. Ours was one of the smallest B&Bs but the space is optimized to perfection. New, spacious bathroom with a shower box. I asked for a hairdryer to the owner who was available for any need and they provided it to me after five minutes! Truly exquisite kindness. Mrs. Isabella also gave us advice on the best places to see in the short time we had. The location is strategically positioned to visit Santa Teresa di Gallura, La Maddalena (Palau is very close) or reach Isola dei Gabbiani, or Costa Smeralda. Self-service breakfast with coffee machine, biscuits, and more available. The only flaw, if you want to find one, is that the window and French door were covered only with curtains, so light entered very early in the morning! B&B definitely recommended for those who love being in the middle of nature but want to move quickly.

My family and I, four people, stayed in August for two nights to visit La Maddalena. The B&B is surrounded by greenery in complete silence, very close to the port where ferries depart and excursions to the archipelago. The room is tastefully furnished, spacious bathroom, small kitchen. The owner is a very kind person. Recommended for those who love animals, especially cats that keep you company on the veranda furnished with garden furniture.

The location of the house is not as marked on the map: the house is about 5km outside Palau (on the house's website the location is correctly indicated and how to get there is explained). The house is in the middle of the countryside, in a very beautiful environment (although there are quite a few mosquitoes!). Isabella, the owner, is very kind. There is plenty of parking space next to the house without any problem.

I stayed with my boyfriend for five days at the end of July two thousand thirteen and we found ourselves very well starting from the welcome that Isabella reserved for us who immediately made us fit into the new reality with maps, stories, and books. The apartment is very spacious and nice immersed in the Sardinian countryside. It is located five minutes by car from Palau. Thank you again for Isabella's authentic hospitality. It is absolutely to be repeated.

Nice area, very quiet and a lot of outdoor space. The bed and breakfast is quiet and relaxing; there is a lack of places to put things, there are problems with the television and hot water (on the last day it was cold). There is a lack of shutters, only with the curtain too much sun comes in and there is less privacy. The quality/price ratio is still good and it is important that they accept animals!

If you want to spend a truly magical, relaxing, and special vacation, go to this B&B. The rooms are beautiful, characterized by the warmth of wood, the scent of lavender, the love of the managers, and a touch of American country style, with fabrics and hearts sewn by hand, immersed in the greenery of magical Gallura and with an enchanted garden that surrounds the rooms. A truly unforgettable experience made unique by the kindness and care of Mrs. Isabella, who pampered us like a mother and filled us with excellent homemade sweets and useful information about the area and Sardinia.
