In the heart of the Castello district, the historic center of the ancient medieval city, this apartment stands out for its elegant restoration that highlights its original architectural identity. Located on the ground floor with a private entrance, it consists of three main rooms, along with two bathrooms and a convenient storage area. The exposed brick archways and majestic sedimentary rock arches evoke the history of the place, shared with the prestigious surrounding buildings.
During the restoration, a Punic-era cistern was uncovered in the first room, marking the long historical layering of the structure. The flooring has been entirely reconstructed using handmade terracotta and wood-fired tiles, while some original Sardinian terracotta tiles have been salvaged and showcased in the entrance area and the storage room.
The third room is designed as a space for relaxation, reading, and music, also offering the opportunity to connect to the internet. Here too, an ancient cistern has been revealed, further indicating the historical significance of the residence. The two bathrooms, one of which includes a shower, complete a living space that combines historical charm with modern comfort.
