Description

The Glemerald Hostel is a place where a young and dynamic atmosphere is combined with affordable prices without neglecting comfort and quality of services.

It is a multifunctional structure that offers both low-cost rooms and an alternative tourist hospitality model. It combines the comfort of hotel services (daily cleaning, presence of a bar and restaurant on site) with the convenience of typical hostel services (common areas where meals can be heated and food can be stored), as well as additional services such as takeaway lunch, airport shuttle, fishing charters, etc.

The facility has 33 rooms, 18 with private bathrooms and 15 with shared bathrooms. Most of the rooms can only be booked for private use, but some can also be booked as shared dormitories by purchasing a bed.

The facility is particularly suitable for groups such as summer camps, school trips, workshops, etc. as it offers excellent accommodation rates, a capacity of 123 beds, and large outdoor spaces on the lawn. Similarly, in various areas, it welcomes families with children thanks to play areas and small amenities designed specifically for those with young children.

Inside the reception area, there is a space dedicated to a shop where local products and lovely gift packages can be purchased, while other areas are dedicated to exhibitions of local artisans.

Our kitchen? A blend of tradition and innovation. Our attachment to our land combined with innovative cooking techniques that preserve the quality and properties of the products, seasonal raw materials, including those from our own garden, the freshest fish, sometimes just caught, and delicious homemade roasts, pizzas, and much more!
The restaurant is only open during high season except for group trips, for which it is possible to use it during other periods.

The property is a hostel but the offering is more similar to that of a hotel. It has an excellent restaurant, both in terms of cuisine and service. It is surrounded by a garden equipped with children's play areas and gazebos for private conversations. Very nice hostel about 1 km from the center of Pula, in a quiet area. Clean and welcoming structure, with a nice well-kept garden where you can relax. There is also a restaurant, convenient for those who want to dine on-site. The only point for improvement: the breakfast, which we added separately, but offered little choice.

We stayed only 3 nights but we recommend visiting the Glemerald! The place where we slept is simple but there is no shortage of space. Special mention for the catering, the restaurant has a fabulous menu, we ate very well, every evening was a delight. The guys who manage it are always very kind and available to advise us during our stay. Additionally, having the garden with games for us was a plus since our kids could play quietly after dinner. In short, a simple, family-friendly environment but with TOP catering! We hope to return soon!

Property located in Pula, situated inside the town but slightly secluded, hence quiet and peaceful. Very spacious rooms with high ceilings. The structure is clean and well-maintained. Breakfast at the bar (for a fee) is good and offers a wide selection, like in most common bars in Italy. I wouldn't mind going back.

Well air-conditioned hotel, located in a semi-central area. Good starting point for visiting the archaeological site of Nora, with free guided tours starting at 10 am and for the beaches of Chia. Large rooms and bathroom with relative linen. You need to bring your own soaps. Despite a great muggy heat, we slept well with the windows closed. Their air conditioning system remains a mystery.

I stayed in this property for 2 nights and I can give a positive rating for the room air conditioning, a negative rating for the shared bathrooms, but that's understandable, but a bathroom without a bidet cannot exist. Regarding the restaurant, the service is extremely slow, frozen pizzas from Eurospin, and very rude staff, and on top of that, very expensive. Strongly not recommended.

Helpful staff, spacious and air-conditioned rooms, aesthetically very pleasant, large outdoor space for children to play safely, green lawn, quality restaurant, strategic location to reach the sea in 8 minutes. Well above expectations. We will return.
