Description

Domu Speciosa is a Sardinian style house surrounded by nature, decorated with attention to detail, where stone and wood are main elements, gently blending with the surrounding garden, creating continuity between nature and all the environments. This allows us to offer our guests moments of pure relaxation in the comfortable rooms filled with traditional sardinian atmosphere.

All rooms overlook the garden, where you can savor colors of the sunsets, smells of the typical cistus and myrtle plants of our nature.

The night then, the lights in the garden reveal shadows and shapes of olive trees and ancient stones carved by time, the essence of Sardinia with its wild and fascinating nature.

Territory
The territory in which our house is located is one of the most evocative of Sardinia; in a few minutes it is possible to reach the white beaches and the crystal clear sea, like the well-known beaches of Cala Pira, Punta Molentis,
Monte Turno, Costa Rey and Porto Giunco in Villasimius. But not just the sea, our territory is rich in culture and uncontaminated nature as well.

Mountains are characterized by dark greens of junipers and numerous arbutus scattered throughout
the Castiadese territory and it all gives the impression that the time here has stopped for its way of being, untouched by man.

Beautiful forests, the usual destination of many tourists, will not fail to amaze you, with its huge oaks
escaped from the hand of man, the fragrant and twisted secular junipers, the flowering arbutus with their
red berries, the scents of the various local essences such as myrtle, rosemary, cistus, with the unmistakable colors of pink and white oleanders.

Numerous springs and various streams curl through these mountains still rich in resources.

Sardinia is not only sea and nature but also offers history...

Nearby you can visit ancient but still intact nuraghe, like The Tombe Dei Giganti or mining parks.

Keen to discover more of Costa Rei, I chose Domuspeciosa where everything was perfect. In a very quiet setting, well laid out and tastefully decorated, the stay was made easier, on the one hand by the clean, well-equipped room and on the other by Marco, who is friendly, helpful and gives good advice. I recommend it.

Our stay was perfect! From the warm welcome to the check-out by Marco, everything was handled with care and attention. The room was clean and comfortable, the structure immersed in a peace that is rarely found. The week passed quickly but without empty spaces, thanks to all the hints and suggestions that Marco gave us every morning to always see new beaches, one more beautiful than the other, we felt at home. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at Domu Speciosa. As soon as you enter the structure, you find yourself in a context that is cared for in every detail. The garden is dressed in tender green grass and you appreciate the arrangement of the vegetation organized in flower beds and small corners that frame the structure, making the atmosphere very pleasant: a small paradise! The patio is also welcoming, featuring a small living area and furniture, each of which holds a story inside. The rooms are sober and elegant, extremely clean, with excellent water pressure in the showers and perfect temperature. The owner and his family are wonderful people: of rare kindness and availability. Truly hospitable people who deeply love and respect the environment. Mr. Marco in particular is very good at giving the right tips about places to visit (taking into account distances and weather conditions as well). He was always present and available, but with care and discretion. It was nice to have the opportunity to meet and know someone who still has values and does not hesitate to share them. Absolutely recommended experience!

I highly and highly recommend excellent accommodation, beautiful, clean and fragrant. The hosts Marco and his wife Stefanie are great hosts-home. The accommodation is located in a beautifully maintained garden. The accommodation provides three apartments-bedrooms and a spacious bathroom, all very tastefully furnished. Marco prepared us a delicious breakfast every day with great care. We appreciate most his recommendations for amazing beaches in the area and excellent local restaurants. One evening they secured a reservation for us in a typical Sardinian restaurant, where we had a great dinner of 12 courses of traditional Sardinian food. The accommodation is within walking distance to the sea, about 10 minutes by car you can choose any absolutely luxurious beach of the Costa Rei coast with white sand and a beautiful crystal sea.

Marco is a kind, caring and never intrusive guest. The structure (with covered parking) is wonderful, able to combine Sardinian style and modernity. The price is good, the distance from the sea is not great, the breakfast is fabulous, the garden is a spectacle and the room we stayed in was really beautiful, as well as very clean. The silence and the starry sky were the icing on the cake. We will definitely return.

We stayed 8 nights in this delightful bed and breakfast. Marco, Stefania, and little Leonardo welcomed us with sympathy and warmth. Domu Speciosa is an oasis of total relaxation. The structure is located in a quiet area and allows you to easily reach the most beautiful beaches in the Costa Rei and Villasimius area. The rooms are clean, equipped with every comfort, and well organized. The veranda in front of the room is also very pleasant. Special appreciation for the meticulously maintained garden! Marco is always present (discreetly) and available to welcome every request. His advice on beaches, places to visit, and restaurants is extremely valuable. In the end, you leave with the desire to return!

We stayed at this beautiful B&B from August 19th to 27th and immediately felt warmly welcomed by the owners, Marco, Stefania, and little Leonardo. They gave us valuable advice on beaches, places to visit, and restaurants to go to. The B&B is well taken care of in every detail and fully reflects the Sardinian architectural style. There is an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation is ensured! It is conveniently located to reach all the enchanting beaches of the coast in a few minutes and has parking spaces. The garden, full of plants and flowers, spacious and well-maintained, gives the structure a bucolic and reassuring atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, essential, clean, and equipped with all necessary comforts (tv, Wi-Fi, mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine, air conditioner). Excellent breakfast, always rich in sweet and savory dishes, with homemade preparations as well, really very good and greatly appreciated! Needless to say, we felt “at home”, pampered by the owners, thanks also to the little attentions they know how to reserve for their guests: the good morning in the morning, the chat before going out, a drink on the veranda upon returning in the evening. Many thanks to Marco, Stefania, and Leonardo for welcoming us so warmly and for enriching this short vacation, which we will carry with us as a sweet memory.

Family-run B&B. Superb welcome. Cozy environment and super well-kept house. Marco, the owner, super in everything, to make guests feel at home. Excellent and abundant breakfast. Wonderful garden. Reserved and covered parking space. Highly recommended if you want to visit the south/east of Sardinia and admire the beauties of the sea along the whole Rei coast, which is located a few kilometers from the structure.

We were there this year for the 2nd time, and not just for one week but for two. The B&B is in a great location for Costa Rei (about 10 minutes away) with its super beautiful and different beaches. It is located on the outskirts of the town. Everything is very well maintained with great attention to detail. Pleasant family atmosphere. Very quiet location. On foot, everything necessary such as restaurants, supermarket is reachable. Marco is always there to help and advise.

Everything went perfectly, the place is meticulously cared for in every detail. It is peaceful in the countryside, you can enjoy the sound of crickets and the grazing flock. The room always cool and super clean, beautiful the veranda and the garden marvelously maintained by the owners. It was an unforgettable holiday also and above all thanks to the stay here. Breakfast always excellent both sweet and savory, cappuccino and fresh cakes never missed. Fresh fruit and local products always available. The beaches all nearby with the car in 15 minutes you always reach the sea, restaurants and supermarket very close. I hope to come back so much.

Fantastic location in a strategic point to then move by car towards the beautiful beaches of southern Sardinia. Marco is an exquisite person, very kind and caring, he also gave us many tips for both the beaches and the really top restaurants. We stayed in this beautiful property for 8 days. We really liked it, the environment and the large garden are very well maintained and Marco, the owner, is a very helpful guy, very attentive, answers phone calls immediately, and you can feel a homely atmosphere. The house is a bit in the countryside but just a few kilometers from all the most beautiful beaches in the area, which is fabulous. The welcome from Stefania, Marco and little Leonardo was extremely warm right from the start and throughout the entire stay: with valuable advice on the beaches and places to visit, on the restaurants to go to. The setting, truly difficult to describe in words, for the emotions it gives. A Sardinian-style house, very recently built, completely immersed in greenery and meticulously cared for: the room (juniper) spacious, new and also furnished in Sardinian style. Bed with a very comfortable mattress, always different floral compositions, left by Marco inside the room, always very clean. Coffee machine and kettle, with a wide choice of infusions, herbal teas and teas. Small surprises waiting for us on return from the beach, like an aperitif under the room's veranda, or on return from restaurants, like a myrtle under the patio, accompanied by warm chats and smiles. Breakfast always rich, abundant and varied, both sweet and savory: homemade sweets, fruit, pancakes, also homemade jams. Thanks to Marco (the owner of the bed and breakfast), for his attentions, for the beauty of the structure and certainly for the beauty of the places, we can say that we have spent an unforgettable holiday here. The room is located in a modern villa a few minutes from the town of Olia Speciosa, a small and charming center of the Municipality of Castiadas convenient to the splendid beaches of Costa Rei. The villa, as shown in the photos, is set in a relaxing context and perfect for nature and silence lovers. The room, of adequate size, is very pleasant in the furnishings, fresh, comfortable, equipped with a small exclusive porch furnished with table, chairs, and clothesline, offers a beautiful view of the well-kept garden of the villa. The breakfast area is equally pleasant and well laid out, and Marco is available to provide you with everything you desire for breakfast. The cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable, as well as everything else. If you are planning to spend your holidays in this part of Sardinia and are looking for a welcoming, clean, and relaxing place, we can only recommend a stop at Domu Speciosa by Marco and his wife Stefania.

In the dwelling of the Monni Family, order and cleanliness at 'Superior' levels and Sardinian hospitality that is unmatched! Air-conditioned rooms, very comfortable mattresses, the bathroom is super clean with very white towels. Wardrobe with white wooden coat hangers, also very clean. Fridge and coffee machine in the room. The typically sweet Italian breakfast is really abundant, there are also pastries made by the landlady, Mrs. Stefania, that are exceptional! Truly unique respect and hospitality! Not to be missed!
