Our breakfast is mainly based on the typical Italian one with coffee or cappuccino prepared at the moment with our machine that I assure you prepares a cappuccino better than the one you drink at the bar thanks to our milk produced in Sardinia. Everything can be garnished and completed with seasonal fruit, wholemeal biscuits, yogurt, jams, butter and if someone wants a good tea we are available. We are available to always satisfy our guests.

Hello! I'm Pietro Gavino, but everyone just calls me Piero! Even my parents refer to me that way! I have been happily married to Paola for nearly 50 years, and together we have two daughters and two lovely grandchildren. We enjoy traveling and welcoming people from all over the world. La casa de Gelsomino is located in a quiet area of the city of Olbia. Read the heavy traffic typical of coastal towns but look for all the necessary services such as bars, restaurants, pharmacies, petrol stations, supermarkets, pizzerias, etc. Furthermore, the house is located just between two uphill streets where there is only resident traffic and the parking is free and always available for cars or motorbikes. The house is mostly located in a quiet area without traffic noise or noisy people as they usually encounter in the historic centers where in Olbia there is a ZTL that requires expensive parking and passages. You can get to the house from the passenger port and the airport in 5 minutes in the car. In 7 minutes you can reach the best beaches of Olbia and your elders too by public transport.

We spent three wonderful days at Casa del Gelsomino in Olbia. Everything was perfect from start to finish: a warm welcome, an impeccable room, spotless cleanliness and a very peaceful atmosphere. The owner is extremely kind, attentive and always available to make the stay enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our stay and recommend this place without hesitation. A lovely discovery in Sardinia, which we will happily return to.

Location very close to the corso, reachable in a few minutes by car and equally close to the entrance of the expressway to head north or south of Sardinia. Ample roadside parking is available even in high season. Impeccable cleanliness and linen service worthy of a 5-star hotel. Rooms exactly as shown in the photos; the house is very well cared for, also in terms of design. The included breakfast is the Italian style (milk/coffee or juice and rusks/croissant), but they do not hesitate to accommodate other guest requests, especially in case of allergies. As for the welcome, what can I say? They are lovely, truly friendly people (all) and always available even when they are temporarily away and also for advice about Sardinia or life ♥️.
