Description

The Porto Romano Guest House is a small villa overlooking a lovely garden in the historic center of Olbia, just a few steps from the square and the seafront with its typical cafes and restaurants.

Immersed in a welcoming and refined atmosphere, it is located 100 meters from the train and bus station, close to the port and easily reachable from the airport. Free public parking is available nearby.

The rooms, all with private bathrooms, are spacious, bright, air-conditioned, served by wifi and complete with a fridge and coffee machine.

If you prefer the freedom to arrive at any time, we can arrange for self check-in.

Just a few minutes from the beaches of northern Sardinia, among history, food and wine and crafts, the Porto Romano B&B is the ideal place to stay to discover the most enchanting places of the island.

I would like to thank Simonetta for her kindness and availability, for finding us a solution four days before New Year's Eve, for helping us find parking and a place to dine. We felt at home, not to mention the breakfast, a wide choice. The room and bathroom were very clean. Convenient location to visit the city center on foot. We hope to return soon.

Best place to stay in Olbia. The location is a 5-minute walk from the train station. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk. Take bus #2, it's about 20 minutes from the airport with traffic. You can buy your tickets at Johnny Bar. Nice family working there, the place opens at 5 am!\n\nThe host is wonderful. Simonetta took her time to explain where and how to get to beautiful beaches. We felt so welcomed by her. We fell in love with the place. \nAt night, you can sit upstairs while enjoying a coffee and the calmness of the night. \nDo follow her advice on where to eat. We had amazing food at Anticas Licanzias (service is so so) and great pizza at Il Veliero. If you order pepperoni pizza, beware that it is green pepper and not meat. That broke our heart. \n\nThank you so much Simonetta for making our stay memorable.

Excellent stay! B&B Porto Romano. Simonetta is lovely, very kind and gives us great sightseeing tips. The room is cleaned daily. The breakfast is top-notch, we lack nothing and the shared kitchen is appreciated. The air conditioning is very effective.

We were welcomed from the first stay by dear Simonetta, I felt at home and couldn't wait to come back! The house reflects the one of my dreams, excellent location and delicious homemade bread for breakfast. I will miss it a lot and I hope to see her again soon.

This charming and cozy place absolutely gives you a homely feeling. The private balconies and communal terraces overlook nice big trees which give a really green and almost rural feeling, while you are being just in the middle of the city center. We loved the retro feel of the rooms. It all was very clean and the price/quality rate is just a rarity. The breakfast was nice, with fresh ingredients and traditional cake and bread. In the communal living room you can find lots of information (leaflets, books) about Sardinia. Our only recommendation for improvement would be a double bed with just one mattress. Our host, Simonetta, was very welcoming and explained everything very patiently. She also arranged for an early-morning taxi to take us to the airport. The old city center is just around the corner, with lots of cute restaurants and bars. We loved the creative murals in the neighborhood, Dumbo, Wall-E and the Mandrill were among our favorites. We only stayed for one night, on our way to the airport, but we could imagine staying here longer and enjoy the garden to its fullest.

B&B Porto Romano is one of the best places we stayed during our 19 days in Sardinia. It was well located, has easy and free parking close by, the room was large and bright. The breakfast was really good, but the best thing are the hosts! Simonetta and Agathe were incredible. So friendly, gave good advice, went out of their way to be excellent hosts. And you can't beat the price!

This B&B has exceeded our expectations. Beautiful bedroom, spacious bathroom, very clean (bath and shower). The house is beautifully decorated, nice outside terrace is available for a nice breakfast (homemade bread and a surprise every day). Rooms are spacious and comfortable, very clean. Parking nearby. All perfect. B&B Porto Romano located a few steps from the center of Olbia, a strategic position to also visit other places nearby. Abundant and varied breakfast, every morning there was a different and fresh product, made at the moment. Excellent room cleanliness. Agata and Simonetta are two splendid, sunny and helpful people (they helped us a lot during the holiday acting as a "tour guide"). When we return to Olbia, this is definitely the B&B Porto Romano where we will stay.
