Description

Cala Gonone, pearl of the Mediterranean, starting from the sixties has become a point of reference for the summer season in the Est Coast of Sardinia.

From the poit of embarkation of the marina in possible to reach the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Orosei, incuding:
Cala Luna with its caverns open at the beach level with a stream that separates the beach from numerous pink oleanders;
Cala Mariolu, that shows the two inlets of white sand separated by a rocky promontory white, extending the clear blue sea;
The caves of the Bue Marino, home until the eiglities of the monk seal, the Foca Monaca.

But Cala Gonone is not only sea, is it also services and sporting activities, with the possibility of trekking, miking an climbing of cliffs, with itineraries tried and tested by the best climbers of the world.

Archaeology is the presence in the territory of imposing Menhir, mysterious Domus de Janas (houses of the fairies), majestic graves of giants, the famous villages nauraghie of Tiscali and Serra Orrios, nuraghi as Nuraghe Mannu where you can enjoy of a spectacular view across the whole gulf, as well as the beauty inland the Gola di Gorroppu and the cave of Ispinigoli.

You can also visit many craft shops of leather, wood, knives, pottery, golds metal art and look at the talented craftsmen.

In the numerous restaurant and farns in the country, you can taste the traditional dishes and the seafood specialities typical prepared with natural products and genuine of the land like wine Cannonau, extra virgin olive, honey, cheeses and traditional sweets.

The Bed and Breakfast ICHNOS can be easily reached by the State Road 131 (road that connects whit each all the main harbours and airports of the island) direction Abbasanta/Nuoro exit Lula/Dorgali, and then continuing to 20 km direction Dorgali until to reach the state road 125, and then get to Cala Gonone maritime Dorgali fraction, which is 7 km.

The owners and cleaning staff are very friendly and attentive to customer requests. The B&B's location is very convenient for accessing the sea and reaching various restaurants in the area. Continental buffet breakfast, both sweet and savory. Excellent coffee.

The B&B Ichnos is convenient for visiting the Gulf of Orosei. The room is simple but cozy, equipped with air conditioning and a balcony with a very useful drying rack. We also appreciated the medium-sized fridge, with space for the freezer. Although there is no reserved parking, you can find parking on the street or in the surrounding areas with a bit of luck. The manager is very friendly and takes care of serving breakfast in the morning. The homemade cakes are delicious.

July 2022. In the room there is no bidet so every time you go to the bathroom then you have to clean yourself in the shower. There are no mosquito nets on the windows so either you die of heat or you get eaten by mosquitoes or you sleep with the air conditioning. A very slight sewer smell came from the sink, it can happen but if there are works to be done on the drainage they should be done! We stayed for 3 days and the room, including the bathroom, were never cleaned and the towels were not replaced. The breakfast is acceptable but can be improved. The manager is not very helpful to the customers' needs.

C'è scritto molto bene sia sul sito che nelle regole all'interno della camera che il cambio lenzuola e asciugamani si fa ogni tre notti, ogni giorno però entriamo in camera per rifare il letto e mettere a posto la stanza. Se uno ha altre esigenze può comunicarcelo subito e non scriverlo dopo quattro mesi. Poi ha sottolineato la mia poca collaborazione alle richieste dei clienti, e in cosa non vi sarei venuto incontro? Con l'aria condizionata forse? Che non riuscivate ad accenderla?? Per quanto riguarda le zanzare é presente in camera il fornellino, siete gli unici in tutta l'estate che non lo avete visto e non lo avete utilizzato? Oppure potevate chiudere le finestre e mettere il condizionatore a deumidificare, come facevano tutti gli altri clienti. La colazione poi, tutti ci fanno i complimenti per le cose che offriamo, dalle torte fatte da mia moglie ai croissant caldi appena sfornati. Solo voi non avete apprezzato questo, che avevate da ridire anche per la lunghezza del caffè... Se volevate un servizio da 5 stelle avete proprio sbagliato struttura, il nostro è un onesto bed and breakfast a conduzione familiare. Saluti...

Great structure, clean a stone's throw from the pier to embark on the mini-cruises departing from Cala Gonone. Super breakfast with homemade cakes and much more. Beautiful and spacious room. Very kind owner, I forgot the charger in the room and he sent it back to me the day after we left. In conclusion, I have been to many places and tried different B&Bs, and it is not so easy to find one that provides a service almost comparable to that of a hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Spacious and comfortable room with private bathroom, separate entrance with a foyer equipped with a fridge freezer, a sofa, and a table with 4 chairs, balcony in the room and a table and chairs on the balcony at the entrance. The breakfast was very good, the owner Franco is a friendly, helpful, and at the same time reserved person. Recommendable. In my evaluation, I did not give a 10 because it might seem like a fake review. I thank Mr. Franco again.

Excellent location by the sea, full of restaurants and 2 steps from the port for a mini-cruise by inflatable boat in the Gulf of Orosei. B&B Ichnos suitable for everyone and equipped with every comfort. Franco the owner always very kind and friendly. Rating 10.

We had a great time! Large room with hotel-like comfort. Independent entrance that allows managing entrances and exits autonomously and discreetly. Good and varied breakfast with homemade cakes. Very kind and welcoming owner. We will come back and recommend it.

My wife and I spent 9 nights at this property, and we must say we had a very good impression. The small property is located a few steps from the sea and the main street, the room with attached bathroom is nice and equipped with air conditioning, then there is a nice common room with a refrigerator, the breakfast area is outside in a cute little place, and it is well stocked with good homemade pastries. The owner Franco is very kind and helpful. Excellent value for money considering the period 4-13 August. B&B highly recommended for a stay in Cala Gonone.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questo B&B. La posizione è ottima in pieno centro a Cala Gonone e a due passi dalla passeggiata del lungomare. Inoltre è vicino al supermercato, massimo 5 minuti a piedi. I proprietari, il signor Franco e sua moglie, sono molto gentili e disponibili. La colazione è discreta, sia dolce che salata. Unica pecca è la mancanza del Pos per i pagamenti con bancomat e carta di credito. Insomma una buonissima struttura per soggiornare.

Ottima struttura in centro di Cala Gonone, a due passi dal lungo mare e da tutti i servizi. Molto buona l'ospitalità e la colazione servita in giardino compresa sia di dolce che di salato. Camera molto capiente, così pure il bagno completo di tutto il necessario. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, veramente da consigliare.

Camera pulitissima (come pure il bagno), unica pecca, leggermente piccola, ma comunque super vivibile, tra l'altro molto carina. La struttura è vicinissima (30 metri) alla spiaggia, alla via principale e ai ristoranti, comodissima, il prezzo tra i più bassi e i gestori gentili e professionali. P.S. non sono loro parente, sono solo soddisfatto.

B&B in posizione ottimale, a pochi metri dal lungomare e dal centro. Camere pulite e spaziose, bagni molto belli. Parcheggio accanto all'ingresso, giardino/veranda intorno alle camere. Ottimo.
