Description

Domo Sul Porto is situated in Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo and overlooks the old port of this small characteristic fishing village. The B&B has four rooms, all en suite.

All the rooms, tastefully decorated, have independent air conditioning. Three of them overlook the old port and one a quiet narrow road leading from the Lungomare. You have breakfast and can read and relax in the sitting/dining room with adjoining terrace overlooking the port.

The B&B is only a few steps away from the main tourist services as well as the supermarkets, newsagent, chemist, tobacconist, bank, post office, restaurants and the market. Its central position means that you can get to the bus stop in a few minutes on foot and from there you can catch the bus not only to the beautiful beaches of the Pelosa and the Saline, but also to Sassari, Porto Torres and Alghero airport.

There is a good collection of tourist books and guides (also in English) on Sardinia and, thanks to his excellent knowledge of the area, the owner can give helpful suggestions as to where to go and what to do in order to discover the most charming and characteristic spots in north east Sardinia.

Breakfast

Breakfast, which is served on the terrace overlooking the old picturesque port of the village, can be savoury or sweet. When you come upstairs in the morning for breakfast you will find a small buffet consisting of croissant, cereal, fresh fruit, fresh bread and toast, fruit juice, milk, yogurt, butter, jam, Nutella, ham and cheese.

You can drink tea, coffee or cappuccino as you look down at the port coming to life.

Many thanks to Giorgio, a wonderful host who was very welcoming and helpful. Thanks to him and his recommendations, we had a fantastic day in Stintino enjoying the local cuisine and relaxing. He was also impeccable in helping us reschedule our holiday because of the weather, giving us some helpful tips.

This was our best stay of our 12-night holiday in Sardinia. Giorgio could not have been more helpful and friendly. We are vegan for health and climate reasons and Giorgio could not have been more helpful. Nowhere else, until our last night's stay when another lovely host showed us a fantastic vegan restaurant in Olbia, did we find any vegan restaurants or food. We had no vegan food for breakfast. But Giorgio got us vegan milk and made us homemade, delicious vegan croissants, superb. There was plenty of great fruit available too. I can't thank you enough, Giorgio. I was saving money and booked the economy room. It was excellent value and there was nothing wrong with it, but the view from the other bedroom that is a bit more expensive and the view from the breakfast rooms are superb, so I recommend splashing out on the more expensive bedroom. We are very noise sensitive due to being retired doctors and always alert for emergencies, but this was a peaceful, lovely place to stay. Thank you Giorgio. When we are back in Sardinia you will be our number one choice.

Everything was perfect. Giorgio is a fabulous host, very attentive to his guests. The room is very pleasant and well equipped and above all very well located. Free parking is available in front of the accommodation. I highly recommend this B&B.

Giorgio was an excellent host. The room and the bathroom were very nicely furnished and clean. The breakfast was prepared with a lot of care. The only issue was that our room window was at street level and pedestrians could look directly into our room (we had the windows wide open for fresh air), which was not very pleasant. However, there were only occasional pedestrians since the house is on a small alley. A positive was that there were a few restaurants and shops nearby and the property is right by the small harbor of Stintino.

If I could give 6 stars I would! Giorgio is extremely kind, helpful and attentive to guests. We felt at home right away. The room is large, clean and cozy, and you will also find a beach umbrella and mats inside in case they are needed. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. Finding a flaw in this property is impossible. The room is organized impeccably: shelves, chairs, armchairs, coat racks, hangers, a wardrobe with a taller door for clothes, and spaces for any luggage. The bathroom has enormous space for beauty products, a hairdryer with a diffuser, and a functional shower. Strategic location, poetic view of a charming little harbor. And then... the cherry on the cake: Giorgio, the owner. A warm and witty young man, endowed with humor and a good dose of culture, an excellent conversationalist who knows how to make you love his land. What can I say? A wonderful stay.

One-night stay, which we would have happily extended. The property, besides being impeccably maintained, is in an excellent location for reaching Stintino's main points of interest and offers a very pleasant view of the small harbor. The structure is located in a fairly central position and overlooks the small and picturesque port of Stintino. The room is very spacious, welcoming, the furnishings are new, in a nautical style, and it is equipped with all the comforts to make the stay more than pleasant. The bathroom is also brand new. Giorgio is truly an excellent host. Good and abundant breakfast. Attention to detail and excellent advice on activities to do in the area. The location is central, close to restaurants, takeaways, and other services such as the bus that connects to the beaches, avoiding having to move with one's own car every day. Good availability of free parking throughout the town. Highly recommended accommodation for couples or small families to visit the wonderful area of the Gulf of Asinara and Alghero. We spent 3 days at the B&B Domo Sul Porto and we really had a great time. The structure is modern, the cleanliness impeccable, and the location really excellent. Although it is in the center of the town, thanks to the rather thick windows and the shutters, the room is completely soundproofed and allows for very peaceful rest. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is equipped with everything necessary (there is even a diffuser!). The very central location allows you to reach numerous restaurants and bars in 2 minutes on foot. To top it all off, the owner Giorgio is truly a person of rare kindness and availability. Besides being very friendly, he is also knowledgeable about the area and provided us with really useful advice that made our vacation even more enjoyable. We will definitely return.

The structure is very nice, clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and cool. The breakfast is plentiful and enjoyed with a view of the marina. Despite being in a central area, the windows soundproof the environment perfectly and ensure a restful sleep. We had no problems with parking our car. Many beaches and coves reachable in 5 minutes. In short, my husband and I had a great time. Lastly, a special mention to Giorgio: cheerful, helpful and ready to provide any useful information.

The B&B Domo Sul Porto is a wonderful find in the small and quaint fishing village of Stintino. Giorgio, the owner, is marvellous. So kind and helpful and full of great advice. The breakfast was abundant with so much choice - croissants, fresh bread, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, meat and more. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Location great for the beaches.

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The B&B is located right on the old port, within walking distance to many bars and restaurants, as well as supermarkets. Near the main street of Stintino, parking is not a problem, the port is easily reachable on foot and the most famous beaches are no more than 5 minutes away by car. Excellent value for money, extremely kind and impeccable staff. I noticed that the manager speaks English very well if you want to recommend it to non-Italian friends. We will definitely come back.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Giorgio, an exquisite person, with a sweetness, kindness, patience, and unique availability! The property is located in the center and offers a spectacular view of the port. The location is great as everything is within walking distance and, with a short drive, you can access stunning beaches! The room is extremely clean, cute, well furnished, functional, and equipped with all comforts. It's not enough to describe it, you have to experience it! So, go there because it's a guarantee!

It was our first time on this wonderful magical island. We stumbled upon this bed and breakfast by chance during our research. Impeccably clean, stylish and tastefully furnished, the rooms are equipped with everything and fragrant, overlooking the enchanting old port, not to mention the breakfast room. Giorgio, the owner, was very affable, kind and helpful from the very first contacts, even before departure. He was a bit like our Cicerone always ready to give us valuable tips and directions. He pampered us and was always there spoiling us with abundant breakfasts also with excellent local cheese and pleasant chats. An enthusiastic, generous person, simple from a unique heart and soul. We have traveled a lot, never met such a professional host who does this job in the right way with such passion and liveliness. We stayed from July 23rd to 30th at George's, for friends Giorgetto, in his very well-kept bed & breakfast. What can I say, words are wasted because you need to experience it, everything impeccable. George is a fantastic person, always with a kind smile and available to recommend the best beaches and restaurants. The inhabitants of Stintino struck me, all united and supportive, ready to engage with us in conversations, an unfortunately difficult environment to find these days. George pays great attention to details, both in managing the bed & breakfast and in relating to guests. Everything is perfect, nothing is missing, he provides umbrellas and mats to move around the magnificent beaches, and if you lack any accessory, he goes out of his way to make it available to you. I would like to give a special mention to Simonetta, the collaborator in charge of cleaning the rooms, she is a super nice person, full of spirit, always smiling. For anyone looking to spend a few days of relaxation in Stintino, Domo Sul Porto is the right choice, you won't regret it, in fact, you will feel nostalgic when you return home.

I can recommend this farm house 100%. Very clean apartment with everything you need, good bed with wonderful view. The whole property is situated on a hill with wonderful views on both sides. A nice 15m pool, very clean. It is located close to Montepulciano and is perfect for trips to Val d'Orcia. But mostly you have two wonderful hosts, friendly, helpful and I have been invited twice to a wonderful and delicious dinner.

The bed and breakfast is in a good location in Stintino, close to the sea, but also to useful services such as supermarkets, shops, and the pharmacy. The manager is very welcoming and caring, always available to offer advice on places to see, based on the wind which in Sardinia is a very relevant factor on the climate. Within a few days, we felt at home, also because there is a small kitchen available to guests, with all the essentials for cooking. Only downside are the nearby clubs, which sometimes played loud music until late. Otherwise, we had a great holiday and recommend the bed and breakfast.

We arrived a few hours early for check-in and there were no problems, they allowed us to leave our luggage in the room before heading straight to the beach. We stayed in two rooms, number 1 and 3, both recently renovated, very beautiful, both with air conditioning, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment (but not in room 3) and a TV. We had a great time, if you want a quiet place near the best beaches in the area, I highly recommend it. Free parking along the entire lakeside makes the b&b perfect. If I were to pass by again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. In addition, the room allows the use of the shared kitchen, perfect for those who want to prepare something to eat. Host Giorgio always gave us advice on the best beaches to visit and restaurants in the area to try, he was always very helpful and for this reason I gave him a full 10. The room was meticulously cleaned every day, another positive point. You could also use the washing machine and dryer. With that, I can say it was the most beautiful b&b I have ever stayed in.

I stayed with my boyfriend at this property for only one night but I would have gladly stayed much longer! Our room was really beautiful, well-furnished, spacious, and clean. The B&B is located in the city center near the port and is very convenient to reach both the sea and take a walk in the evening. The breakfast, served on the first floor overlooking the port, was really abundant and well taken care of. And finally, the owner, Giorgio, was very kind and super helpful, he even provided us with mats and an umbrella for the beach and allowed us to keep our luggage even after checkout. If I were to return to Stintino, I would definitely stay at Domo sul Porto!

The substantial difference from the other structures you can find in Stintino is made by Giorgio, the manager of the structure. Of a unique availability, always ready to give advice on where to eat, what to visit in the area. The location is very central with easily accessible parking. The offered breakfast was to our liking, both sweet and savory. Spacious bathroom in the room even if lacking a bidet. Well-furnished room, also present umbrella and beach mats for La Pelosa beach (mandatory). The only drawback is that the room is at street level and therefore lacks a balcony, to address this you can use the common terrace to hang swimsuits and towels. Overall, we had a great time!

The bed and breakfast is right in the center, easy to reach with parking available nearby. The furnishings are very well cared for, the spaces are spacious and soundproofed, which is very useful being right on a lively street. It was possible to use the common areas and dishes for some meals. Above all this, Giorgio is really kind and friendly, he was extremely welcoming and gave us useful directions for visiting the surroundings and places to dine. When we arrived, the welcoming and genuinely friendly attitude of Giorgio immediately won us over. The B&B overlooks the harbor, being in a small town you have everything at your disposal within a few meters. Our stay at the B&B Domo Sul Porto was very pleasant.\n\nGiorgio is a very friendly, kind, and helpful person: he gave us numerous tips, checked on taxis to the airport, and provided us with a beach umbrella and mats (the latter essential for Pelosa beach).\n\nThe breakfast included sweet and savory items, with Sardinian cold cuts and cheeses.\n\nMoreover, it is possible to use the kitchen and the common room for lunch and dinner.\n\nThe property is very close to the bus stop and the port.\n\nThe only downside: during the daily cleaning, they make the beds and clean the sanitary facilities well, but the floor is not swept and the towels are not changed.\n\nOverall, it was a very pleasant stay and I recommend it.

Domo Sul Porto is a lovely little B&B right on the Harbor in Stintino. There was plenty of parking near the B&B. The room was spotlessly clean and had a good shower and a comfortable bed. Nothing was too much trouble for Giorgio, our host. He was extremely friendly and we felt very welcome. He recommended beaches for us to visit that wouldn't be crowded and lent us beach chairs and an umbrella. The breakfast was good and we were welcome to help ourselves to tea, coffee, juice or whatever we wanted during our stay. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you, Giorgio. We'll be back.
