Description
The B&B is located in the very green and characteristic hamlet of San Gregorio, just 30 minutes from Cagliari and a few km from the Sette Fratelli Park - in a breathtaking and quiet area halfway between the fantastic beaches of Costa Rei, Villasimius, and Poetto.
The house is a mid-century villa, renovated in 2021 according to the principles of energy saving (photovoltaic, double glazing and insulation) and the interior is welcoming, simple and well furnished. The B&B has three double bedrooms on the first floor, all very bright and with private bathroom, WiFi, minibar, air conditioning / heating. Two, with large double windows, have a view of the surrounding greenery and the hamlet while the third has a view of the internal courtyard and the surrounding hills.
The breakfast includes milk, tea, coffee, jams, yogurt, fruit juices, fresh bread, butter, cereals, homemade cakes and seasonal products.
It is served in the internal courtyard or in the bedroom in case of bad weather.

I was born and lived in Milan until 2005, when I moved to Sardinia.
I lived in the north of the island for 16 years, in the wonderful and wild Gallura - isolated in the countryside but a few kilometers from jaw-dropping beaches.
After this incredible but tiring experience that left me with wonderful memories and many dear friends, I decided that I wanted to go further south and get closer to a city..This is how I discovered, quite by chance, the magnificent hamlet of San Gregorio. It was June and it was love at first sight !!! I loved this place from the very first moment - for its peace, the greenery around, the unspoiled nature, its beautiful houses, the proximity to the sea and the convenience of a city, Cagliari, nearby (by the way very beautiful).
I like the tranquility here, the mild climate in winter, the strong light and the sun. I like to take walks by the sea out of season or go into the thousand paths of the Parco dei Sette Fratelli, or walk in the Molentargius Park watching the flamingos that stop all year round. I like to climb the Sella del Diavolo with friends to enjoy the view over the Poetto and the entire Gulf - improvising an aperitif at sunset
I like to go to the San Benedetto market, stroll through the historic quarters of Cagliari, visit the Conti Vecchi Salt Pans countless times - wonderfully managed by the FAI. I like lying lazily sunbathing on the warm sand in spring.
I like being in my backyard reading a book in the sun, listening to the silence
I like having guests because it makes me happy to take care of someone and because Heaven must be shared!

A Slow holiday in Sardinia!
Founded by the Cagliari bourgeoisie at the end of the 19th century as a holiday resort, the small hamlet of San Gregorio has villas and gardens of remarkable beauty and perfectly preserved. It is a place of great peace and silence, completely immersed in nature. A few hundred meters from the village, the winding road called Campu Omu (the old Eastern Sardinian, SS125, which connected north and south of Sardinia), winds through breathtaking views to the coast. In the village there is a tiny church that opens only one day a year, on the occasion of the patron's feast.

Nice stay in the mountains of Sardinia. Perfekt for hiking and exploring the near mountains. The towns around are very small and you have to drive for eating in the evening.

The B&B San Gregorio is located in a small, but beautiful village not far away from Cagliari and in a beautiful, freshly renovated house. Despite arriving late in the evening, we had a warm welcome from Marzia and we spent a moment on the terrace surrounded by trees, without any noise and under the starry sky. The sleeping room is big, very clean and with a lovely decoration. We had our proper bathroom which was also perfectly clean. The freshly prepared breakfast was served outdoors in the garden, in a beautiful place. The breakfast was delicious and nothing was missing. Marzia is a very friendly host and gives a lot of advice how to spend the holidays at its best. Despite our short stay of only one night, we enjoyed it a lot and can strongly recommend this B&B! Thank you Marzia!

Saluti Angelica e Francesco.
