Welcome to Bed and Breakfast - Holiday Mr. Caruba, Stintino
Mr. Caruba is the new B&B in the beautiful village of Stintino.

Opened in April 2010 it was the brainchild of Claudio's friends and guests. It is a wonderful natural environment by the sea. The B&B is surrounded by greenery in a quiet resort halfway between the beaches and the center of Stintino in the North West part of Sardinia. The two floors of the house have an access from the ground floor where there is a spacious living room with a veranda and a double bedroom, upstairs there are the two additional bedrooms. Your B&B vacation is made more pleasant by a beautiful garden for relaxing in the cool shade of local trees after a day on the beach.

Nearest beaches:
“Ancora”: Small, white sandy beach, this is the closest one located about 400 meters away from the B & B. This is a well equipped, little tourist marina.

”Gabbiano”: situated within 1 km, is a beach with white, fine sand next to a crystalline sea, with an equipped, bar and restaurant on the seafront.

”La Pelosa” This is one of the most beautiful and famous beaches of north Sardinia.

Located 2 km away this marvellous beach with sand as white as talcum powder is still bewitching even for local Sardinians!
All 3 beaches are easily reachable on foot or by bike through a wide sea view sidewalk along the road. Additionally, guests may wish to rent a car to reach the little village of Stintino at just 1 km from the B & B. Alternatively, there is also a bus connecting the village to the entire seaside.

A wonderful holiday in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The hospitality and care at this property certainly convinced us to stay longer. Claudio, the host, was always available and kind and accommodated every request. The tranquility and simplicity of this B&B make the stay more relaxing. Great accommodation. Claudio is a great guy who is very helpful. The breakfast is great. There are eggs, fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts, muesli, etc. The room is very clean. You can reach the great restaurant Valentina on foot in 2 minutes. Very tasty pasta and large portions. Claudio lends beach umbrellas and mats for free. We would come back!

Claudio is a very helpful person, attentive to the needs of his guests. He always provides high-quality products, from local salami to ricotta, to the wonderful cakes he makes himself. It is definitely worth staying again. The quality-price ratio is very high.

The room was in a basement with only one window in the bathroom. The furniture smelled of mold. I wonder how it managed to get occupancy with a ceiling in the room of less than 2.40 meters. Standard breakfast without typical local products, but common things from the supermarket.

Ciarla mi dispiace quando ricevo delle recensioni così negative, ma visto che in Italia esiste una legge che tutela il consumatore, perché non a fatto questi reclami il primo giorno, avrebbe potuto andare via e cambiare B&B, Come prima cosa la casa è accatastata come civile abitazione, lo scantinato e ben altra cosa, secondo ha criticato la nostra colazione, be a vedere cosa vi mangiavate ogni giorno non mi è sembrato che non vi piacesse. Rispetto le critiche costruttive perché bisogna sempre migliorarsi ma disprezzo le ingiurie, quindi le consiglio per il futuro se una cosa non le va a genio o non rispetta le sue aspettative, di parlare col gestore che magari le avrebbe trovato un altra soluzione. Clean structure in an excellent position just a few minutes by car from Pelosa. The manager, Mr. Claudio, is a delightful person. In addition to personally preparing breakfast for us, he delighted us by explaining the winds and how the various days would be. Very kind and available person.

We stayed for 3 nights at this B&B. Cleanliness 10. Breakfast 10. Martina, a sweet and always available girl. Claudio, the owner, reachable at any time and always available. Very unique room, well maintained with private bathroom and with all towels and hairdryer. Great location, quiet and easy access. Highly recommend. Thank you for everything.

Perfect location, only 20 minutes walk from Spiaggia la Pelosa, 3 minutes by car. During the night, there is a perfect silence for sleeping. Just 3 minutes walk to overlook the sea. The owner, Claudio, is an incredible character! He is local, knows the sea and his land very well, providing excellent advice on where to go based on the wind. The B&B provides a beach umbrella for free. Free parking space. Good included breakfast! Definitely recommended!

I highly recommend the B&B MrCaruba because it is located in a quiet and strategic position to walk to the beaches of Pelosa and Gabbiano. In the surroundings, there are also places where you can dine by the sea, and if you wish, you can reach the center of Stintino in 5 minutes by car. The room was clean and, although small, very comfortable, equipped with windows in both the room and the bathroom and with air conditioning. The breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly baked croissants! The girl who prepares the breakfasts and Claudio, the host, are very friendly and down-to-earth and made us feel right at home.

Claudio and his wife are very welcoming, smiling, and helpful. They make us feel comfortable right from our arrival. We were quite a few during our stay, 5 guest rooms. I had a pleasant stay in Stintino. The house is located not far from the famous La Pelosa beach. We rented bikes because we didn't have a car, and it's better to have one to get around the center of Stintino (which is worth a visit (nice small restaurants or pizzerias, delicious ice cream, and a lovely port...). Breakfast is served in a bucolic setting with a variety of fresh and delicious products (special mention to the marble cake made by the lady!). The only downside: the seahorse room is a bit small and the mattress was leaning to one side.

Claudio is a super friendly host, who is full of knowledge of the Stintino area (sea and land). The property is a 20-minute walk away from La Pelosa and a slightly shorter walk into Stintino. Our room was functional (including AC and a washing machine) with the additional benefit of a private outside area as well as access to the communal areas. The B&B MrCaruba is cute though also suffering from a little bit of wear and tear that may be part of the charm for some.

I stayed in an apartment of B&B MrCaruba located in a splendid residential setting. The apartment is very clean and well organized, with a patio and garden offering a wonderful view. A special thanks to Mr. Graziano, who was extremely helpful from the first to the last day. The property is located one km from La Pelosa and other fantastic beaches.

Very nice host - communicative and helpful with all kinds of information / excursions - restaurants - places to visit - great location and view of the sea - delicious breakfast - homemade products - highly recommended. Thanks for everything - we will come back - Regards Corinna. Beds are a bit thin, especially the sofa bed is not suitable for more than one child aged 3-6 - mattress is too hard - our son was 13 and 8 years old - would be better just for one child.

The B&B MrCaruba is located just outside the village, in a quiet location (even in the middle of August!) and a stone's throw from the sea. The rooms are well furnished, the bathroom is large and comfortable. There are common areas and a refrigerator available for guests (very useful). The owners are present and helpful. The breakfast is very rich, sweet and savory, with lots of fruit (particularly appreciated by us). We stayed for three days, to visit Stintino, Asinara and the Capo Caccia area, and the experience was really pleasant. Recommended.

My partner and I stayed at this B&B, what can I say, it is in a good location not far from the beach and not even from the town center. The abundant breakfast, from sweet to savory, we will never forget those fabulous croissants and cappuccinos decorated like Picasso and Caravaggio. The homemade sweets and that fabulous organic honey. Not to mention the homemade myrtle offered by the owner Claudio who treated us very well. In the price he gave us, there was also the unforgettable boat trip with lunch on board, including appetizer, first course, dessert, fruit, coffee, and myrtle. I recommend it to everyone and we will definitely come back. It is economical for those who do not want to spend much and also because among the various rooms, we had the only one with a private kitchen that is external to the room and therefore is great for those who do not want to eat out all the time since being a renowned place around, the prices are not very low. I would also recommend it especially because we made many friends. Breakfast, in addition to being a meal, was a moment to be together, make friends, laugh, and joke. The treatment was the best and we thank Claudio so much for treating us like a king and queen.

We spent ten days at B&B MrCaruba in Stintino and we had a great time. The B&B is located near the most beautiful beaches of Stintino. Claudio is very kind and very good at managing the structure, which he is able to maintain at a good level even in his absence, relying on valid support. We will definitely return.
