Welcome to Bed and Breakfast - Holiday Mr. Caruba, Stintino
Mr. Caruba is the new B&B in the beautiful village of Stintino.

Opened in April 2010 it was the brainchild of Claudio's friends and guests. It is a wonderful natural environment by the sea. The B&B is surrounded by greenery in a quiet resort halfway between the beaches and the center of Stintino in the North West part of Sardinia. The two floors of the house have an access from the ground floor where there is a spacious living room with a veranda and a double bedroom, upstairs there are the two additional bedrooms. Your B&B vacation is made more pleasant by a beautiful garden for relaxing in the cool shade of local trees after a day on the beach.

Parking is available for your car.

Nearest beaches:
“Ancora”: Small, white sandy beach, this is the closest one located about 400 meters away from the B & B. This is a well equipped, little tourist marina.

”Gabbiano”: situated within 1 km, is a beach with white, fine sand next to a crystalline sea, with an equipped, bar and restaurant on the seafront.

”La Pelosa” This is one of the most beautiful and famous beaches of north Sardinia.

Located 2 km away this marvellous beach with sand as white as talcum powder is still bewitching even for local Sardinians!
All 3 beaches are easily reachable on foot or by bike through a wide sea view sidewalk along the road. Additionally, guests may wish to rent a car to reach the little village of Stintino at just 1 km from the B & B. Alternatively, there is also a bus connecting the village to the entire seaside.

Perfect location, only 20 minutes walk from Spiaggia la Pelosa, 3 minutes by car. During the night, there is a perfect silence for sleeping. Just 3 minutes walk to overlook the sea. The owner, Claudio, is an incredible character! He is local, knows the sea and his land very well, providing excellent advice on where to go based on the wind. The B&B provides a beach umbrella for free. Free parking space. Good included breakfast! Definitely recommended!

I highly recommend the B&B MrCaruba because it is located in a quiet and strategic position to walk to the beaches of Pelosa and Gabbiano. In the surroundings, there are also places where you can dine by the sea, and if you wish, you can reach the center of Stintino in 5 minutes by car. The room was clean and, although small, very comfortable, equipped with windows in both the room and the bathroom and with air conditioning. The breakfast was excellent, especially the freshly baked croissants! The girl who prepares the breakfasts and Claudio, the host, are very friendly and down-to-earth and made us feel right at home.

Claudio and his wife are very welcoming, smiling, and helpful. They make us feel comfortable right from our arrival. We were quite a few during our stay, 5 guest rooms. I had a pleasant stay in Stintino. The house is located not far from the famous La Pelosa beach. We rented bikes because we didn't have a car, and it's better to have one to get around the center of Stintino (which is worth a visit (nice small restaurants or pizzerias, delicious ice cream, and a lovely port...). Breakfast is served in a bucolic setting with a variety of fresh and delicious products (special mention to the marble cake made by the lady!). The only downside: the seahorse room is a bit small and the mattress was leaning to one side.

Claudio is a super friendly host, who is full of knowledge of the Stintino area (sea and land). The property is a 20-minute walk away from La Pelosa and a slightly shorter walk into Stintino. Our room was functional (including AC and a washing machine) with the additional benefit of a private outside area as well as access to the communal areas. The B&B MrCaruba is cute though also suffering from a little bit of wear and tear that may be part of the charm for some.

I stayed in an apartment of B&B MrCaruba located in a splendid residential setting. The apartment is very clean and well organized, with a patio and garden offering a wonderful view. A special thanks to Mr. Graziano, who was extremely helpful from the first to the last day. The property is located one km from La Pelosa and other fantastic beaches.

Great property, immersed in a beautiful garden. The owners are very kind and very nice. The breakfast is fabulous. Location more than good, a few minutes from La Pelosa beach. We highly recommend it.

B&B fantastico, gestito da persone meravigliose e davvero simpatiche e disponibili. Posto in una località comodissima sia per raggiungere le spiagge sia per andare al centro di Stintino, muovendosi a piedi, o con mezzi pubblici o in auto. Sicuramente consigliamo questa struttura e possiamo dire che se dovessimo tornare a Stintino, e torneremo sicuramente, vorremo soggiornare al MrCaruba.

Very nice host - communicative and helpful with all kind of informations / excursions - restaurants- places to visit- great location and view to the sea- delicious breakfast- homemade products- highly to be recommended. Thanks for all - we come again - Regards Corinna - beds are a bit thin, especially the sleeping couch is not ok for more than one child in the age of 3-6- mattress is too hard- our son was 13 and 8 years old- would be better only for one child.

Il B&B si trova appena fuori dal paese, in una posizione tranquilla (anche in pieno agosto!) e a un passo dal mare. Le camere sono ben arredate, il bagno grande e comodo. Ci sono spazi comuni e un frigorifero a disposizione degli ospiti (molto utile). Le proprietarie sono presenti e disponibili. Molto ricca la colazione, dolce e salata, con tanta frutta (da noi particolarmente apprezzata). Ci siamo fermati tre giorni, per visitare Stintino, Asinara e la zona di Capo Caccia e l'esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. Consigliato.

Questo B&B, immerso nel verde e vicino alle spiagge più belle, è speciale grazie a Claudio (Ms Caruba), che ti accoglie, ti ospita, ti coccola, ti informa, ti racconta, ti consiglia, ti coinvolge condividendo con te il momento della colazione facendoti sentire come a casa ! Inoltre ti offre l' opportunità di usare le bici o di fare una giornata in barca essendo Lui uno skipper! Lo consiglio anche per la posizione, il posteggio auto e la vicinanza ad un ottimo Ristorante raggiungibile a piedi, con bella vista verso la Pelosa! Un riconoscimento vada anche alla Signora Vanna gentilissima collaboratrice!

Io e il mio compagno siamo stati in questo B&B, che dire, si trova in una posizione buona non lontana dalla spiaggia e nemmeno dal centro del Paese. La colazione abbondante dal dolce al salato non potremmo mai dimenticare quei cornetti favolosi e i cappuccini decorati alla Picasso e alla Caravaggio. I dolci fatti in casa e quel miele biologico favoloso. Per non parlare del mirto fatto in casa offertoci dal titolare Claudio che ci ha trattato benissimo. Nel prezzo che ci ha fatto era compresa anche la gita in barca indimenticabile con pranzo a bordo con antipasto, primo, dolce, frutta, caffè e mirto. Lo consiglio a tutti e sicuramente ci torneremo. È economico per chi non vuole spendere molto e anche perché fra le varie stanze, noi avevamo l'unica con la cucina privata che è esterna alla camera e quindi è ottimo per chi non vuole mangiare sempre fuori dato che essendo un posto rinomato in giro i prezzi non sono bassissimi. Inoltre lo consiglierei soprattutto perché abbiamo fatto tante amicizie. La colazione oltre che un pasto era un momento per stare insieme e stringere amicizia, ridere e scherzare. Il trattamento è stato dei migliori e ringraziamo tanto Claudio che ci ha trattati come un Re e una Regina.

Volevamo ringraziare Claudio e la gentilissima Sonia che ogni mattina ci accoglieva per la bellissima colazione. Il nostro soggiorno termina oggi 21/08 ma torneremo sicuramente il prossimo anno. Grazie di cuore anzi vi invito al B&b di mia madre Casa Pontecorvi Località Velletri provincia di Roma.

Abbiamo trascorso dieci giorni al MrCaruba di Stintino e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il B&B è posizionato vicino alle più belle spiagge di Stintino. Claudio è gentilissimo e molto bravo nella gestione della struttura della quale riesce a mantenere il buon livello anche in sua assenza, avvalendosi di validi supporti. Ci torneremo sicuramente!
