The Alguer Bed and Breakfast is located in the perfect position to enjoy the historic center of Alghero and its enchanting sea view. This facility offers you the opportunity to stay in comfortable rooms, completely renovated in 2018, each equipped with a private bathroom, air conditioning, free WiFi and a TV. Here you will find a quadruple double room, a studio for 3 people with a kitchenette and a double room. At the top of the building, you can relax on the beautiful terrace-solarium with sea views, equipped with a barbecue, gazebo and sun loungers. Among other services, you will find bath and bed linen, hairdryer, microwave, coffee machine and fridge. In addition, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning to guarantee maximum comfort. Highly recommended. Great location, clean room equipped with all comforts. Gabriele, the owner, is a very helpful person. The breakfast prepared by Cristina on the terrace with a view of Alghero is fantastic. The only downside is the very steep stairs that lead to the rooms. We will definitely return.

Perfect location in the old town of Alghero. Loved the breakfast on the rooftop. In the evening you can also use the rooftop to relax and watch the sunset. Magical! If you have mobility issues, you have to climb up to the 2nd floor and the steps are steep. We did not and it was worth it. The staff was super nice and made us feel at home. They also have beach umbrellas you can borrow.

Unfortunately, our stay was not satisfactory. The owner did everything possible to accommodate us, and his kindness and availability are excellent. However, our room (with a loft and a small kitchen) was not up to par. Starting from the air conditioning, which although certainly modern and theoretically capable of cooling the apartment, only cooled the living area due to its position. The loft where the bed was located was unbearable due to the heat (so much so that we had to bring the mattress down to be able to sleep). Additionally, you cannot leave the air conditioning on during the day or during dinner while you are out of the room (as is done in hotels, for example), so inevitably the environment will remain warm. The entrance door lacks rubber seals and consequently, being very thin and double-leafed, it bangs every time another guest closes the doors of the other rooms/main door and provides no soundproofing. Out of the 4 windows present (one of which is glass block), only one has shutters, so a lot of light comes in early in the morning despite the red curtains. A very relevant final point is the parking. If you arrive by car especially in July/August, it will be impossible to find parking, both free and paid, on the streets of Alghero near the historic center, so if you have a car, it will be very complicated...

Vi ringraziamo per la recensione ma vorremmo dare una risposta per completezza. Per quanto riguarda l aria condizionata abbiamo un impianto da 12000 btu per una camera di circa 30 mq oltre che forniamo un ventilatore ultima generazione per il Soppalco. Il fatto che ci sia caldo in Sardegna a fine luglio lo consideriamo una fortuna (per questo i turisti vengono qui), forse i ns ospiti abituati a climi più nordici avrebbero fatto meglio a scegliere altri lidi o altri periodi Dell anno più idonei alla loro richiesta di temperature miti. Per quanto riguarda l impossibilità di tenere acceso il condizionatore senza essere in stanza non sappiamo quali alberghi conoscano questi ospiti, ma per sicurezza e anche per ragioni ambientali non ci sembra molto normale lasciare un condizionatore acceso h 24 senza essere presenti in struttura. Per quanto riguarda la porta è una normalissima porta da interno interamente in legno, non sappiamo qaule fosse il problema infatti in 18 anni di servizio è la prima volta che un ospite fa presente questo problema. Infine è vero che in camera abbiamo addirittura 3 finestre (non 4 come scritto e come si vede dalle foto) ma anche in questo caso c'è una piccola dimenticanza nella recensione, ogni finestra ha per copertura una spessa stoffa di tessuto sardo. A questi gentili ospiti consiglio visto le loro particolari necessità e richieste (assoluto silenzio e oscurità totale e temperature polari d estate) magari di far presente alla struttura in fase di prenotazione queste loro peculiarità in modo da poter godere al meglio della propria vacanza e non inficiare l altrui lavoro.

We spent 2 very nice days in Alghero, the breakfast on the terrace is exceptional. Very nice hosts, beautiful room in the green courtyard. Only downside: a very steep staircase must be climbed to reach the upper floor. Tip: arrive with only small suitcases or backpack. Gabriele was so kind and helped us with the luggage during the "descent". Thanks again!

Perfectly located in the historical center but close to the seafront of Alghero, the B&B Alguer is an excellent solution for overnight stays and relaxation on the pleasant terrace. Hospitable owners and available for every need. Highly recommended.

Gabriele, the manager, is an exceptional person! Always available for anything and information. The structure is very beautiful and comfortable in the city center. Small terrace for breakfast with a wonderful view of the sea and the city! We really enjoyed our stay! Congratulations for everything.

First of all, I want to thank Gabriele because he is really the unexpected plus. Lovely studio suite equipped with every comfort and fantastic sea view terrace.
