Description

The Bed and Breakfast Al Rimedio is a typical and prestigious house from Campidano perfectly preserved. It has precious walls made of "Ladiri" (mud and straw bricks) that protect from any radiation. It is surrounded by greenery, facing a beautiful and well-kept park, and has an inner garden where you can stay and relax while having breakfast or reading the newspaper. It also has a parking area accessed through an ancient gate.

We are in a strategic position, 5 minutes away from the center of Oristano and the most important beaches and archaeological sites of the Sinis peninsula.

In the surroundings, it is possible to practice sports activities such as horse riding, rowing, excursions to the island of Mal di Ventre and the municipal park of Seu, fishing tourism, and surfing.

The winter stay offers the opportunity to visit the artistic beauties that the city of Oristano, rich in history and traditions, offers, as well as the characteristic villages in the surrounding area with their festivals and natural beauties. It also provides the opportunity to witness one of the oldest equestrian tournaments in Europe: "Sa Sartiglia," a carousel made of colors, shapes, noises, and sensations that can only be experienced by attending it directly.

Guests are provided with information about itineraries of places to visit, in order to better organize their stay.

We are a few meters from the ancient Sanctuary, Basilica Nostra Signora del Rimedio, one of the most visited places in Sardinia by Marian devotees, a pilgrimage destination all year round.

On the same street as the Bed and Breakfast is one of the most important Rehabilitation Centers, the Santa Maria Bambina Rehabilitation Center.

The only downside is the windows' excessive proximity to a particularly busy road, causing excessive noise that forces them to be kept closed for very long periods.

The structure is located in a good position from which by car you can quickly reach both the city and the seaside resorts. The two managers were very kind and hospitable and at breakfast they also offered us huge custard pastries and very fresh croissants. I appreciated the structure very much, whose ancient construction represents its greatest value for internal freshness and for the excellent division of spaces in accordance with the best Sardinian traditions. However, in my opinion, all these qualities are not fully exploited by the managers to whom I suggest asking for the collaboration of someone capable of better taking care of the furnishings to bring out the full potential of a truly valuable building. Excellent value for money.

We recommend this bed and breakfast for hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and originality of style. We stayed at this B&B for only one night and felt right at home. The rooms are spacious and full of every comfort. The bathroom is spacious, the shower is large and comes with towels and a hairdryer. There is also a TV and air conditioning. Breakfast was simple but of good quality: fresh and large croissants and a cappuccino prepared instantly like at home. We will definitely keep it in mind for future vacations in Sardinia.

I stayed for 16 days in August, family-friendly and quiet environment, father and son are helpful, rooms complete with air conditioning and TV, only downside the doors are a bit light for privacy, breakfast is good and quite complete, the only thing, in my opinion, a croissant or brioche I would recommend having them every day. Great location just a step away from Oristano and the beautiful beaches, in areas to reach by car in a few minutes. I highly recommend it.

We found the structure simple yet comfortable and the welcome of this B&B. Convenient for children because it has a small garden with a gazebo, and for us to wash and hang clothes. Clean, good breakfast with yogurt, milk, cappuccino, tea, biscuits and various jams, and often fresh croissants. To reach beaches or Oristano center, you need to have a car. The location is strategic enough. Overall a satisfying solution for our needs.
