Description

Located within the enchanting La Maddalena Archipelago and its namesake park, B&B Il Melograno is an excellent starting point for your sun and sea vacation. It is situated in a peaceful area, even during the bustling summer season when life on the island becomes more lively.

Within a few minutes, you can reach all the beaches and the town center.

The property is located on the ground floor and offers two double rooms, Delfino Room and Gabbiano Room, with additional beds. They are equipped with heating, the possibility of air conditioning, and a private bathroom. There is also a spacious living room, Farfalle Living Room, where breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

For guests' convenience, we provide an iron and ironing board, towel rack, hairdryer, fridge, freezer, and our full availability to cater to your needs.

There is ample parking available just a few meters away. Additionally, near the parking area, there is a bus stop where you can catch a bus to reach the town center and all the beaches on the island, including Caprera Island.

We were treated like family. The hostess was wonderful: in the mornings she made us fresh omelettes and the property is truly a gem. The husband is friendly and the hostess very pleasant. If we have the chance we will return. Oh, I almost forgot: the room and the sheets were spotlessly clean and fragrant, furnished with taste.

A loving hostess and a charmingly furnished accommodation. For breakfast, one can choose between savory and sweet; there were even apricots and lemons from the garden :) a first-class parking space for motorcycles is available. In 15 minutes you can reach Caprera - at the beach. Antonietta was very helpful with many questions, such as reservations.

We had a magnificent time. Ms. Antonietta and Elisabetta were fantastic, kind, and available. Just a 20-minute walk from B&B Il Melograno, walking through the Mediterranean scrub, you can find one of the most beautiful coves of La Maddalena, La Cala Testa del Polpo. By car or public transport, you can reach all the most beautiful coves of La Maddalena or Caprera. A highly recommended stay.

Generally, it was a good stay, clean and comfortable. The host, Maria Antonieta, was very kind. Something to improve: the bathroom would need renovation, we found some ants, and the floor above is quite noisy especially in the early morning.

We stayed 5 days at B&B Il Melograno. The structure is very simple. The room is very nice, fragrant, clean, and spacious. The 2 double beds are very comfortable. The landlady is very helpful, ready to give every suggestion for trips with interesting insights. Not far from the center of La Maddalena and reachable by car in less than 5 minutes. Simple but complete breakfast with a bit of everything. I would gladly return. Thank you!

Great place to stay in La Maddalena. Super hospitable and kind owner, clean, quiet, and peaceful room. The fridge in the room is very convenient (we stayed in the dolphin room), also nice to have an outdoor space where you can hang out and use a table to relax in the open air. No problem with parking, easily found on the street. Abundant breakfast. 100% recommend.

We stayed only one night at this B&B Il Melograno but we had a great time! I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, truly impeccable, and the kindness of Mrs. Elisabetta who welcomed us. It is definitely easier to reach the property by car but it is really close to Caprera and 10 minutes from the center of La Maddalena. We will definitely come back.

All good except for the lady's availability. I had explicitly asked to be able to use the shower after doing the Caprera half. The lady was uncooperative and wanted an extra 20 euros to use the shower beyond the scheduled check-out time. Never happened in all the years I've been running. Patience.
