Description

At Fourth is a luxury villa which lies just 20 meters from the seashore, between the renowned and beautiful beach of Cagliari, Poetto and the naturalistic oasis of Molentargius.

Originally built in late 60’s and fully refurbished with high standard specifications in early 2022, At Fourth is a ground floor house surrounded by a lush and peaceful garden, well suited and outfitted to be enjoyed throughout the year.

The surrounding area has plenty of activities to offer and because of the very convenient location, it is possible to take advantage both of the city services and amusement, bearing in mind the outstanding beach proximity just crossing the main beach promenade.

Also the stunning naturalistic oasis of Molentargius park is located just a few hundreds meters from At Fourth, enclosing the whole marine area and whereas it is possible to observe an abundant and variegated fauna, such as the pink flamingos, during any season.

At Fourth, any solution in order to obtain a cozy and welcoming environment has been fully considered and taken into account. Simple, bright and comfortable spaces have been imagined and devised for this specific purpose, in symbiosis with the spirit of the surrounding area and to comply with the customer needs.

For instance, during summer period the breakfast would be also served within the flourishing garden.

An independent air-conditioning unit and heating is fitted in all rooms and in addition the following services are provided:

- Safe box to lock up and to preserve values
Each bedroom is really comfortable and has its own ensuite bathroom. They are equipped with any necessary fittings and appliances (i. e. WC, bidet, shower and hairdryer).

B&B very welcoming. The property has a very beautiful and usable garden and a splendid terrace. Clean rooms, fantastic shower and good breakfast served in the garden. Maria Luce is an excellent host, ready to give advice, help you discover curiosities and always smiling, accompanied by her little Potter ready to give a loving good morning to all guests. It is truly a beautiful place, where you can breathe an atmosphere of tranquility and peace, despite being a stone's throw from a popular beach. Highly recommended, you will not regret it.

The place was decent overall. The exterior is lovely and it's very close to the beach. Inside, the room and bathroom were clean, but unfortunately, the towels had a strong, unpleasant odor. We ended up leaving them outside so the smell wouldn't linger in the room. The room itself shares walls and a connecting door with neighboring rooms, and we could hear conversations and other noises quite clearly, which made things a little uncomfortable. The bed also had a strange mattress or cover that made noise with every movement, which made it tough to get a good night's sleep.

We have been here for 5 days from May 21 to May 26, 2025, and had a very good time. The property is near the sea (less than 100 meters) and is in a quiet part of the city. The city center is about 10-15 minutes by car. We had the room "air" and it was like in the photos. Not too big but enough for a few days. The bathroom had a good shower and was very clean.\nBreakfast made by Maria-Luce was very good and enough. Every day something special with homemade cakes, etc.\nBread, cakes, yogurt, fruit, fruit juices, tea, coffee, jam, and more.\nBig garden where you can stay in the sun or shade.\nMaria-Luce is very kind and helpful for her guests. Maria is an unusually helpful and friendly host, in whose house we felt very comfortable. The location right on the beach of Cagliari and the proximity to the capital (20 minutes by bus, stop "around the corner") were perfect for us. We can recommend this accommodation!

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy house, located in a prime spot just a short distance from Poetto Beach, a beautiful and expansive beach, perfect for long walks. The house is hosted by Maria Luce, a very friendly and welcoming lady who made our stay even more enjoyable with her warm hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were spotless. It is only a 15-minute drive to the center of Cagliari, making it an ideal location to explore the city while also being close to the beach. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back.

Excellent welcome, very close to the sea, very comfortable mattress, but the highlight is the mascot that every morning, Potter, a dachshund, arrived with Maria to prepare breakfast. Nearby, many restaurants and free beach, Mrs. Maria also provides umbrellas. Thank you for everything.

Main point, the welcome and availability from the property, Maria Luce and her mom are two fantastic people, super kind and helpful. The property is furnished in an old style with brand new and modern bathrooms. There is practically nothing missing. A large and beautiful garden where you can relax in complete silence and a stone's throw from the beautiful Poetto beach. Everything is within reach, you don't even need a car if you want. I had a great time, very comfortable B&B for beach access, very close 2 minutes walk, tidy and clean room, and above all the friendliness of Maria Luce and her mother who provided excellent service with an extra towel when unfortunately mine got soaked due to a wave from the sea. So much availability on the part of the facility and a lovely place, especially the garden to enjoy relaxing days near Poetto beach.

I have chosen to rank this property with high ratings across every category, for the following reasons: \n\nOur host Mario, was very accommodating and extremely pleasant to talk to, providing a welcoming atmosphere and relaxed stay. Our room was completely without issue, clean and well presented. With original tiled features on the floor, a small personal refrigerator and black out roller shutter on the windows, we were delighted with our choice of accommodation. \n\nIn addition, the en-suite bathroom had lovely touches with a great space-saving sliding door, bidet and rainfall-style shower head. Mario's choice of tiles was very much to our taste as well. Encompassing a king-size bed and an air conditioning unit to make the hot nights more comfortable, there is very little I can fault. \n\nThe secure B&B is set back from the main beachfront road (Viale Lungo Mare Poetto), on Via Stromboli and although Poetto beach doesn't seem to get much sleep, the area is surprisingly quiet at night so getting forty winks here was no issue at all. Cafe Oasi is literally a stone's throw away, providing chilled out live music and a decent menu, a great place to unwind and have a last couple of cold Peronis after sampling the culinary delights in Cagliari's Old Town. An added bonus is it's only a twenty-minute stroll to Marina Piccola and the bus stop is just around the corner on Via Ausonia. A brilliant location all around. \n\nBreakfast was served every morning at a relaxed pace, with cereal, espresso, a selection of jams, toast and some lovely blood orange juice, which I found particularly refreshing in the late June heat. \n\nAlthough our flight out of Sardinia was cancelled, Mario was a consummate host and allowed us to store our bags inside the house while we waited for the taxi to the airport, which he kindly booked for us. All in all, At Fourth B&B provided us with a peaceful, safe stay in the district of Cagliari, and I would not hesitate to stay again for a return visit. Highly recommended.

Excellent location just a stone's throw from the beach (Poetto). Very charming structure with a beautiful garden, spacious and immaculately clean new rooms, also with furniture probably inherited from their family (beautiful), equipped with a fridge and every comfort. Really beautiful, spacious and brand new bathroom, breakfast in the garden is complete: from freshly toasted bread to fresh jams, juice, fresh fruit (figs from their tree), tarts, croissants and cereals, cappuccino better than the bar, also soy, and also various Arborea yogurts. The hosts are very cute, sweet and exquisite people... My parents, forced to go to another B&B, envied me a lot. In short, I highly recommend it and will definitely be back, and so will my parents! Ps. They also have many other ideas to make it even more beautiful, so it deserves everything. Thank you very much.
