Sardinia Arba at Ashar Bed and Breakfast
Charming Bed and Breakfast in 500m from the Bay of Porto Frailis.

The property consists of three bedrooms with private baths, living room, veranda and garden.

Motorbikes have a reserved parking.

The village is quite end well served by restaurants, pizzerias and bars.

The marina and the Arbatax Train Station are less than a km, from here there are excursions by boat to the gorgeous "Cale" (Goloritzè, Mariolu, Sisine, Biriola, Luna), and the one for the mountain with the "Green Train".

Sardinia Arba at Ashar
Located in the middle of Mediterranean Sea, Sardinia is certainly the best place for who is looking a brilliant break without noise and stress.

Across the island you will be charmed by the magnificent landscapes, beautiful beaches, mountains, the many nuraghis that remind us of an ancient civilization.

Sardinia also distinguishes itself in its delicious traditional cuisine, made with genuine food, local products, delicious cheese, wine and sweets.

Along the eastern coast of the island is located Arbatax, a little village full of beautiful beaches and surrounded of a picturesque mountainous amphitheatre.

An ideal place for nature's lovers, seductive beaches, hiking trails and the breathtaking mountain bikes, genuine food rich of flavours.

The sea coast of Arbatax is distinguished by Lido di cea, Lido di Orrì, Saracen, Porto Frailis, the rocky promontory of the Telis and Calamoresca, Red Rocks, the Poniente beach.

Recommended are excursions to Cale, which you can do by sea in the boat, the sailing ship (with lunch on board), in boat, kayak, or by land with hiking trails and mountain bikes unique and unforgettable.

The sea trip includes a visit to Perda Longa, Capo di Monte santo, Porto Pedrosu, Portu Quau, Cala Goloritzè, Cala dei Gabbiani, Cala Mariolu, Grotta del Fico, Cala Biriola, Cala Sisine, Cala Luna, Grotte del Bue Marino.

Among the hiking trails and mountain bikes, we recommend Goloritzè, Cala Sisine, Cala Mariolu, Cala Biriola, Codula di Luna, S'Istrada Longa, and ultimately for lovers of the genre, a journey lasting several days along the coast of the park.

It's also raccomanded a trip with "Green Train", from Arbatax to Mandas, this is another way to learn about the interior of the island, its mountains and its landscapes.

Sardinian Low Cost Holidays – Bed & breakfast “Arba at Ashar” is located in Arbatax, little town in the Est coast of the Island. It is a very nice place for your holidays, here you can find a lot of amazing beaches; Porto Frailis beach dist 500m from the B&B.

Other beaches to visit are Lido di Orrì, Lido di Cea, Il Gilfetto, Il Saraceno, Promontorio di Bellavista, Cala Moresca, Scogli Rossi, La Capannina, all these places dist from the B&B from 500m to 7km. You can visit them by car, bicycle, public tran sport.

From the seaport (one km from the B&B) you could hire a little rubber dinghy or get a boat to visit the charming place in the “Golfo di Orosei”, Pedra Longa, Cala Goloritzè, Cala Sisine, cala Luna (the trip starts at 9: 00am and finish at 6: 00 pm), you can find the image in the video “Arba at Ashar” on youtube.

Only for our client we organize trip in the “Park of Gennargentu”, horse riding, lunch or dinner in farms located inside of the mountain (unforgettable experience).

Another nice trip is taking the “Trenino verde”, an old railway from Arbatax to Cagliari mandas; the train leave Arbatax at 8: 00am and come back at 8: 00pm. You can do all route until Mandas, or to visit a typical Sardinian town in the mountain, visit the cave “Su Marmuri”, and have lunch in a typical Sardinian restaurant.

How to get us: London Stansted – Cagliari – Arbatax or London Stansted – Alghero - Arbatax
Cagliari Airport: EasyJet airfly company (Stansted-cagliari) – Here you can hire a car, take a coach Cagliari – Tortolì-Arbatax (eleven euro), or a taxi (thirty per person in a cab of nine people).

Alghero Airport: Rynair (Stansted – Alghero) – Here you can hire a car, take a coach to Nuoro, and there change for Tortolì-Arbatax.

Arba 'at Ashar is located in Arbatax, in the Porto Frailis area, just 700 meters away from the beach. Porto Frailis is the tourist center of Ogliastra, where you can find restaurants and bars by the sea. Moreover, you will be provided with information regarding various typical local restaurants, farmhouses, and a fish restaurant, offering land and sea menus at affordable prices.

Ogliastra is known for its beautiful coastline full of beaches and cliffs, the Gennargentu Marine Park (which can be visited by boat, rafting or trekking paths), the Gennargentu Park, the Santa Barbara Forest, and the Tacchi Park.

Arbatax is served by a port (Tirrenia ships), an airport, and the Cagliari-Arbatax railway (recommended "green train" route).

I stayed at this B&B for 10 days in mid-August and I had a great time; the owners are very kind, they make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and the services functional. Due to its location, you can easily reach both the Porto Frailis beach and the Arbatax area. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay and feel welcomed as part of the family, this is the place for you.

Great stay, we felt at home! Erminia, the owner, is a beautiful person, very kind and helpful. The B&B is brand new and is located a few minutes walk from Porto Frailis beach; both Arbatax and Tortolì city centers are easily reachable by car in a few minutes.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo meraviglioso posto 10 giorni e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Io nn ero mai stata in Sardegna ed è bellissima, mare e spiagge stupende. Il B&B è molto accogliente e la signora Erminia è dolce e sempre disponibile è come essere a casa! La colazione è un rito con le torte di fichi e di mele della signora Erminia, buonissime! Spero di tornarci presto!

Ho soggiornato otto giorni e non posso che essere soddisfatta. Struttura in ottima posizione, camera pulitissima, fresca e, soprattutto tranquilla. Spazio relax all'aperto dove consumare abbondanti colazioni con un giardino curato nei minimi dettagli. Poi che dire della signora Erminia e ai figli, professionalità, cortesia, insieme al calore umano, ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Soprattutto c'è sempre un sorriso e una carezza al cuore. This was the best breakfast we had among all the B&B we've done in Sardegna: In addition to the traditional breakfast we had to chose among fresh fruits and a lot of different home made cakes. Room was clean with high ceiling and private bathroom. Family was particularly welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place !

Il B&B è molto carino, pulito e accogliente. La posizione è abbastanza comoda per raggiungere il centro del paese, a due passi da diversi market e ristoranti della zona. La signora Erminia è stata molto gentile con noi, senz'altro consiglierei a chiunque di soggiornare qui.

Che dire? Erano anni che non andavo in Sardegna e dopo queste ferie ho già programmato le prossime, a Dio piacendo, e tornerò sicuramente al Arba 'at 'Ashar. Struttura curata, pulita, silenziosa e con un bel giardino. Colazione sotto il porticato e tanti piccoli particolari e attenzioni che hanno fatto di questa vacanza una bellissima esperienza, grazie alla costante e discreta presenza della signora Erminia e dei suoi familiari. La struttura si trova in posizione centrale, vicina ai servizi e al mare; il gestore, la signora Erminia, è come una grande mamma, accudisce i suoi clienti come dei figli, sempre disponibile e pronta ad ogni richiesta. Ringrazio la signora Erminia per la bellissima settimana passata anche in sua compagnia, facendo quattro chiacchiere come vecchi amici. Ho alloggiato al Il B&B Arba at Ashar, con la mia famiglia, per tre giorni e siamo stati benissimo. Lo consiglierei a chiunque perché è molto accogliente, pulito e confortevole. La proprietaria, signora Erminia, è stata molto gentile e disponibile a venire incontro alle esigenze della mia famiglia (due bambini, uno di sette anni l'altro di 9 mesi). Se dovessi ritornare ad Arbatax, sicuramente sceglierei questo B&B.
