Description

La Pedrera Bed & Breakfast welcomes you to Alghero, just 300 metres from the beach, easily reached on foot. Located on the second floor of a modern building with step-free access, in a quiet and peaceful residential area, it offers a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Giuseppe and Barbara, passionate about travelling and their beautiful island of Sardinia, are happy to provide local tips, tourist information and a small library dedicated to the area.

The B&B offers a double bedroom with a private bathroom, independent air conditioning, wardrobe, desk and all the comforts for a pleasant stay. A second bedroom is available on request for families or groups of up to 5 guests and shares the bathroom. Guests also have access to a shared living area for breakfast and relaxation.

Small pets are welcome upon prior agreement and subject to an additional charge.

I’m Giuseppe, I’m 50 years old, and together with my wife Barbara and our children Diana and Diego, I run our B&B in the apartment where we live for part of the year.

We are Sardinians and love sharing the beauty and authenticity of our land with our guests.

Barbara and I both work at the University of Sassari, where we met as students of Economics. We love travelling, including with our children, and I have always had a passion for photography.

We enjoy meeting people from all over the world and making them feel at home, even if only for a few days.

I am an amateur photographer and I do hiking trips as often as I can. Both of us work at the University of Sassari, where we met when students and have achieved together a degree in Economics.

We love to travel and do it as often as we can, both for business and pleasure, now along with our children!

Our stay was very pleasant. Giuseppe is a punctual and friendly host; he was very kind and helpful to us. The house is pleasant, clean and has all the comforts. It is not close to the center of Alghero but is close to the Lido beaches. Convenient parking in the area (June). We would definitely return.

Giuseppe welcomed us very well. He is a very pleasant person who spoke French very well. The room was prepared as requested during our exchanges. We were able to park easily on the street. The accommodation is located on a quiet street in a peaceful neighborhood with residential buildings, an 8-minute walk from the sea. Perfect as a final stop before taking the return ferry to Porto Torres.

The structure is equipped with all the comforts in a perfect position to reach the beaches comfortably on foot and with the stroller. Giuseppe and his wife are very kind and welcoming. In addition, They provide games for the little ones.

The hosts were super kind and didn't let us miss anything. Room cleaned every day. The structure is very close to the beaches and 2 km from the center, it would be ideal to have a bike to move around well. Otherwise, everything was really perfect.

Very pleasant stay! Giuseppe is a fantastic host, friendly and always available. Throughout the stay, he recommended several places to visit and took care multiple times to give us some tips to avoid unfavorable weather conditions. He also gave us a ride from the airport to the B&B. Abundant breakfast and frequently replenished. Towels and rooms perfectly clean. In short, go there because you won't find a B&B and a host like this anywhere else! We recommend renting the scooter that allows you to reach the center in 6-8 minutes while enjoying the promenade. I would definitely consider this B&B for future stays! Thank you Giuseppe and Barbara for everything! Christian and Matteo (Los Pasajeros).

Ideal place for a vacation both with family and friends. The property is in a very convenient location, 300 m from the beach and is also close to bus stops for both the center and the beaches. A very good welcome from Giuseppe, the owner of the property. He was extremely kind to provide transportation to the airport despite late and early hours. Very attentive and available, Giuseppe is a wonderful host who speaks French very well! A very good address to remember in Alghero, a city surrounded by wonderful beaches and delicious cuisine.

Barbara and Giuseppe made us feel at home. The room is perfect, with air conditioning and a small balcony. Perfect breakfast and location practically by the sea, about twenty minutes from the center. We hope to come back soon.
