Our home features two cozy "spaces" designed for those looking to enjoy a vacation filled with freedom and comfort. They are not just ordinary rooms; they are spacious and versatile environments where you can truly relax without feeling confined within four walls. Each space invites you to unwind and savor every moment.
The Multicolor space, vibrant and full of colors, is located on the raised ground floor and has a private entrance. The Jonathan space, inspired by the book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull, " is situated on the first floor and can be accessed from the kitchen/breakfast area without compromising your privacy. Both spaces include a bedroom, a living room, a hallway, and a bathroom, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay.
In each space, you will find the essentials to prepare tea, coffee, or herbal tea, a refrigerator for your drinks, and a flat-screen TV with Netflix/Prime for your relaxation time. Additionally, they come with free Wi-Fi to keep you connected at all times.
The breakfast, typically Italian, is crafted to meet your needs, with a focus on detail. When the weather permits, you can enjoy the various corners of the small garden surrounding the house, equipped to ensure tranquility and privacy for all guests.
I personally handle the cleaning, accommodating your needs, and am always available to address special requests or to make your stay even more enjoyable. I look forward to offering you an authentic experience that emphasizes comfort and freedom.

Hello everyone, I’m Anna and I warmly welcome you!
I have been the owner of this charming house for over twenty years, and it has undergone many changes alongside me. During the winter season, Santa lives here with me, while I enjoy my own company for the rest of the year. This is why I decided to open my home to those looking to spend a few vacation days in this lovely part of Italy.
I want to emphasize that I don’t have experience in the hospitality industry, but I will be guided by my instincts and my heart, always respecting my guests. My aim is to create an atmosphere of mutual enjoyment that is simple and authentic. I will do my best to meet every request. I have a deep love for this house and I only ask for mutual respect. It is a place filled with meaningful objects and memories, a vibrant home to inhabit.
But why “Zizzihome”? “Zizzi” refers (though the story is long!) to the love of my life, my son Filippo, who happily lives in London. “Home” evokes the deeper meaning of the word: it’s not just “house” or “building,” but also “hearth” and “family.”

The house is located in a very advantageous spot in the Legro district. It is just a three-minute walk from the Orta-Miasino train station, a 20-minute stroll from the historic center of Orta (1. 8 km), and a 13-minute walk from the equipped beach and the “Luci sul Lago” restaurant/pizzeria. A few steps away you'll find "Birreria il Cantuccio" which offers quick meals, pizzas, excellent beers and generous aperitifs.
There's no need to emphasize the beauty of Orta; it truly is a charming village! A few minutes away is the “Villa Crespi” hotel, famous for its renowned chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, and just a short walk away is the “Il Cantuccio” brewery/pub.
From Legro, numerous trails lead to woodland walks, offering breathtaking views of the lake. It's worth noting that Legro is part of the national circuit of “Painted Villages, ” providing an open-air gallery dedicated to films shot along the shores of the lake and in Piedmont. My home also features a piece dedicated to the film “Jacob und Adele” by Hans-Jurgen Togel, produced by German television. Additionally, it is adorned with a frame and a film reel depicting the faces of Piero Chiara, Gianni Rodari, Mario Saldati, and Augusto Mazzetti, all historic admirers of this location.
In just 15-20 minutes, you can reach Mottarone (1491 meters), where the view from the summit is simply spectacular. It stretches from the Maritime Alps to Monviso, from Monte Rosa to the Swiss Alps, all the way to the Po Valley and seven lakes! Here, you can find amenities such as an Adventure Park, a Trail Park, and Alpiland, a bobsled track overlooking Lake Maggiore. In short, fun and joy are guaranteed for everyone, both young and old!
