Description

Located in the picturesque historic centre of Costigliole d'Asti, just a few metres from the majestic castle and in an unparalleled landscape setting, Vicolo al Castello - Langhe e Monferrato Suites offers two suites with WiFi and splendid panoramic views over the enchanting UNESCO hills of the Langhe and Monferrato. Each room has a large private panoramic balcony/terrace, smart TV and private bathroom accessible directly from the bedroom. The bathrooms are equipped with all comforts (bidet, large Italian-style shower and hairdryer) and amenities to make guests feel at home. The kitchen (fully equipped with induction hob, refrigerator/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine,...) with its dining area, as well as the wonderful terrace located on the top floor with a view of the UNESCO hills, are for the common use of guests. In the event of booking the entire flat, the kitchen, dining area and terrace, as well as all the rooms and spaces of the entire dwelling, totalling approximately 140 square metres, will be for the exclusive use of the guests. In case of bookings of the entire apartment i) with more than 4 people and/or ii) lasting more than 4 days, following numerous damages received from guests and not adequately reported to the manager, a security deposit of 150 euro is required (by bank transfer/credit card/paypal/satispay, or alternatively cash) which will be returned at the end of the stay following the appropriate checks.

Hi! My name is Luca, I am 30 years old and I have a master's degree in Economics and Finance with honors. I was born and raised in Costigliole d'Asti, the capital of Barbera and surrounded by the unique beauty of the Langhe and Monferrato hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These vineyard landscapes have always been a part of my life and today they have become the beating heart of my project.

Vicolo al Castello - Langhe e Monferrato Suites was born from my deep connection with Costigliole d'Asti and my desire to enhance a historic 17th-century residence in the center of the village, converting it into a welcoming vacation home with attention to detail. Here, I want to offer my guests not only charming suites with private bathrooms, balconies, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, and an elegant panoramic terrace, but above all a starting point for discovering the hills of Langhe and Monferrato, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, among wineries, villages, and scenic hiking trails.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a weekend of wine tasting, or a few days of relaxation among the vineyards with your pet, I will be happy to help you make the most of your stay at Vicolo al Castello, recommending experiences, restaurants, and tailor-made itineraries.

For me, hospitality means sharing the best of the area with those who are discovering it for the first time, with the same wonder with which I looked at it and still look at it today as a child.

The residence, set in the historic fortress of Costigliole d'Asti and built at the beginning of the 19th century, was finely renovated in August 2024 with interventions that, in addition to enhancing the historic features, have equipped the structure, arranged on two floors (with a panoramic terrace on the third and top floor), with every kind of comfort. Guests will therefore be able to immerse themselves in the historical atmosphere of the place, while enjoying all the services and conveniences of a contemporary home for an unforgettable stay in a barycentric position between the Langhe and Monferrato. In fact, the property is only 15 km from Alba (symbol of the truffle fair and the international wine fair) and 15 km from Asti (the medieval city that is the icon of the Palio - third week of September and of the Sagre - second Sunday of September). Vicolo al Castello is 66 km from Cuneo-Levaldigi International Airport (the nearest airport), 96 km from Turin Caselle Airport and 164 km from Milan Malpensa Airport.

Wonderful place and stay. At Vicolo Al Castello everything is cared for down to the smallest detail to offer guests the utmost attention. Perfect both for us and for our dogs, who were welcomed with the same comfort reserved for people. Highly recommended.
