Casa Firmino, an eighteenth-century rustic completely renovated, is located on the border with the Torino Superga Hill Natural Park and is just a few steps away from the historic Basilica.
It offers the serenity and tranquility of a countryside house while being very close to the city. It is only 8 km away from the center of Turin (Piazza Vittorio) and is an ideal starting point for visiting Turin, going on excursions in the Monferrato, Langhe, and Roero hills, or visiting the historical residences and mansions of Piedmont (we are 20 km away from the Reggia di Venaria).
The presence of three restaurants in the nearby village of Superga (5 minutes on foot) offers our guests the opportunity to taste typical Piedmontese dishes accompanied by our renowned wines.
Casa Firmino offers its guests, for short or tourist rentals, 2 apartments (Il Melo - L'Alloro), both with independent entrances and in the same building where the owners live.

Casa Firmino is the apartment is the ideal starting point for excursions in the Monferrato, in the Langhe and Roero or to visit the Savoy Residences (we are 20 Km from Venaria). If you want to visit Turin is useful to know that there are 9 kilometers from its historic center, distance traveled by car or by public transport (the historical rack and a choice of 3 public transportation) that in about twenty minutes will leave you in full center.
HOW TO GET TO CASA FIRMINO
Strada Comunale di Superga winds up from Borgata Sassi (Torino) to the top of Superga hill and is about 4. 5 km long. It turns off Corso Casale next to the lower terminal station of Superga rack train.
When you get to the small Superga village at the top, where the roads from Pino and Baldissero also converge, you will notice a newsagency /tobacconist shop and two restaurants. Do NOT continue on the same road towards Baldissero. Instead turn Left up following the signposts to the Basilica (It’s almost a U turn).
About 150 m. after the turn, take the small road on your Left called “Strada alla Funicolare”.
Continue on this level road for about 250 m. up to a signpost reading ‘interni 23’, which is on your left next to a big bamboo hedge. Follow this private road which descends on your Left. After a sharp bend you come to a short white metal railing on your Left; at the end of that, turn Right into the courtyard of Casa Firmino. There you are.

Truly enchanting. A spectacular view in a relaxing, quiet context but very convenient for visiting all the wonders of the area. Immaculate apartment, equipped with every comfort. The apartment, which extends over 2 floors, has a well-equipped sleeping, living, and kitchen area with two bathrooms, two balconies, and a small garden. It is located on the Superga hill (700 m high), a 10-minute walk from the Basilica of Superga. From the two balconies of the apartment, one overlooks the city of Turin with the Alpine panorama in the distance. The city center is reachable by the historic cog railway and buses. The landlords are very friendly and attentive. Overall, it is an oasis to feel comfortable.

The apartment is complete with everything, great attention from the managers to every need and welcome. Very welcome the coffee machine with pods and the prosecco in the fridge.
The apartment is well organized in the spaces. The spectacular location, from the terrace at sunset you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Turin.
The garden of the structure is truly beautiful, well-kept and quiet.

Breakfast could have been included in the price, considering that the first grocery store is kilometers away up the hill. Adding dry products or fruit would not have been bad. For the rest, all good: view, cleanliness, reception, and kindness. It would be a 10 but for this reason, I can't give the highest rating.

I stayed with my family for three nights in the Melo apartment at Casa Firmino. Very nice apartment, with a stunning view of Turin, comfortable, equipped with every comfort. We also had a coffee machine and pods available, even though breakfast was not included. Very friendly managers and available for any advice or needs. Away from the city chaos, in an oasis of peace and tranquility. Turin is easily reachable: once at the foot of the road to the Basilica of Superga by car, you will find several free parking lots and by taking tram 15 you will arrive directly at Piazza Castello. Truly splendid place. Thank you very much for the welcome and for the care that is visible in every corner of the apartment. We hope to be able to return!

Lovely B&B with all the comforts, the manager is a lovely, very kind and welcoming lady, for breakfast there is everything, parking available and a few minutes by car from the center, I highly recommend it.
