Area countryside

Bollengo is a small Piedmontese municipality located in Canavese, in the province of Turin, at the foot of the Serra, a morainic hill that is part of the Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea. It is located along the Via Francigena and borders municipalities of both territories, both hill and plain, such as Torazzo and Magnano in the province of Biella and Albiano, Burolo, Ivrea and others in the province of Turin.

The route runs through Bollengo and its countryside and continues up the hills offering beautiful views of the valley and then of Lake Viverone

From the center of Bollengo we cross Via Ricca, the characteristic main street, which we follow until the Parish Church of Sant'Eusebio, where we turn right onto Via Gaida, then we turn onto Strada Bredda, which runs alongside the cemetery, and continue to Palazzo Canavese following a beautiful panoramic stretch until we reach Piverone, a characteristic village from which you can see Lake Viverone.

Canavese is a truly fascinating area in Piedmont, rich in history, nature and culture. If you decide to visit it, there are many interesting things to discover and activities to do!
