Our bed and breakfast draws inspiration from a slow, healthy lifestyle in harmony with nature. La Cascina, a residence dating back to the late 19th century, has been a place of sharing for our family for generations and is now also a meeting and discovery place for our guests.

In 2010, we renovated the hospitality area, and since then we have been passionately dedicated to hospitality, with the aim of allowing you to discover the wonders of our region. We are located in the area of the Five Lakes, in the municipality of Ivrea, immersed in a natural, historical, and geological environment of great value.

We are surrounded by greenery, at the foot of the Serra Morenica and Mombarone, and just a few steps from the famous Via Francigena, with the historic center of Ivrea just a few minutes' drive away.

Our three spacious bedrooms are located on the ground floor and all have private bathrooms, separate entrances, and exclusive parking. We have a double/twin room, a triple room, and a quadruple room. Upon request, we can also provide a crib for babies and a foldable bed.

The rooms overlook a large garden, and you also have access to a charming veranda with tables and chairs, where you can relax during the beautiful season.

In the morning, we delight our guests with a genuine breakfast, both sweet and savory! We dedicate the right time and attention to make this moment a true pleasure to be enjoyed leisurely. On the table, you will find homemade bread and pastries, as well as a carefully selected range of organic and local zero-kilometer products.

It is us who are opening the doors of our home, trying to convey the beauty of our original territory and its culture, and making you feel "at home".

The wide range that our territory has to offer and its strategic position make it the perfect destination to meet different needs and desires! Ivrea, an ancient town of Roman origin, is a UNESCO heritage site as an industrial city of the 20th century thanks to the contribution of Adriano Olivetti. This recognition rewards an innovative entrepreneurial and social model that has now become a heritage to be preserved. Surrounded by green morainic hills, it is set in a naturalistic context of great value; it develops at the foot of the Serra and the Mombarone.

Our farmhouse, in particular, is immersed in greenery, in a peaceful place. We are located within the protected area of the Five Lakes and on the route of the ancient Via Francigena. Not too far away and reachable by car, the region of Andrate and San Giacomo where the air becomes even purer and you can enjoy the incredible view from above! With a little extra time to explore the surroundings, we mention the lush and unspoiled Valchiusella and the Gran Paradiso National Park. For mountain lovers, its characteristics and high-altitude trails are within an hour's drive (taking the highway) to reach the Val d'Aosta region and here another wide choice between valleys and mountain villages to get lost in!

For those who also want to experience the charm of the art city, visit museums and metropolitan life during their vacation, well connected and just an hour away, there are the cities of Turin and Aosta. If there is flexibility in the choice of the period to visit our territory, knowing the festivities could be a key element for those curious about traditions; we mention the famous Carnival with the orange throwing during the winter period, the San Savino horse fair in July, and the Grande Invasione, the reading festival held every year in spring.

The Fresc family are perfect hosts! The lovingly furnished rooms, the quiet, well-kept garden with the splendid loggia, the varied breakfast - here guests find everything for a perfect holiday. For visitors interested in modern architecture, Ivrea offers some surprising discoveries. The surroundings offer beautiful nature with hiking trails and dreamy spots for picnics and long breaks. Very nice hosts, the room is simple but very lovingly furnished, there was also a small refrigerator. You have to drive again to get to the city center. Ivrea is a small town, super beautiful, definitely worth seeing!

We stayed at the B&B Cascina Moncrava for one night during a weekend when we visited Ivrea and Villa Flecchia – good FAI - in Magnano. Historic farmhouse restored, in an optimal position. Room (Archi) spacious, well cared for and tastefully furnished. Very beautiful and especially quiet environment, immersed in nature. Antonella is a very kind hostess and very helpful with the requests of the guests. I also mention a fantastic breakfast with high quality products. I highly recommend a stop at Cascina Moncrava, where we hope to return on another trip to Canavese.

We loved the place, the owners Antonella and Massimo, their humanity, charm, listening and availability and also fell in love with the Ivrea and Canavese region, with these lakes, forests, and under the charm of these vineyards, olive groves (and yes incredible so close to our Valais) and these countless paths that we traveled some during the 5 days we spent in Moncrava.

The structure is amazing: very spacious rooms, tastefully and meticulously furnished, spotlessly clean (noteworthy detail: one of the rooms was converted from an 18th-century chapel); in the garden there are chairs and tables for each room and an area under a portico for open-air breakfast, weather permitting. The breakfast is very abundant, with fresh and genuine products, including excellent homemade bread by the owner (Antonella). Antonella is a very kind, welcoming, and helpful host; her care makes guests feel at ease. We had a wonderful time!

B&B 10 minutes from the highway, 1/2 hour from Milan and 1 hour from Aosta. Quiet and relaxing site, peaceful hostess making the effort to speak French, personalized breakfast with homemade bread. Assortment of teas and infusions available in the room along with a fridge and a bottle of fresh water. Small bottles of shower gel and shampoo provided. Very neat place near several small lakes with water sports bases and picnic possibilities.

B&B Cascina Moncrava was a wonderful surprise: pleasant location, close to the five lakes and not far from the city center of Ivrea. The room was tastefully decorated and Antonella is friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is good and the prices are fair. What else do you need? I definitely recommend it!

Spacious, clean rooms and beautiful setting. I loved the possibility to eat outside in the garden. The innkeeper was friendly and attentive. The location is near to a lake where you can swim and there are four others to visit.

A very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere and very near to a lake to swim. Good place on your way to the south but also to spend a few days.
