Description
Small hotel restaurant open all year located in Alpe Manegra, a quiet hamlet in natural/alpine surrounding 900 meters in altitude, about 20 kms from Verbania and the Lake Maggiore. It was formerly used as a summer camp in the fifties and sixties and was then called “ Colonia Erminio Verdi ” and has now been renovated in a small inn with 9 rooms and restaurant. The property gives suitable access for disabled people and 2 bedrooms are also equipped for people with disabilities. An ideal starting point for numerous itineraries, paths and trails for trekking, hiking, Nordic walking, fitwalking and Mountain Biking. It lends itself for all types of outdoor activities in the vast area of Oggebbio, Premeno, Aurano, Trarego Viggiona, Cannero and the nearby Valle Intrasca at the borderline with the National Park of the Val Grande, the largest wilderness area in Italy.
