Description

Vernante is the village of Pinocchio, which is depicted on the houses in memory of Attilio Mussino, the great illustrator of the puppet's early stories, who chose to spend his old age here.

It should not be forgotten that the "vernantin" knives were born here, indestructible knives with a steel blade and a handle made of ox horn or boxwood.

From Vernante, in winter, you can go skiing in the Limone Piemonte White Reserve or on the Palanfrè mountains (off-piste) in just ten minutes, and in just over an hour, you can reach Liguria, Monte Carlo, and the French Riviera.

In summer, you can take beautiful walks in nature along marked trails of various difficulties.

The Vernante territory is part of the Maritime Alps Natural Park and is located a short distance from the Mercantour National Park (France).

Those who do not like or cannot walk can rest on the benches in the "gardens" by the river.

In summer, there are paid tennis courts, soccer fields, bowling alleys, and inflatable games for children.

Furthermore, you can visit the Vermenagna and Roya Valleys in an intelligent and ecological way by using the train that connects Turin to Nice, passing through spectacular suspension bridges and daring spiral tunnels.

Cleanliness, courtesy, availability, and privacy make this B&B a place that makes you feel at home. Clean, tidy, and well-kept room with a completely livable bathroom and a spacious and well-functioning shower. You'll find towels, a hairdryer, and everything you need to take a shower. Comfortable beds (even the folding bed). And what about breakfast? A show: freshly baked brioche, a terrifying tart, fruit, yogurt, toast, crackers, jams, Nutella, and fresh fruit, all excellent. One last thing, the hosts are polite, mannered people, never intrusive, and very helpful. If there is an opportunity, we will be happy to come back.

We had a great time during our stay at La Ca' d'Fassi, the room was very nice, everything was clean and the breakfast was very good. The hosts were very kind and helpful. It's close to Limone Piemonte for skiing, it was truly a pleasure to stay there!

We stayed at this beautiful Bed and Breakfast for a couple of days, for skiing. The place is lovely, very well-kept but what makes it special is the passion that the owners put into managing the Bed and Breakfast, making the guest feel at home. Excellent breakfast with good products and a delicious cake.
