Description
Our house and its nice small garden is located in the pedestrian precinct inside the characteristic historic centre of Feriolo, only 30 meters far from the lake, with it’s beaches and from the cycling/pedestrian paths that are just a short walk away.
You can easily reach us directly by car. Pull up at the front and, once you have safely unloaded your luggage, we will show you where to park your car.
Our house, that was completely restored in 2013 according to the most modern bioarchitecture criteria, maintains the charme of the old lake house, with large use of original local stone and wood.
The house, very well insulated, has a very low Energy consumption, in winter is heated through floor panels, and we use solar panels to produce hot water. Lighting with led or low consumption lamps, and the appliances are in high Energy efficiency class. We practice the separate collection of rubbish.

One of the highlights of our hospitality is definitely the rich Italian breakfast to be served in the dining room or on the panoramic terrace from where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the lake and Isola Madre.
The breakfast is a buffet while tea, coffee, milk or cappuccino are served at the table. Breakfast is normally served from 8. 30 to 10. 00 a. m. but if you have special needs we will try to satisfy you if possible.
Paola’s cakes and cookies are a true delicacy as well as her home-made jams! In our B&B you will find fresh fruit, seasonal products, cereals, yoghurt, honey, jam, Nutella and fresh bread.
Upon request and for a small fee we will let you taste local cold cuts and cheeses so the traditional Italian breakfast turns into a real brunch.
We try to use as much as possible products that come mainly from local producers, favoring the products at 0 km and organic products. In case you have some food intolerance or allergy please inform us at time of booking.
In fine weather, breakfast can be enjoyed on the beautiful terrace with spectacular lake view.
The terrace is also available during the day to relax with a good book.
In the breakfast room, besides tourist information about the area, there are some board games and a small library with books available for “book-crossing”: you may take one of those left by a traveller who has gone before you, and leave one of yours for the next travellers.
In the breakfast room, we made available a kettle for those who want to drink a tea, chamomile tea or a herbal tea and a small refrigerator for your needs. The kitchen is not accessible to guests.

Paola and Alberto, looking for a better quality of life, decided to move from the outskirts of Milan to Lake Maggiore. Il Feriolo is a charming B&B on a hill overlooking Lake Maggiore. Our room was beautifully decorated and had its own private deck with a view of the lake. It was comfortable, quiet and peaceful, a wonderful retreat in which to relax and recharge.
Breakfast included a variety of delicious options including Poala’s delicious homemade cakes and cookies.
We enjoyed our stay at Il Feriolo very much. Paola and Alberto, our hosts, were so warm and welcoming and did everything to make our visit wonderful. We were sad to leave, and look forward to returning.
Feriolo is a great place to stay if you want to get away from the crowds. You can walk down to the waterfont for several good restaurant choices. The busier, more touristy towns of Baveno and Stresa are just a short bus ride away.

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Paola et Alberto. La chambre est très spacieuse et parfaitement propre. Le logement est très calme. Le petit-déjeuner, très varié et fait maison, se prend sur la terrasse aux beaux jours avec un paysage incroyable. Encore merci pour ces deux jours passés chez vous. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Scrivo volentieri questa recensione perché i gestori sono belle persone e si impegnano per mettere subito a proprio agio l'ospite. Paola ed Alberto sono professionali, premurosi e mai invadenti. Abbiamo trovato la nostra camera con vista lago stupenda, super pulita e profumata. Siamo stati davvero bene e torneremo sicuramente in questa struttura. Ringraziamo ancora Paola ed Alberto per tutte le premure che hanno avuto nei nostri confronti. Il nostro è solo un arrivederci.

Meraviglioso B&B a due passi (ma proprio 2) dal lungolago di Feriolo coi suoi baretti e ristoranti (noi abbiamo provato La Terrazza Mirafiori e abbiamo mangiato un'ottima pizza). La casa molto bella e accogliente come la signora Paola, molto gentile e premurosa. Camera spaziosissima con un bel bagno, grande e pulitissima. Colazione sulla grande terrazza vista lago con dolci e pane fatto in casa buonissimi.
Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Poche parole per descrivere questo B&B: magnifico.
Bellissima posizione tranquilla con vista lago mozzafiato, pulizia e arredamento della camera impeccabile, fantastica colazione con torte, biscotti e marmellate fatte in casa dalla gentilissima signora Paola.
Lo consigliamo e noi ci torneremo sicuramente.
