Description

Our house and its nice small garden is located in the pedestrian precinct inside the characteristic historic centre of Feriolo, only 30 meters far from the lake, with it’s beaches and from the cycling/pedestrian paths that are just a short walk away.

You can easily reach us directly by car. Pull up at the front and, once you have safely unloaded your luggage, we will show you where to park your car.

Our house, that was completely restored in 2013 according to the most modern bioarchitecture criteria, maintains the charme of the old lake house, with large use of original local stone and wood.

The house, very well insulated, has a very low Energy consumption, in winter is heated through floor panels, and we use solar panels to produce hot water. Lighting with led or low consumption lamps, and the appliances are in high Energy efficiency class. We practice the separate collection of rubbish.

One of the highlights of our hospitality is definitely the rich Italian breakfast to be served in the dining room or on the panoramic terrace from where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the lake and Isola Madre.

The breakfast is a buffet while tea, coffee, milk or cappuccino are served at the table. Breakfast is normally served from 8. 30 to 10. 00 a. m. but if you have special needs we will try to satisfy you if possible.

Paola’s cakes and cookies are a true delicacy as well as her home-made jams! In our B&B you will find fresh fruit, seasonal products, cereals, yoghurt, honey, jam, Nutella and fresh bread.

Upon request and for a small fee we will let you taste local cold cuts and cheeses so the traditional Italian breakfast turns into a real brunch.

We try to use as much as possible products that come mainly from local producers, favoring the products at 0 km and organic products. In case you have some food intolerance or allergy please inform us at time of booking.

In fine weather, breakfast can be enjoyed on the beautiful terrace with spectacular lake view.

The terrace is also available during the day to relax with a good book.

In the breakfast room, besides tourist information about the area, there are some board games and a small library with books available for “book-crossing”: you may take one of those left by a traveller who has gone before you, and leave one of yours for the next travellers.

In the breakfast room, we made available a kettle for those who want to drink a tea, chamomile tea or a herbal tea and a small refrigerator for your needs. The kitchen is not accessible to guests.

We felt very comfortable at Paola's. The B&B is located very close to Lake Maggiore. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace with homemade bread and cakes and a view of the lake. The B&B does not have its own parking, but there are enough free parking spaces in the village.

We were welcomed very warmly by Paola and Alberto. The room is very spacious and perfectly clean. The accommodation is very quiet. The breakfast, very varied and homemade, is taken on the terrace on sunny days with an incredible view. Thanks again for these two days spent at your place. We will come back with great pleasure!

Paola and Alberto are professional, caring, and never intrusive. We found our room with a stunning lake view, super clean and fragrant. Il Feriolo is a charming B&B on a hill overlooking Lake Maggiore. Our room was beautifully decorated and had its own private deck with a view of the lake. It was comfortable, quiet, and peaceful, a wonderful retreat in which to relax and recharge. Breakfast included a variety of delicious options including Paola's delicious homemade cakes and cookies. We enjoyed our stay at Il Feriolo very much. Paola and Alberto, our hosts, were so warm and welcoming and did everything to make our visit wonderful. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning. Feriolo is a great place to stay if you want to get away from the crowds. You can walk down to the waterfront for several good restaurant choices. The busier, more touristy towns of Baveno and Stresa are just a short bus ride away.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast a stone's throw away (literally 2) from the lakeside of Il Feriolo with its bars and restaurants (we tried La Terrazza Mirafiori and had an excellent pizza). The house is very beautiful and welcoming, just like Mrs. Paola, very kind and caring. Spacious room with a nice bathroom, large and very clean. Breakfast on the large terrace overlooking the lake with delicious homemade pastries and bread. We will definitely come back.

Few words to describe this B&B: magnificent. Beautiful quiet location with breathtaking lake view, impeccable cleanliness and room furnishings, fantastic breakfast with homemade cakes, cookies, and jams by the very kind lady Paola. We recommend it and we will definitely come back.
