Description

The IJ Picapera Bed and Breakfast is located in a recently renovated building in the historic center of Piasco, a town located at the entrance of the Varaita Valley. The family-style welcome offers two rooms (single and double), with the possibility of an additional bed, each with an independent bathroom. A large common area welcomes guests, becoming a breakfast room, reading room (with a small library available), or simply a relaxation room.

It has private parking (with access from Via Mario del Pozzo n°26), a garage for storing bicycles and motorcycles. The bed and breakfast can be the ideal starting point for visiting the monuments and typical features of the area or for walking or mountain biking along marked trails. During excursions, it is possible to purchase fresh or processed products directly from local producers. In Piasco, in the S. Antonio hamlet, the only European harp factory, N. S. M. by Victor Salvi, is located.

In the same structure, a museum entirely dedicated to the instrument in various periods and styles is available. Reduced-rate tickets to the museum are available for B&B customers. It is possible to visit the historic city of Saluzzo, the ancient capital of the Marchesato, which is 10 km away and easily connected by public transport. Payment for stays can be made through Satispay.

Excellent welcome from Alessio, clean rooms where everything needed is available, from the mini hairdryer to the shared fridge, to the bed linen and towels, etc. Highly recommended rooms with an excellent breakfast featuring local products. Definitely a safe place to return to when we are in the area. Thanks again for the utmost availability.

Everything was perfect, I recommend it to everyone. Especially for the kindness and availability of Alessio. Unfortunately, due to family reasons, I could only stay for two days and one night. I will definitely come back because they deserve it, and if they accept me.
