Nestled in the heart of Ossola valley, B&B "dove comincia la bella Italia" (where begins the beautiful Italy – ou commence la belle Italie - as wrote Stendhal in his memories "voyages en Italie" when he saw Ossola valley) is located in Beura Cardezza a hamlet in Valgrande National Park.

The charming, comfortable bedroom with private bath and friendly service is in a smart 1874 dairy country who has retained many original details like the stone roof, the kitchen's larch wood ceiling and the large fireplace. Embellished by traditional ceramic. Perfect for one or a couple. On request we can add a bed/cot. Pet friendly. Free parking. At the B&B guests have access to free wifi, flat screen tv, small library and brochures of the territory, kettle with teas and herbal teas, phon. Shampoo and soap are provided. We can make space in the fridge if you need. Before a day of adventure, relaxation or excitement, guests at B&B enjoy a delicius sweet and salty breakfast served in the lovely kitchen. Many fine local products are featured in our breakfast, such honey, brown bread, sweet bread, cold cuts and cheese.

Hello, we are Tiziano and Liliana.

We enjoy life, our loved ones, friends, animals, and nature, and of course..traveling, traveling, traveling. Our favorite destinations? All of Italy and North America. We have traveled around Canada and the United States for many years and have met many wonderful people by staying in their homes.

In 2003, we also got married in Quebec City, Canada. The two of us and the snow, a memory all our own.

But one of the most profound emotions we experience is when we bring our loved ones to the places we have visited and rejoice in their happiness.

Fate has allowed us to fulfill a couple of our desires: Tiziano becoming an environmental hiking guide and transforming our home into a bed and breakfast.

With our bed and breakfast, we continue our journey: guests from all over the world come to visit us, and we hope to give them the memory of beautiful moments.

Since July 2018, Tiziano has also become an Official Guide for the Protected Areas of Ossola. He organizes guided tours for the Natural Parks of Veglia, Devero, and Alta Valle Antrona, which are published on the official website of the Protected Areas of Ossola.

We had a great time during our stay. Tiziano and Liliana, kind and helpful, made us feel pampered. Liliana was extraordinary in preparing lactose-free cakes and desserts for me every day for breakfast, so I could have a complete breakfast too, an attention I'm not used to when I'm away from home.

We stayed one night only but the welcome, the hospitality, the courtesy, and the availability of Liliana and Tiziano were unparalleled. The structure, the extremely clean and tastefully furnished room. Fantastic breakfast, high-quality products and a service that has nothing to envy to large hotels. The atmosphere was warm and familiar. The location is convenient for visiting places of great interest in the area. Parking very close to the structure. And Liliana's tart excellent. We experienced Liliana and Tiziano as excellent, authentic, and attentive hosts. The outstanding and very lovingly prepared breakfast nourishes the body, the conversations with them nourish the mind. The entire house, decorated with heart and love for detail, acts in its own and special way magically. Here one can let the head sink into the pillow to sleep blissfully. Tiziano apparently knows every corner, every tree, and every animal of his homeland, making him a guide one learns to trust already at the breakfast table. Highly recommendable!

The owners are courteous and caring. The room and bathroom are very beautiful and clean, full of those little attentions that pamper the guests. The breakfast is very rich: Liliana is a very good cook and her cakes are exquisite. Tiziano knows the territory very well and is happy to tell and illustrate the places that can be visited in the area.

The bed and breakfast Where The Beautiful Italy Begins was a revelation. It was a very pleasant week in the company of Lilliana and Tiziano, who immediately made us feel at ease.
