We are about 80 kms away from Torino, 90 kms away from Ligurian coast and just about a 30 minute drive from Barolo, Canelli and Monferrato area.

Dimora Cortese is located in the old town centre of Castagnole Lanze, at the foot of the Lookout Tower built around 1880 by Count Paolo Ballada of Saint-Robert in the place that once housed an ancient feudal castle. It is also a short walk from the impressive Baroque Church of San Peter in Chains (San Pietro in Vincoli).
At the beginning of Auberti Street, few meters after the Church of “Battuti Bianchi”, on your left you‘ll find an old gate which will open you the doors of our “Home”, with its unique and tasteful rooms.
A dwelling designed to give you moments of incomparable relaxation during your stay, carefully restored by the will of the owners who will be ready to welcome you with their warmth and kindness.
From the old arcade you enter the reception area and from there you can go into the spacious “Breakfast Room” or into the more intimate "Relax Room”. The stone staircase will take you to our four rooms, characterized by different colours perfectly blended with the surrounding context. Also on the upper floor a large covered terrace is the perfect place to relax on warm summer evenings, maybe drinking a good glass of local wine. A delicious green corner will brighten your stay: a wide garden will pamper your senses with a riot of sounds, colours and scents.

The stay went very well, we really liked the place where we stayed, Dimora Cortese, both as a well-kept and characteristic structure. The apartment is very cozy, well-furnished, and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the homemade pastries were exquisite and varied! Mr. Francesco was very kind, very helpful, and attentive! We had very peaceful and relaxing days.

A little gem between the Langhe and Monferrato. Francesco is a manager whose professionalism, kindness, and availability exceed all expectations, his excellent daily advice allowed us to experience this beautiful area in the best possible way. The property is elegant and well-kept, with added value being the small attentions that make you feel like a welcome guest. We will be back soon.

There are no words to describe this property. Everything is taken care of in the smallest details, from the rooms, to the welcome, to the breakfast. The homemade cakes were truly exquisite. Everything is very clean, both in the common areas and in the rooms. Water, coffee, and tea are available all day. The managers are very helpful in providing information about the area and in showing the beauty and curiosities of their land, and their kindness can be felt from the booking phase. The parking of the property is very convenient, and we also greatly appreciated the small hot tub in the garden. Really everything is perfect! If we have the opportunity, we will definitely stay again in this fantastic dwelling.
