Hey from Debora

Member since November 2023 | 7,929 hits

I'm Debora and together with my husband Cristian and little Riccardo I will welcome you in Cavaedium.

I was born in Arona: I love our territory and the lake. I worked for twenty years in hotels in the area before I was able to find the right place to realize my project of opening a guest house. I love walking under the wisteria of the lakefront right here in front of our structure, especially early in the morning when the city is still sleeping: the colors of the sunrise give unique emotions.

You will stay in the historic center of Arona, surrounded by colorful shops alternating along the porphyry, historic churches, an archaeological museum, beautiful squares and a wide range of restaurants, bars, pastry shops.

It will be a pleasure to advise you on the activities and unmissable destinations to visit during your stay with us: the colossus of San Carlo and the Borromean Islands are the most famous cultural stops;.

What guests say

Guests praise the central location, close to the lake and shops, and the stylish, modern, very clean rooms. Debora’s warm welcome and helpful local recommendations are frequently mentioned, as is the generous breakfast with plenty of choice. Parking arrangements are another plus. A few reviews note some street noise with the windows open, and that certain rooms are on the compact side.

We stayed for five nights. Fabulous breakfast with lots of options, savory and sweet. My favorite was making fresh orange juice. The suite is not the largest but was exceptionally clean and had a double shower. Debora and her husband were great hosts. I would definitely recommend.

The Cavaedium in Arona is a property that wins you over from the first moment. Located in the city centre, just steps from the lake, it allows you to explore the town comfortably on foot without sacrificing tranquility. The building is historic but recently renovated with great taste, striking a perfect balance between old-world charm and modern comforts. The room is spacious and very well appointed, with an exceptionally comfortable bed that ensures excellent rest. The bathroom is large and equipped with all amenities, featuring a lovely double shower that is much appreciated. The heating and soundproofing are also excellent, making the stay pleasant in any season. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, both sweet and savory: a very generous offering able to satisfy even the most demanding palates, with quality products and great attention to detail. Special praise to the hostess, who is discreet but always punctual and precise in providing all the information needed for a simple and hassle-free self check-in. The paid parking offered by the property is also very convenient, a substantial added value in a central area. In summary, an elegant, welcoming and well-maintained property in every respect: absolutely recommended for those who wish to stay in Arona with style and comfort.
