Description

On the border between the Langhe and Roero regions, 10 km from Alba and 15 km from Asti, the ancient farmhouse of an ancient farming family has been renovated to restore all its traditional simplicity to daily life. Situated atop a ridge, it offers a rich landscape of typical vineyards and the surrounding hills. The farmhouse is located in a quiet and peaceful area, where guests can fully relax in the garden during the day and enjoy the silence at night.

The farmhouse features a splendid swimming pool surrounded by greenery, among rose bushes and climbing plants that bloom year-round. During the summer, it is open 24 hours a day and for the exclusive use of guests, the ideal place to unwind in the afternoon and enjoy the evening.

The entrance opens into a room with a panoramic window, equipped with a kitchen and relaxation area. A corridor leads to the three bedrooms, which overlook the front garden and a backdrop of hills and vineyards. The rooms are all equipped with a private bathroom (with sink, toilet, bidet, shower, hairdryer, shampoo, and natural soaps), satellite TV, free wireless internet, and air conditioning. They are bright and furnished with rustic furniture and pure cotton bed linens.

In this context, we offer the best way to explore our country, rich in history, crossed by barbarians and numerous civilizations, home to great leaders and humble citizens who have lived their lives. An unforgettable land with its splendid wild nature, its rich and productive valleys, and its rivers. Between cities and towns, villages and hamlets, castles and wineries, our visitors will discover everything about our region, where truffles reign supreme, accompanied by excellent wines and the rich fruits of our land.

After years of hectic life in the city, between consumerist logic, noise, pollution, stress and disorientation, we felt the need to rediscover the rhythms of life more suitable to our balance. Thus, the strong appeal of the old family farm could not be ignored, as if attracted by mysterious forces, we gave a cut to city life and we are here, almost like a "homecoming" inevitable, regenerating..

The wealth now is we can wake up breathing the energy that nature here still transmit pulse and feels magically in all things and to have the opportunity to share with the guests this atmosphere antique flavor.

The village of St. Peter extends in an east-west ridges on hills south of Govone. E 'connected to the concentric from the main road that goes down to 235 Priocca Canove and the fraction that is also joint the road Crocco. The managers are truly special people. Barbara welcomes you with great warmth and makes you feel at home right away. Thoughtful, ready to give very useful advice and with affable and kind manners. Beautiful restoration of the family farmhouse (typical country house in the Langhe and Roero areas), skillfully carried out, maintaining its peculiarities unchanged and enhancing its features. Rooms and breakfast room very comfortable, clean, welcoming, quiet, and rich in the charm of the country farmhouse. Good location to quickly reach both the Barolo and Barbaresco areas and also to visit the Roero. Both sweet and savory breakfasts, superlative, prepared fresh every morning by the owners with extreme care and love, using products from their garden, most of which are organic or from excellent local producers. The owners, Mrs. Barbara and Mr. Beppe, were extremely kind, welcoming, and very helpful in providing us with useful information about the Langhe, Roero, and all the places to visit nearby. It was a real pleasure to spend some time talking with them and especially with Mr. Beppe about his love for good food, wine, and gastronomy. We had an extremely pleasant, relaxing, and wonderfully gastronomic weekend. We recommend to all those who want to take a break from the hectic city life and pamper themselves a bit, a holiday at La Lignenga, to savor with all the senses, beyond "slow food" even the "slow life". I highly recommend this accommodation, in addition to the great location for visiting the Langhe and Roero, the rooms are extremely clean and meticulously cared for, as well as the breakfast which is very abundant and the products are locally sourced and homemade. Great facility, simple and informal, not in the city center but easily reachable; ideal for those looking for tranquility and privacy. Breakfast is really good with homemade and fresh products and very varied. Excellent cleanliness. The managers are really available, attentive to the guests' needs and very discreet. Beautiful! We stayed two nights at this property near Govone, surrounded by vineyards and the silence of the countryside. A farmhouse cared for in detail, clean, with a beautiful garden and a pool. Barbara and her husband pampered us with an amazing breakfast, prepared with genuine products. And before sleeping, a selection of herbal teas and honey available! We will be back! My wife and I wanted to visit the Langhe, so we needed a base that was comfortable to reach the most interesting villages in the area. Barbara and Giuseppe welcomed us as if we were family. Super abundant breakfast, with bread, cakes, homemade drinks, all very good and genuine. The pool with water purified naturally with salt-based method is awesome! Highly recommended.

It was already the second time we came to La Lignenga B&B. The first time it was just with two people, now it was with our little baby. The B&B has magnificent views, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is wonderful (different homemade sweets every day), and the host is just perfect.

My wife and I (she is Italian and I am American) visited La Lignenga this past August. We had an absolutely wonderful time. Our hosts, Barbara and Beppe, are fantastic people. They are not simply good hosts, though they are that, but they are warm people who truly care about the B&B they run and the experience of their guests. At the same time, they really respected our privacy. I'm celiac and I've stayed at a number of B&Bs. Usually they accommodate me by finding some store bought crackers and a bit of yogurt. Barbara and Beppe served me a breakfast with delicious fresh gluten-free pastries. Fantastic. The place itself is lovely. The room we stayed in was comfortable and inviting. The room where we ate breakfast included handmade tables that made everything a bit more charming. Finally, the B&B is located in a very convenient part of Langhe, seemingly a short drive from everywhere. We couldn't have asked for more. That pretty much sums up our experience. Except for their dog, India. Great Dog!

Our stay at La Lignenga B&B was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, with a nice bed, a small fridge, and all the necessities in the bathroom. Breakfast was very nice, even though we had (very tasty) prepared sandwiches instead of what is shown in the picture. We greatly appreciated the availability of information material about the region and the suggestions and help offered by the hosts. The pool was a nice and refreshing plus! Unfortunately, the breakfast room has no door, so if you're still sleeping in the first guest room, it is possible to hear people talking in the breakfast room. Also a good starting point for hiking in the region.

The place is charming and the owners are extremely kind and helpful. We had a great time, we recommend it for a weekend of total relaxation. The village of Govone is also very pretty and you can eat well anywhere in the area.

We spent a weekend at the end of October at La Lignenga B&B. The description is absolutely accurate, the rooms are spacious, well-kept and clean, the breakfast is healthy and well-prepared. The B&B is surrounded by nature, beautiful and very comfortable even in the common areas. Having children, the breakfast/relaxation area is a great environment especially in winter. Furthermore, it is easily accessible and well served by excellent restaurants in the surrounding area. For obvious reasons, we could not use the pool, so we have promised ourselves to return in a warm season. Mrs. Barbara is very attentive and discreet. Highly recommended!

After searching on the Internet, I came across this B&B. The reviews were enthusiastic. The expectations were more than met. The place is enchanting, the rooms are clean, warm, and welcoming. Barbara, Giuseppe, and Willy are kind, friendly, and understanding. A lovely family ready to welcome guests as if they were old friends. And then there is a relaxing pool and so much peace.
