Cascina Ghitin Relais is a Country House located in the heart of a typical Monferrato valley in the Asti area, among green meadows and cultivated fields. Let yourself be lulled by the breeze of nature and the call of animals among the branches of the undergrowth. Admire the spectacle of fireflies in flight while tasting our food and wine excellence, an expression of the culture of the area. Cascina Ghitin Relais offers its guests five large rooms, furnished in Piedmontese style and with attention to every detail to offer an unforgettable wellness experience. Each of our rooms has satellite television and a large private bathroom, as well as a safe, minibar, air conditioning, and a kettle for tea and herbal teas. The entire structure is covered by free broadband connection via wi-fi and boasts large outdoor spaces with a garden, a solarium area, and a panoramic swimming pool with a dark seabed and a corner equipped with four hydromassage stations for an unforgettable relaxing experience.

Hi, I'm Sara and I welcome you to Cascina Ghitin Relais! "Ghitin" is the term with which my great-grandmother Margherita was affectionately called, to whom the name of the Country House was paid. In this house you will be able to breathe the entire history of my family, from its origins dating back to 1800 to today, after an impressive renovation work that did not want to erase anything of its ancient traditions, aiming instead at better energy efficiency and general arrangement of the rooms and external areas, to offer our guests the best possible stay experience. Graduated in political science and with a master's degree in tourism promotion, the idea of ??establishing a Country House capable of exalting the traditions of the territory is an idea that I have cherished for a long time and which now, after two years of hard work, is finally becoming reality. In this profession, I love the contact with the tourist and the desire to accompany him in an experience that goes beyond mere hospitality but instead wants to offer a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Good stay!
The Country House is just 7 minutes from Asti train station and the city center can be easily reached by car, public transport, or bicycle. Alba and Alessandria can be reached in 20 minutes, Turin in 35 minutes, while Genoa and Milan are just over an hour away by car or train. Variglie is a small town on the outskirts of Asti, known for the typical production of limonina peach, with a pleasant citrus aroma. Located along the ancient road that connected Asti to Alba, it borders the municipality of Revigliasco and is just 15 minutes from the Royal Castle of Govone, a Savoy residence recognized by UNESCO. Located in the heart of the Asti Monferrato hills, it constitutes a crossroads between Monferrato, Langhe, and Roero, along the hills dear to Vittorio Alfieri, well-known playwright, poet, writer, and theater author.

A warm welcome upon arrival for us and our dog. Beautiful cozy room with good explanations about various things. The pool was lovely, a nicely designed spot, with a special black bottom to retain the heat. Nice covered seating area and lots of sun loungers. It was nice that they reserved a nearby restaurant for us. After a good night, a delicious breakfast, not overly extensive, which we prefer over a too-large buffet where we wouldn’t eat everything anyway. One point of attention: upon arrival, after a day of driving, it would have been greatly appreciated to have a drink in addition to the personal attention at the entrance. No problem if that had to be paid for. Who knows, maybe we’ll see each other another time. Ron and Marion and Nanoek.

We stayed at Cascina Ghitin on April 1, 2, 3, and 4, 2025. The welcome was special. The booked room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The breakfast surprised us with the quality of the local products offered. My wife and I came to explore the villages, castles, and countryside of Monferrato, and it was like being at the sea, a sea rippling with green waves like the ridges of the hills of this truly unique and admirable territory. Cascina Ghitin was our little island to which we docked in the evening after our excursions. Try it to believe it. Thanks to Sara and Valeria for giving us a wonderful gift.
