'Casa Rubbò is situated just a few kilometers from Alba, atop a hill that divides the Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions. From this vantage point, one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the vineyards, charming nearby villages, and the majestic mountains that form the backdrop. The house, which has been recently renovated, boasts over a century of history and overlooks a courtyard that is still inhabited by my family.

The exterior is distinguished by traditional Piedmontese red bricks, while the interiors blend modernity with a classic touch. The garden, adorned with an ancient well, serves as a perfect oasis for relaxation and enjoying the surrounding scenery. Here, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Langhe, in a family-oriented agricultural setting that embodies tranquility.

The 'Monvisò Apartment:
This apartment is named after the highest mountain in Piedmont, which is clearly visible on clear sky days. With a strong commitment to eco-sustainability, the house is equipped with solar panels. Additionally, for dishes, linens, and decorations, we have opted for family heirlooms and vintage materials that we already possess, thus minimizing the use of new materials or disposable products.

'Monvisò is equipped with all modern comforts (air conditioning, underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen with basic cooking essentials, a coffee machine, smart TV, WiFi, etc.) and will captivate you during your stay: you won’t want to leave!

From this vantage point, you can enjoy a truly unique view of the vineyards, the villages, and the mountains in the background. The house, recently renovated, boasts a history of nearly a century and overlooks a courtyard that is still home to my family today. The exterior is characterized by classic Piedmontese red bricks, while the interiors are modern yet retain a classic touch. The garden, featuring an old water well, serves as a perfect little oasis to take in the scenery. Here, you can immerse yourself in the Langhe region, surrounded by agricultural and family-oriented landscapes, in complete tranquility.

We stayed at Casa Rubbo for our honeymoon. The apartment is simply wonderful, equipped with everything one could wish for, conveniently located in the center of Alba and at the same time in a dream location with an unparalleled view. The stay was extremely pleasant, not only because of the fairy-tale location but also due to the great friendliness and kindness of the hosts who make you feel at home. Casa Rubbo is a fairy-tale reality that is rarely found, absolutely to be recommended... and we ourselves can't wait to return!
