Our family-run B&B is located in one of the most renowned areas of Langa Astigiana. We, Mario, a native of the region, and Marisa, originally from Vicenza, are warm and genuine hosts who have always been curious about other cultures. We love to share the unique stories of our territory with our guests. Our hospitality has earned us many compliments, and we are grateful for them!
Our three bright and spacious rooms are furnished with a touch of our personality. In the breakfast room, there is a corner where you can relax and browse magazines about cultural and gastronomic tours. However, we love to engage with our guests and share paths and sights that are different from the usual ones.

The entrance is independent, and you will receive the keys at check-in, giving you the opportunity to come and go as you please!
The water consumed in our B&B is produced by a photovoltaic system. We believe that an eco-friendlier lifestyle with less pollution is achieved through energy-saving measures, such as the low-consumption lamps in the rooms.

Not far from our B&B, you will find the Valsarmassa Nature Park, where you can go hiking, mountain biking, e-biking, and Nordic walking! There is also a well-known winery nearby, where, in addition to excellent wine, you can recharge your e-bikes and electric cars.

Five kilometers away, you will find the Agliano Thermal Baths, ideal for crenotherapy treatments and respiratory diseases.

Upon reservation, we can take wine lovers to visit wineries, such as Vinchio and Vaglio, small producers, or our friends, and organize cultural tours.

Another gem of our territory that we love to share with our guests is the Underground Cathedrals - historic cellars in Canelli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We usually recommend Cantine Bosca, to which we are very attached for their professionalism.

Our family is composed: me, Mario my husband, my son Marco and my daughter Federica and 2 grandsons Beatrice and Riccardo.

We like to welcome our guests friendly and we are open to chat and give advices about our territory.

Sometimes, Mario (the family’s artist and “Piedmontese doc”), cooks traditional regional dishes and we are happy to eat them with the guests when they desire it… obviously, a good Barbera (red wine) always accompany our meals!
When Mario and me leave for a trip (we like to go in B&B), Federica and Marco are as willing as us to suggest you some itineraries in Monferrato, Roero, and Langhe hills.

When we have the time, we are glad to accompany our guests to taste wine by some little producers or at the cellar of Vinchio, near our B&B. Moreover, as lovers of art in general as we are, we advise some cultural itineraries like, for example, the famous underground Caves in Canelli.

Our B&B is located in Monferrato hills/Langa Astigiana, the region of Piedmont, Italy, at 50 km from Turin, 70 km from Genoa.

Vinchio is located in a good central position for visiting beautiful towns such as: Asti, Alba (Langhe), Acqui Terme, Canelli (renowned for its historical wine caves – underground Cathedrals, designated a Unesco World Heritage site), and other truly gorgeous spots.

Vinchio seems to spring from the vineyards that surround it and produce, thanks to the active life of its inhabitants, great wines such as Barbera Superiore, Moscato d'Asti, Chardonnay, Cortese, and Grignolino. Vinchio is also well-known for the “King of truffles”, the White Truffle (or Tuber Magnatum), the "cardo gobbo" ("bent" thistle, because of its particular shape), and many other typical products.

I stayed with my family for one night during the weekend and we had a great time. I especially highlight the welcoming and hospitality of Mario and Marisa, the excellent breakfast, the order and cleanliness of the rooms. In the heart of Barbera d'Asti in a wonderful natural setting of my beloved Piemonte.

We arrived on Saturday and were greeted with great kindness, then they showed us the rooms and they were really lovely, very clean, tidy, ours with a very large bathroom. The next day we had a nice breakfast in the rustic room with truly many good and very fresh things. Like at home. Ten out of ten. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Ratti!

We were greeted by the very kind owners who booked dinner for us at a very characteristic restaurant in Nizza Monferrato. The room is warm and welcoming, the bathroom clean and spacious. A quiet and peaceful house. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Excellent homemade jam by Mrs. Marisa. Also excellent were the tips that Mario and Marisa gave us for the day's itinerary. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

I came to Piemonte for truffles and I took the opportunity to stay a few days in Monferrato. In Vinchio, specifically at Ca' d'Rot, a B&B run by friendly and nice people (Federica and Marisa). The room is warm and welcoming, very clean with a comfortable en-suite bathroom. In the morning, in an environment that makes you feel at home, an excellent breakfast is served. The rest you come and discover yourselves, and don't forget to ask for recommendations on which wineries to visit to taste the excellent wines of the area.

I stayed at this property with my girlfriend on the occasion of the Festivals, after having already been to the Asparago Saraceno festival that takes place in May, in the village of Vinchio. We returned because the hospitality is unique, the managers are very helpful and friendly (which is not trivial!), the rooms are clean and welcoming, the breakfast is plentiful and the breakfast room is warm and family-friendly! The hills of Monferrato are magnificent and the itineraries are numerous, let's say we would like to return because we did not have time to visit everything that Marisa and Mario suggested to us! We thank our new friends and hope to visit you soon.

I stayed at Casa Ratti in June 2012 while passing through after a vacation in France with a group of eight cycling friends. Marisa, the owner, welcomed us with friendliness and a good glass of Barbera, then guided us on a visit to Canelli and the Bosca winery with its famous "underground cathedrals". The location is quiet, the rooms are very welcoming, and the breakfast is varied and abundant as requested by athletes. The time available was short, but given the positive experience, we proposed to return to Ca' d'Rot for a stay entirely dedicated to cycling excursions in the beautiful hills of the surroundings.

Hello, I am Caterina. I stayed at Ca' d'rot in June 2012. I had a really good time. The rooms are beautiful and welcoming and the breakfast in the morning caters to all tastes. The owners Marisa and Mario are welcoming and helpful people and they make themselves available to show the surrounding places of the B&B, such as the beautiful historic wineries of Canelli, which I personally found very beautiful. The area is so vast that I was not able to visit it all, so I will return to Ca' d'rot to finish visiting it and to be again in the company of the Ratti family.
