Description

La Pepanella is a Bed & Breakfast located in one of the most beautiful area around Biella. Magnano is a little village found in the middle of the moraine hill "La Serra" and the B&B is located in the nearby open country, in Cascina Carbonera region, just right to the Bose Monastery.

The breakfast we provide includes fresh bread, jams, honey, Nutella, packaged croissants, cookies, yogurt, and butter. On the table, you will also find a nice platter of sliced meats and cheeses produced by our dairy. A major highlight is the opportunity to enjoy freshly milked milk in the morning.

With a pleasant 10 minutes walk you can get to Bose monastic community, oasis of spirituality and peace.
With a similar walk you can get to San Secondo, one of the most interesting examples of Romanic Architechture found near Biella and Ivrea, built in the eleventh century A.C.. In August and September the church is open to public to host the Antique Music Festival.
By foot you can get to Magnano and to its Medieval Shelter, built in 1204, that every year in August hosts the local Medieval Festival.
If you love golf, near Magnano you can find the famous Golf Club Le Betulle, listed as one of the best National and International Golf Club.

This was our second stay at the B&B La Pepanella, Beatrice is a fantastic host and we enjoyed our time here just as much as the first. The place is clean and well equipped. We went with my two children who were able to have their own room meaning my husband and I didn't have to go to bed as early as they did. The family farm is meters away and the girls just loved to watch the cows and chickens. We will definitely be going again when we are back in the north of Italy.

Beatrice and her husband are very welcoming. The room and the breakfast room are comfortable and very clean. You can make yourself a coffee or a herbal tea at any time of the day, which is a great opportunity. The breakfast is plentiful, enriched with local cheese and fresh farm milk. I would have liked not to find packaged baked goods and jams: in a historical moment where plastic is omnipresent, it would be nice to abandon the single-portion packaging. The proximity to the Bose Monastery allows you to reach it on foot with a comfortable walk through the meadows. I highly recommend La Pepanella in any season to rest and enjoy peace and silence. Well done!
