Due to its wonderful location, the Saluzzo Paesana 1718 B&B is a great starting point for touring the historical centre of the city and many other places of interest. It is also near many night clubs and restaurants in the Roman Quarter.
The Saluzzo di Paesana 1718 B&B is located in via del Carmine 1 (2nd floor) in the centre of historical Turin. It is situated in piazza Savoia, an elegant and historical square which is of artistic value and particularly interesting.
The B&B is located inside a beautiful antique building dating back to the 1700’s. In fact, it originally belonged to the Marquess of Saluzzo di Paesana and is the most important and biggest nobile palace in Turin.
The Palace is located within the Roman Quarter – the centre of the city’s famous night life – and just a short walk from via Garibaldi, which is the longest pedestrian-only street in Europe, and it is close to Castello Square (Medals Plaza). In a few minutes you can also walk to the Porta Susa train station and all of the most important museums, monuments, historical and artistic places in the city.
Parking is avaible for a fee in the nearby parking structures.

How to reach us
By rail:
If your train stops at Porta Susa you can reach us on foot (about 7-8 minutes). Opposite the station take Via Cernaia and after about 150 metres turn left into Corso Palestro. Keep walking for about 350 metres up to the crossroads with Via del Carmine. Turn right.
From Porta Nuova station take the number 52 or 67 bus in the direction of Scialoja and get off at the Garibaldi stop. Keep walking for 30 metres until you reach Piazza Savoia and then turn left into Via del Carmine.
By road:
Take the ring road and get off at Regina Margherita. Follow the road for about 5 km and turn right into Corso Valdocco. After 200 metres turn left into Via San Domenico, then after 200 metres turn right into Via Bligny. Drive along one block and you’ll arrive at your destination.
You will find the nearest car park 150 metres away, driving down Via Bligny until you reach Piazza Arbarello.
By air:
A taxi from Caselle airport takes 25-30 minutes (at a cost of about € 30. 00). Alternatively you can use the SADEM shuttle service (€ 6. 00), getting off at Porta Susa station. From there you’ll reach the B&B in 7-8 minutes on foot (see instructions above for arrival by train).

It is difficult for me to give a rating to a structure that was not properly a bed and breakfast. I was traveling with my family and we had taken the entire structure. Below are my comments. The apartment is beautiful and in a central and quiet location at the same time. Unfortunately, it was not what I had booked: there was no breakfast or possibility to prepare it, just a kettle for water (which I had to use to heat the milk) and three mini portions of biscuits. There were no utensils (not even spoons to stir the tea), or placemats to place the glasses on. We did not have a fridge available to store what we needed to prepare breakfast or a kitchenette. The owner is a kind person, but I cannot say the same about the young lady who the next day at 10:00 AM arrived without ringing the bell (the bathrooms were far from the rooms so we could have even been in bathrobes) asking us rudely if she could start cleaning one of the rooms while we were trying to enjoy a makeshift breakfast. Clearly, we pointed out the inappropriateness of her request. Therefore, I ask to review the model.

Very well located in the center, charming places and welcoming reception. The only downside is that the bathroom door does not close very well and the bathroom is not private, this was not mentioned anywhere. Everything else was fine.

The property is beautiful, a splendid apartment in the heart of the Roman Quadrilatero in Turin. However, the fact that only one room has an en-suite bathroom penalizes it quite a bit. If the exclusive use bathroom were in front of the room, it might still work, but being at the end of the hallway and having to cross the common area to reach it makes it inconvenient and also a bit embarrassing.
